Good for Days!! They have been holding my interest the last few weeks for the most part. I still find Shawn/Belle/Phillip extremely boring though. They could cut back on them and focus more on John/Marlena/Hope/Bo and I would be happier! It will be interesting to see if Days can continue to climb in the ratings or if this is as high as they will go. IfDays continues to grow and AMC/OLTL continue to drop, they could be pass them up this summer!!

And not surprised about the drop for Y&R and AMC. I am starting to lose interest in Y&R because Gloria keeps getting away with everything. Makes me mad!! And the prospect of Rylee again sends shivers down my spine and not in a good way!!

Yup, 2 weeks ago they had the low of 2.2. I actually enjoyed last week. The storylines are by no means great but vets were shown. And Carly was back. Wasnt the week Carly saw Jack. Or was that last week? I still say too much Kack for viewers That plus Cleo/Gwen & Co.

I think a lot has to do with too much Kack. They are on practically everyday now. Plus I know I am not alone in being very disappointed that the WorldWide story turned into a story about Craig/Paul/Meg. Just seeing the vets isn't enough for me, They need to be in a good story. While Carly is back a lot of people are very disappointed in the way her return has been written. These numbers don't surprise me at all.

Wow, DAYS actually managed to not have Thursday as their lowest watched day of the week. Now that the god awful island story is over, I expect the ratings upswing to continue.

Balance is a great things on DAYS. Corday must have been watching AMC, realizing that you need balance along with good storylines to maintain your audience.

ATWT is just awful. The vets may be in "storylines" (I disagree with that), but they definitely aren't showed enough. Colleen Zenk Pinter only has 19 episodes since the start of 07? It's disgusting. Who's leading the pack with 69 episodes? Jennifer Landon. It's disgusting.

The vets may be on, but they aren't really driving their storylines. Lucinda & Craig are playing a supporting role (IMO) to a story that should be all about them. Tom and Margo are doing what? Lily & Holden are doing what? Barbara's out taking a long walk.....

The vets should be dominating ATWT right now. The younger set has proven they cannot carry this show and it's time for the president of CBS Daytime, Mrs. Barbara Bloom to remove the hack writer known as JP from control of ATWT. She needs to be tar and feathered, and blacklisted from ever writing for a soap again.

Now back to DAYS, lol. I think within a few weeks, they may pass ATWT in the ratings, and will be in the middle of the pack, tied with AMC and OLTL for the coveted 4th place.

GH has been stuck at a 2.7 for a while now and that's sad. The show could be so much better but it's not. Guza has run his course. It's time for him to leave (and he can take Elizabeth Korte with him). This is the first sweeps in a long while that GH hasn't gone up in the ratings. They're treading water right now. I hope this proves to the higher ups that nuSkool Liason isn't interesting the viewers. Character destruction does it a lot when it comes to fan likability of the couples..... Mr. Craig is Jerry? WTF.

AMC's ratings should be higher, OLTL's should be lower (I'm sorry but the show is really, really, REALLY bad.)

I've been predicting that Y&R will fall below a 3.9 by September and I'm going to stick to my guns. If it wasn't for the fact that I like a majority of the actors on the show I would not be watching. The entire show is way too fragmented, storylines are started then dropped and picked up 4 weeks later on a consistent basis and it's frustrating to a viewer. The actors appeal is really starting to decrease for me. I know they do a great job acting above the shitty writing, but even that is starting to be lost on me.

To me Kack have that icky brother/sister feeling. There is nothing there between them. I agree about the Worldwide story. It should involve only Lucinda and Craig. I miss the days when Douglas Marland wrote business storylines. He knew how to write this kind of story. Jean doesnt know how to. She gets every character involved in some crime to get what they want. I was pissed Carly defended Simon to the hills. I dont particulary liked how her situation with the jewel heist ended. And can someone tell me what is the purpose of Cleo? And where the hell is Barbara? She needs a storyline of her own!

Good for Days. Slow climbs are definitely better as they make it easier to hold audience. They should go up for this week as Memorial Day will probably count as a special (although, with John waking up, it may get a high number so maybe they should count it). It seems all the soaps did bad on Friday, as expected. That is why Days dropped off too. That was the Friday of Memorial Weekend and people were probably leaving town and so on. That is why I think alot of shows will count Monday as a special, including Days, since most people probably were busy.

Passions did well too. Maybe people are getting into the stalker plot or maybe the big reveals helped. Good for them.

ATWT needs help fast, as does OLTL. AMC is on the upswing and part of me wants them to go up and GH to go down because GH is a mess right now IMO. Days is only .2 away from jumping back in to the top 4 and that says alot considering where they have been this year.

Not bad ratings though. I figured a 2.2 for Days so I am happy.

Please Y&R FALL MORE! I want the show to at least go down to a 3.5 and stay there. This way, we'll be almost sure LML will be fired. CBS will not stand for the pride and joy of their daytime lineup to suffer from sub par ratings and writing then.

Oh, and B&B deserves to usurp Y&R from that #1 spot. I never thought it was possible, but B&B has been on a creative high lately and looks more like itself than any other show.

Yes!!!!!! Days is slowly climbing back up!!!! And a 2.3?! For Days, that is a big "WOW".

I hope we get a boost for this week, too. With John waking up. But the ratings I am really anxious to see in two weeks are for a certain day next week.... ;)

Hahaha. 2.0 for Days on Friday. The Ejami show is doing nothing for this soap.

Both DAYS and Passions fell .3 on Friday so it seems more a network thing than a storyline. But we have yet to see. What happened on Friday anyway and who was on?

Not only that but the ABC soaps saw declines on that day too. I know they had preemptions but still. That Friday is the Memorial weekend beginning. It's no surprise there was a decrease. EJ was on all last week and the numbers were fine.

Days and Passions always tend to see decreases on weekends like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. They do well in between but those weekends are heavy activity and travel weekends and always see declines.

The drop can't be attributed to EJ on that day or any other character. If anything, if that episode appeared on any other day, it would've seen an increase because John began to wake up.
