Talk about a final not to watch....LOL at least Pablo winning didn't give me heartburn ......LOL

The funny thing is that the homophobe/racist is now higher ranked than Stevie at #47 and Stevie is at #52.

He is 32 already. I knew he was older than 30.

Well Jared Donaldson acted a fool today. Will this be covered on the latest season of “My Tennis Life”? 😂

There’s a mark RIGHT. HERE. 😂

Dude lost it, in every sense of the word. I wonder how he’ll be disciplined for this. He actually got in the umpire’s face in an aggressive way.

I heard Tracy and Justin were making excuses for him. At least the guys on Tennis TV actually called him out for his behavior.

when I heard their comments. Of course they'd make excuses for him.  I've never cared for Jared's game. It it too mechanical for my tastes. His game is too robotic. He will be lucky if he makes the top 30 in rankings. I can see him winning a cheap all American 250 event but that's about it. He seems like a nice guy but maybe his true colors showed today.

Oh and I LOVED Stefanos Tsitsipas beating Shapovalov. He is so overrated. Gimbelstob gushing over his game is ridiculous!

He only knows how to play one way if he is off he loses badly. If his game is on and he bashes every ball in the court he wins.

Glad to see Nishikori back in elite form, but AGAIN he has to take the scenic route to victory against an injured player (Cilic) he should have easily beaten in straights, which is one reason he stays injured himself. Zverev had a surprisingly tough battle against Gasquet, so we’ll see what he can do. Nadal looks pretty unbeatable, though. Wow.

I saw things with Novak that looked promising, so I’m hopeful. Obviously his fitness isn’t all the way back, but I think getting back with Vajda will be helpful. Fingers crossed he stays the course.

The one thing that’s been good about the time away is that fans are more appreciative of Novak and maybe even Andy. I’ll admit to wanting to have Andy back on tour. That’ll probably change pretty quickly once he starts scowling, cursing, and chirping at his box again lol, but he’s so effective at dismissing servebots.

Kerber's draw in Stuttgart looks...well, challenging, to say the least.

That Siegemund/Strycova match is either going to be fireworks or too annoying to watch.

They each have a tendency to get on my last nerve.

There is often something slightly entertaining about two highly irritating characters grating on each other, testing each other's patience during a match.  Having said that, I think I'll pass on that match.

And LOL @ that Sloane/CoCo match.

    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton practically twirling his moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.

    • Lol. Right?  I mean the show could have framed the 60th anniversary in a different way, but the narrative was celebrating Tom and the hospital. Also, what a weirdly sexist bunch of posts about women's nail polish.  Like, yes, this is Days problem lol.  Stacy Haiduk isn't a good Kristen because she doesn't wear nail polish?  Are we in the 1950's???
