I haven't watched much either with Thiem not playing. Medvedev with final appearance moves to #4 and Roger drops to #5. Tsitsipas who has dropped to #7 might miss year end champions with injury. He is the defending champion.

I actually think this is a decently fair distribution, at least on paper.

In terms of form, Medvedev and Zverev could really trouble Novak if they are serving well, which they have been lately. I’m sure Novak would prefer Rafa’s group atm.

Thiem arrived yesterday. He received player of the year in Austria on Tuesday night.

Mens final  1.0 rating and 1.58 million viewers.  The lowest final which was previously the 2017 final....yikes....

 

Women's final  0.5 rating 763,000 viewers.....double yikes....the lowest women's final ever...
