Wally Kurth's returning next month as Justin Kiriakis.

Really?

Length of run?

(I ask because I had just read on another site that his GH role was being beefed up this summer)

i could see this being true...On todays show Adrienne has purchased a bar, so she's sticking around in Salem for a little while...I liked Justin and Adrienne, so i'm fine with him returning for a short run or longer...

Considering GH's track record with the Q's, I'm not entirely surprised, but I'm not exactly inclined to believe this. It seems weird.

It's possible that he could be recurring on both shows. Look at Susan Seaforth Hayes, she pops up on both Y&R and Days from time to time. However, with GH supposedly using him more and more this summer, I don't know how likely a return to Days is possible for him.

I don't know about that. GH isn't one to share their actors like that and like others said, he is working more on GH.

Honestly, I don't see Guza and Phelps giving the OK on this

I like the idea of Justin coming back. It could mean more Victor. Victor's always treated Justin like a son. It will be interesting to see how Philip gets along with Justin. We could see some rivalries there.

Well legally and technically Guza and Phelps havs ABSOLUTELY no say over this whatsoever. Since Kurth is only recurring on GH, he can go and work on any other show, be it daytime or primetime, whenever he pleases.

He can also refuse to work on GH if they ask him...since he has no contract, the show has absolutely no control over what other projects he chooses to do, WHILE recurring.

Same situation happened with Mary Beth Evans. She was recurring on ATWT and then signed on to DAYS, ending her ATWT stint just like that.

Kurth certainly can do both shows, so long as his tapings do not start to overlap or anything.

I personally hope this is true. Give me Kurth as Justin Kiriakis on DAYS over Ned on GH..ANY day of the week!

Just to see Judy Evans and Wally Kurth reunited makes me super excited....I really hope this is true!

Tony, Anna, Roman, John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, Steve, Kayla, Adrienne, Justin, Stefano, Victor (Days could possibly have one of the best old school vet casts in Daytime)...

Mitch, I cannot stop laughing everytime I see your avatar!

But yeah, in all honesty, I don't see this happening. I know he's not contracted to GH but he seems to be very loyal to them.

And Ned is in tomorrow's preview of GH, so Ned will be around. But considering it was taped a couple weeks back, who knows how long he'll be there.
