Yes it is. No final? Awful for the fans and the whole tournament in general. Milos has done this several times already. I don't see him winning a major if his body can't hold up for a single week tournament much less a two week one.

The good thing is I get to see all of Thiem's match and not bits and pieces had Sock been playing.

WTF?!  I hate when this happens. Why not let the person Raonic beat (Delpo) play?  I remember Fed beat Wawrinka in the semis at YEC and pulled out of the final so Djoker won by default a few years ago, which was ridiculous to me!  They need to revise this and fast!

Andres Gomez said the same thing today. He said that Del Po should have been allowed to play in the finals against Sock and if he won he should receive the trophy and points. I agree too.  Milos supposedly has a tear in his leg....he did pull out from the Acapulco tournament. 

 

If he has a tear I don't see him getting better in a week for the Indian Wells where he has final points to defend.

I didn't get to see all of the Thiem/Carreno-Busta final but Thiem's wet T-shirt/kit seemed to be the topic of a lot of discussion.

 

All of a sudden Acapulco is the place to be! The tournament organizers must be thrilled at this unexpected bonanza of top 10ers but I'm thinking that the guys who normally compete here may not be thrilled at the possibility of their prospects to win or get further in the tournament being diminished in a matter of days.

Thiem is defending champion and is seeded #4.  I am surprised that Nadal and Novak didn't play Dubai.

Donaldson lost to Kozlov in qualies in Acapulco ......Donaldson shouldn't have gotten rid of his old coach. He hasn't done squat since he went with Fish/Gambill.
