Djoker sobbing like a little girl yesterday was really painful to watch.

This loss begs the question...how many trophies would Djoker have if Delpo were healthy for the past 2 years?

Probably 0…LOL  I was so thrilled that Delpo beat Djoker. I couldn't believe Novak melted down that way after his loss from Delpo. He even refused an interview after the match. Novak hasn't looked right since Paris….although in Monte Carlo he didnt look good either. His win at the Canadian Open last week was pure will and guts and luck. He looked awful at the tournament as well and 3 guys had a chance to beat him earlier there too and they didn't.

Yeah, that took me by surprise when I heard it too.

Tennis in Rio is a real sh*tshow at this Olympics. The surface is as slow AF and many of the players are either fighting illness or getting weird injuries and the crowds have been incredibly rude at times.  There are no points for this either.

I tried to tune into the match between DelPo and Sousa and saw some fight break out in the stands. I'm just over it already. The only thing that will save it for me is if the 3 or 4 people I like that are still in the draw get a chance to get a medal.

John Isner stayed at home thinking he was going to vulture the U.S. summer hardcourt season but Nick snatched that BB&T title that John had assumed he owned. I saw John even tried to change into his Georgia Bulldog colors but it didn't work.

ESPN was saying  how he was going for number 4. BB&T has no competition thats why he keeps winning it…LOL. This year he was unfortunate that Nick played it….LOL  He loves playing the summer tour because the first 2 or 3 tourneys no one good plays them so he wins them….LOL.

Steve Johnson is now the top ranked American man (for whatever that's worth) supplanting John Isner.

ETA: Johnson just lost to Verdasco in NC.

Just last week Johnson was complaining that he didn't think DelPo should be offered a wildcard, that it might deprive some deserving American player instead. I wonder if that message got back to Juan.:P

Wow, he has a lot of nerve saying that considering he hasn't won anything. Delpo=US Open Champion…how many times has Johnson beat Nadal, Roger or Novak? 0 I guess being the number 1 american player for one week gives you the right to smack talk.LOL.  I hope they meet and Del Po beats him badly. No American player deserves it over Del Po.

LOLOL…He was close 2nd round…..

I doubt Americans care…they know how bad USA male tennis is right now. I am sure most would rather see Delpo instead of another mediocre American male tennis player.

I see Sam opened his mouth too in that article. Sam is another useless American player.

The only people who question whether DelPo deserves a wildcard are Steve and perhaps Sam.  Steve was foolish for opening his mouth in the first place because clearly he spoke this into being.

Well I guess Steve Johnson shouldn't have opened up his mouth!  DelPo moves on in a thrashing….LOL   And shame on Jim Courier for supporting Johnson's thought about not giving DelPo a wildcard. Bye Steve!

    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
