September 4, 200718 yr Member Like I said to each their own, I apologized(which I guess was ignored) so nuff said Just one more off-topic post from me: at least someone here knows what a sincere apology means. Edited September 4, 200718 yr by Sylph
September 4, 200718 yr Member Big Freakin Word! I went back and read this thread and really, some of the attitudes are uncalled for. No one should be made to feel bad for disagreeing with the "majority" opinion. That's not what SON is about. We all feel passionately one way or the other about AMC. I also agree that it's too soon to be singing the praise for B&E bringing out the vets for their airtime. One day isn't gonna fix anything. One day isn't going to bring back the viewers who liked them. Maybe this is the start of something good, maybe it's not. But either way, the vets need to be a fixture on the show, and not have ONE FREAKIN STORY dominate airtime for over a month and a half. I will say it was nice to see the vets though. I wish we could see them more often.... The first few weeks of McTavish's return (the July 4th picnic, etc) we also saw the vets rolled out--this doesn't mean anything. I think, with soap time, that we have to give B&E till Nov sweeps to really see if they're in the right direction or not.
September 4, 200718 yr Member Ok - I really do, sincerely apologize to anyone (Slyph, Kylie, ...) I personally insulted. I immaturely let my emotions get the best of me, and as I said, was moody last week. Sometimes I feel I can justify my words bc you all are a virtual being to me, but I need to get over that and realize everyone here really is SOMEBODY. lol So with that, again, I apologize. I stand by my opinions of the episode and any disagreeing opinions with you all, but the personal insults were not needed. R - I still love you boo! We SO need to chat Star Trek sometime. Now, after such an awesome Labor Day weekend, I am refreshed and ready for a new week of AMC!
