Oh Carl - his camp factor was max in his short scene on Friday... Looking forward to this a lot.

I find it hilarious that after Bridget was always mixed with the studs (well, except for Oscar that is) she now gets no Brooke-lfte-overs for a change but he's also not THE most sex-good-type. LOL!

Can't wait to watch a new week of B&B. I also need some cheering up, Monday has been gruesome to me.

I bet Ms. Cleo can tell Bridget who the baby mama is! LOL!

I have a feeling that Carl has a thing for Budge and he's going to tell her whatever she wants to know. If they're going to stretch out the reveal, perhaps this Carl guy will provide some comic relief or creeps in the meanwhile.

How many children has Taylor had? Yet, here's Brooke offering her advice on how to handle morning sickness like she's never been through it before.

Can Nick and Brooke really keep their feelings and eyes and other body parts off of each other while working together? Stay tuned!

Kinda OT. I'm really pissed that B&B didn't win that Emmy Friday. Heck, I would rather have OLTL, which I don't watch, win over Y&R and GL. Lynn "The Hack" Latham and David Sucksman won't be going anywhere now. And B&B should have an Emmy by now.

Oh no! You don't want OLTL to win, lol. I think it showed in their clip package how cheesy the show is now. It's never been worse and for it to win would be a travesty. Might get Higley a new gig. But B&B was TOTALLY robbed! Did you see that clip package? Pure brilliance! I was so shocked that there was a tie and B&B wasn't included. What a load of garbage!

I'm in love with Carl and I hope they keep him around (and not evil). Bridget needs happiness in her life, I'm so sick of all the misery surrounding her. Can't wait to see how the Forrester's react to him.

I don't know why they would make Carl stay around long term. He'd be gone in six months if he lasted that long.

LOL ChrisB! I just can't stand LML winning and GL... well, if it had to be a tie, I'd rather it had been GL and B&B.

Here's hoping that Carl will bring the fun side out of Bridget. She's been a depressed mess for way too long. Seriously, Bridget seems to do all of the worrying for all of the other characters troubles.

I'm getting more of a "funny odd-ball" vibe instead of a "weirdo-psycho" vibe from Carl, so I'm hoping he'll be around for a while.

The Bug (I use that moniker affectionately) was back today. I think she's now made more appearances on this show than she made on Y&R all of last year. LOL!

He's too sexy for his suit, too sexy for his pants, too sexy for his glasses...

So much for remaining spoiler-free. I just had to read MrSmartypants-recaps because I'm dying to see what happens between Carl (A JANITOR!? - There are people in LA who clean up the messes of the Forresters!? And Their name is not Maria, Connie, Rosario or Consuela - GASP!!!) but my workload this week is totally frustrating and leaves me no time for B&B so far. Sigh!

Where did Carl get his suit, BTW? It looked either very flamboyant-gay or Carl is stuck in the 80s? I love him already.

For screencaps like this...

...I start wishing that La Bug stays in LA.

OK, you know I hate Brad Bell's writing, but seeing how great Ashley and the Bug (who I DESPISED when she dominated Y&R during the 1990s) are being written on that show, I'm wondering whether Bradley is trying to prove how much better a writer he would be at Y&R than LML.

LML is just ripping William J. Bell's masterpiece to shreds. And yet ANOTHER shock firing, folks! Soon we are going to have Whole New Young and the Restless centring on Albino Porn Whore and FauxCane. Um, yay. <_<

Oh, Carl's a janitor! LOL! I don't know why I thought he was a lab tech and posted that somewhere. Oh, well...

Were those moth balls I saw on Eric, Felicia and Thorne today? There's nothing like imprisonment to bring a family together. LOL!

No Carl and Bridget today. :( Do they have a shipper name yet? Burl? Car-Bridge? The Nerd Gets His Groove Back With the Hot Doctor?

I like Carl...he's very reminiscent of someone from 80's Y&R or B&B. He just has that look about him. I hope someone gets what I mean by that.

I like Cricket on B&B too. Everyone just seems energized when they come to LA.

I do have a question: How did Cricket get to be Ridge's lawyer? Did Ashley call her up or recommend her to the Forresters?

I would equate Ashley/Cricket's crossovers to B&B as the best I've seen in a long time.

Have the axed Y&R writers started scripting for B&B? Even the dialogue seems different...like when Stephanie was in the office yesterday talking to Rick and told him stuff about Brooke bringing in a new husband every month and saying, "I knew Eric should have sued for custody of you when you were a baby."

    • Agree.  But I would describe him as being disappointed not bitter.
    • >>><<< Great minds!  Kat certainly does prove that point. She's been given a lot to work with, so we shouldn't be bored of her anytime soon. I am interested in all her storylines at the moment, and curious how the show will use the affair to impact her romances and business stories. Well, what movie was it? Cause… I noticed it too. The first couple of seconds of the song were slightly different. OMG! Great call, precisely the same situation.
    • I think Kin was dissatisfied at GH in as much as Scotty had been pushed aside for Luke/Laura and the writing was doing him no favors as Scotty was now seen as an obstacle to their romance. So with his contract up he was offered big $$$ to move to Texas, which you can't blame him for. In addition to the money, I recall he was promised that Jeb would be a more dynamic character than Scotty. The money came through but not the story, so  don't blame him for being  slightly bitter.

Y&R their 4th win with 10 writers on their team. The tie made it exciting.  Oprah Winfrey presented something I've edited out. Regis introduced  Watros, Newman & Zimmer & they presented Best Actress with the nominees AW Jensen Buchanan, GH Genie Francis, AMC Susan Lucci & Y&R Jess Walton, who proceeded to win it. 1st time. Erica Slezak made the presentation of Best Show with nominees AMC, DAYS, GH & Y&R. And getting their 5th win GH won the day. EP Wendy Riche accepting.
    • A random thought - June is related to Hayley AND Tyrell and Samantha. Hayley and June are sisters separated when young. Years later June's children Ty and Sam end up being adopted into the Dupree family, coincidentally giving Hayley a further link to that family.
    • He spoke highly of the cast but was disappointed in his lack of story.  He was not disrespectful and he has the right to express his feelings.
    • I like Nicole the most, because she's the only normal person, even if she slides into psych-analyzing speak. I like Anita--but I suspect that's more about my attachment to Tamara Tunie. I'm on the fence about Dani--but I don't see her as the underdog vs. Nicole. Dani had her a fabulous life. Nicole might not have lived in her sister's shadow, but it seems like Dani gets the attention in the family.
    • I definitely wouldn't mind seeing him again. I understand.  BUT...a start.

I thought this was Debbi Morgan and squeeled!
    • Cody could have been Derek. He shows a lot more emotion in the scenes he gets than Gavin ever has.
