Is ATWT all teens?

Oh I agree...ATWT has major problems with way too many teens on. But his comment of ...oh...back I go to OLTL wasnt necessary. Isnt it obvious he trying to pimp OLTL on this thread by that post?

I'm actually not that familiar with Jay's posts so no. All I saw was someone who might possibly be getting fed up with OLTL, decided to catch another soap to see if it was better, wasn't satisfied, and is settling back to what he is used to.

Someone who doesnt watch the show. If it was a constant viewer I would think differently. He has never posted on an ATWT thread before. It is like me making an observatioin of OLTL. Which I dont watch regulary. Thats my problem with his post.

So what your saying is that if someone does not consistently watch a soap, they have no right to comment, because that means they are starting trouble? Yeah ummkay What about all your negative posts in Days and Passiosn threads? (2 soaps you don't watch)

I'll take "Pot.Kettle.Black" for for $500 Alex

In honesty, I just wanted to make a comparison. I didn't intend on leaving OLTL. :)

One would think, but I'd hardly call Meg, Paul, and Craig teens and they've been shoved down our throats too.

The good thing about ATWT teen is that they can all act. Four of them were just nominated for Emmys.

The other positive is that many are next generation characters like Luke and Will.

Today also featured the brilliant Marie Masters who has been on ATWT for nearly 40 years as well as the superb Martha Byrne, Kelley Hensley, Grayson McCough and Robin Mattson.

It's summer. A lot of soaps will do teen stories. But not always are the teens played by good actors.

Yes, and I saw that. OLTL's teens are mediocre, at best, with the exception of Kristen Alderson. I just wanted to compare the teens. I dont think I saw even 1 on Passions, I must admit.

I think the the actors who play the ATWT teens are mediocre at best. I find them all to be a tad overrated. I think the kid actors playing Parker and JJ are lightyears ahead of them. Add horrendous writing to it (like PJ mentioned, it's really isolating), and I would hardly call the teen scene on the show "must-see TV".

Well compared to other soaps yes, but ATWT has older people like Lily, Holden, Lucinda, Carly.

Heres another question that might help. If anyone watches OLTL and ATWT, can you help? Does ATWT have a smaller cast than OLTL?
