Members Soapsuds
Glad Federer won too!!
Members Soapsuds
Federer increased his lead as the #1 player in the world. Djockovic is a distant #2...up from #3. Followed by Murray at #3...up from #4. Nadal tumbles to #4 and Del Porto remains at #5 with the only American in the top 10...Roddick remaining at #7. The race for #2 is really close(the gap) between Djockovic and Del Porto.
Members Jonathan
I read that this was a temp swimming pool at Rod Laver Arena. How temporary was this pool? Is it readily available now? Did Serena go swimming after she won? I'm confused.
Members SnCCorinthos4ever
Yep it was only a Temp pool, was taken out after the swimming championships, not sure what they did with it exactly. The centre court from memory was also used as a ice skating rink for Torvil & Dean years ago, and I have been to concerts there as well, one of them being Janet Jackson. The other court that is covered was also a Basket Ball court and was also used for cycling championships. Now that they are planning to also cover Margaret Court Arena I wonder if they will make that multi purpose as well.
Administrator Toups Posted June 23, 2010 Author Administrator Share Posted June 23, 2010 Insane match going on right now! 56-56 in the fifth set! WTF!! LOL
Members SnCCorinthos4ever
ITA, this last set is lasting longer than an actual match, and have played more games than than some players have played for their entire Wimbleon career. This match is going to go down in history as one of the best if not the best ever. And from what I saw on the TV before leaving for work there is one hell of a crowd there. Pity I am at work right now and stupid radio stations are more interested in a couple of Soccer games, but I do have the Wimbledon site up.

And none of the Canadian sports sites are streaming it. 59-59!!

Members Soapsuds
They interviewed both players. It seems John Isner wanted to continue. They even interviewed John's mother.
