ABC ranked 1st for the week in women 18-49 rating (1.6), followed by NBC (1.4) and CBS (1.3). NBC and ABC were tied for #1 among women 18-34 (1.3) each, followed by CBS (0.9). Compared to the prior thirty-six weeks of the season, NBC was flat in women 18-49, was down -0.1 in women 18-34, and dropped -0.3 in women 25-54. After a few months of sub-par deliveries, NBC daytime showed signs of recovery for the second week in a row.

Yay DAYS! They are slowly building up (really slowly... another +.1, but hey... who cares! As long as it's going up! :D)

Memorial day numbers were horrible... if it weren't for them, ABC soaps would be ok...

GL and ATWT hitting all time lows is BAD! OMG! GL held above 2.0 for SO LONG! And now they had to fall to 1.8... horrible...

PS Thanks, Lskreet!!

I agree winterguy. The show needs a big overhaul. Katie and Jack need to end. No one cares about them. Cleo needs to leave town. And Will needs to leave Gwen. I have a feeling next week's ratings will be worse.

Congrats to Days!!! The really has been very good the past few weeks, at least it is to me! I wasn't sure that they would improve much in the ratings. I would have been happy if they held steady but a 2.3 is wonderful!! I wouldn't be completely surprised if they pass OLTL and AMC very soon!

And, sorry to say, but AMC is not holding steady. They have lost more viewers.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
