Thanks DramatistDreamer.....teehee

No problem.

I missed most of the match myself but left the livestream going on my laptop so when I returned, I saw the score and the final few points of the match.

Today's matches proved why Tomas Berdych never won a major. The only loss from the Europe team was in doubles.

I was wondering where is Grigor? Why wasn't he picked to be on the team instead of Berdych who is lower ranked?

For what it's worth, the doubles was probably the only category I thought that the World Team could really win.  Jack is a better doubles player than singles and Nick knows his way around a doubles court, contrary to what people think. More importantly, Kyrgios and Sock had actual chemistry, unlike Rafa and Tomas.

Berdych was definitely was the weak link in the doubles today and Kyrgios and Sock was smart to target him.

So team Europe..specifically Roger Federer threw Tomas Berdych to the wolves....LOL.  TC showed the meeting of who should play who today and instead of Borg making the choices since he is the captain...an outspoken Fed wants nothing to do with Kyrios neither does he want Nadal playing him. He puts up Tomas and says the home crowd will help him maybe win....LOLOLOL.....Lawd....now I know where his wife got the backstabbing/evil eye from.....LOL

Also Milos returned this week only to withdraw after one game in his second match. Lindsay Davenport kept saying how he could be back so soon from wrist surgery. During the US Open he told John McEnroe that his surgery was minor compared to Delpo and others...umm...yeah right....
