OMG Paul was sooooo fabulously Stenbeckian with Lucinda today. LOVE! Did Lucinda call Meg unstable? Cuz I will bow down to her if so! For today, Paul had his backbone firmly intact. And I loved it!

His insistence to Ali that Emily not find out? She's SO going to.

I liked the scenes between Em and Ali actually, well until Dusty showed up. Then it went to FF.

SB and MWil have decent chemistry, I find myself actually watching Meg and Craig and I really have so little use for Meg normally.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch today's episode but I'm looking forward to it tonight. However I did rewatch yesterdays and I saw what Faith said to Parker about Carly and I was like, "You lil b*tch!" Lol...Parker's expression was so painful. That kid REALLY knows how to act and you could see how hurt he felt by Faith. Not to mention pissed off at the girl. However I'm glad Faith apologized and Parker was cool with her. I'm loving Parker and Faith right now (Path!?) They are definitely a supercouple in te making and I pray to God that they allow these kids to grow up onscreen and do NOT replace them within a few years.

Ok show today, I guess, the best parts were anything with Lucinda/Craig/Meg/Paul/Holden. I am trying to get more into this Emily/Dusty thing, but they need to get on with it already, the story is just moving way to slow for me. It was nice not seeing Gwen or her twin today.

Eh... I'm not feeling Lucinda/Paul/Meg vs. Craig.

First of all, this should be focused on LUCINDA. SHE should be the one leading the cavalry against Craig. Paul has swooped in and taken the spot that belongs to her. And Paul has no legitimate reasons whatsoever to go against Craig.

And how the hell will Rosanna coming back send him to jail. Helllllllllooooooooooooo! He already went to jail for that!!!!

I'm so sick of Dusty. He's been nothing but dead weight for the past six months or so. Get him awayyyy from Emily or stop writing him as a former thug turned bodyguard for hookers.

Hmmm... Holden is lonely. Enter Affair #15.

Celebrating a non Katie AND Gwen day!!!!!!!!!!

Dude...Craig got off on the charges for running Rosanna off the road. He got nothing for either the baby switch or the Ro's accident. He just sat in jail while awaiting trial.

Nice day all around...I can't even snark about Dusty's suddenly kissing Emily's ass. Does anyone remember...was that john of Em's the one who was obsessed with Ali's movie? It wasn't the one who beat Emily up.

Paul, Meg, and Lucinda all have valid reasons for going after Craig. I mean come on Craig ran Rosanna off the road. He slept with Jen and made her life a living hell. Then he switched the babies at birth and made her think Johnny was dead. Maybe you can argue that Lucinda has the MOST reasons for hating Craig but the story should NOT only be about her. Shes not the only victim of Craig nor would the story be any good if it wasn't for Paul and Meg.

I'm really starting to like Dusty again. I hated him during the whole fake Lucy returns to Oakdale thing but now hes back to be tolerable. NuAlison is a really good casting. Emily is still tolerable. It will be a while before shes redeemed in my eyes.

And Craig and Meg = YUCK. Thats just nasty. Its nasty now. It was plain disgusting when Meek was playing Craig. Why should a young vibrant woman like Meg be paired with a boring, old, geezer like Craig? Its bad enough he seduced/tricked Jen into sleeping with him. Don't go ruin the life of another young woman.

I like Paul better when he is not sitting in an old run down cabin and having visions and being a confidante to a pre-teen boy. He is Barbara's and James' son. I like this edge to him and loved the conversation he had with Lucinda.

I think Paul aims to drive Craig over the edge with Ali and I am looking forward to that.

I believe that was the john who watched the porno tape with Emily. I like Dusty better with Emily. She looked nice today. I can't wait until Lucinda "checks out" Alison.

I don't want an affair #15 with Holden. He needs to keep his pants zipped and take care of his family he has. I wiished he would have come across Faith and Parker at Oldtown today.

I am a little confused though about the time. Was this a new day or the same day as yesterday? We saw Maddie with Will and Gwen and she had been with Casey who had a 9:00 pm curfew so it would have been a little late for Holden to be out with Natalie.

Today was a Gwill/Cleo/Jade free day today (yay!) and a Richard Culliton script. Better then some of the other days this week.

Much better show than Thursday. Notice how I didnt post about Thursday's show. :P Best scenes were Lucinda and Paul. And Lucinda calling to check on Rosanna. I could see Ms. Walsh's wheels turning and I loved it!

Loved seeing Craig and Holden in a scene. Brought back a lot of memories.

And for some reason I found the Holden/Dusty scenes ummmmmm....interesting to say the least. ;)

I enjoyed today's show. Lucinda was great. Holden too. I really liked it all. No complaints, for a change. I wasn't even going to bother posting this but since I always seem to post a complaint, I felt I should post that I had no complaint. No changing the channel throughout the whole hour, and even next week's previews were ok (in that there was no Gwen/Cleo).

Well...I was kind of right...from the 10/11/06 transcript....

Craig: Hey. Carly. Join me.

Carly: What the hell are you doing here?

Craig: My conviction was overturned. Lack of evidence.

Carly: Try not to smirk while you say that.

So, if Rosanna awoke, she could testify against him, couldn't she? I'm sure they could think up some new charges if need be.

    • Apologies Slick- not updating my somewhat disorganized lists. Michael Fairman THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS   Patrick "Murph" Murphy   2008-14  2017 recurring DAYS OF OUR LIVES  Mr Schroeder 1977 Wesley Ann Pfenning THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS   Lauralee 'Lorie' Brooks August 1980 Temp replacement for Jaime Lyn Bauer
    • I sure don't pretend to have expert recall, lol.   In the first episode, Sally McGuire famously said, "Kind of a drag, isn't it.  Being stuck in a place like Genoa City.  God, I feel so restless."  In the same episode, the truck driver told Brad Eliot, "Genoa City -- nice-sized town, but I prefer St. Paul.  That's where the family is."     We were given the idea from Day One that Genoa City was a fairly *small* to *mid-sized* Midwestern metropolis, not nearly as big as a Chicago or even a Detroit or Minneapolis.   In the early 1990s, Victor Newman advised Hope Wilson that Genoa City was comparable to Wichita, Kansas -- population about 400,000 in 1990, with a metro population of around 500,000.   The high-rises that I remember being featured from early on were the Genoa City Hotel and Genoa Towers.  There was a restaurant called "The Embers" in one of them (Genoa Towers, I believe). Lorie Brooks moved into a penthouse, circa 1978, which was located at 247 East Chestnut.  Lorie's unit was #2500, indicating her apartment was on the 25th floor.  Vanessa Prentiss jumped to her death from the balcony in 1981.  During Lorie's trial, they gave the address about a zillion times -- "247 East Chestnut #2500".  This was an inside joke of Bill Bell's, because his co-writer, Kay Alden, resided in real-life at 247 East Chestnut #2500 in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago.  From Lorie's balcony, we could see a cluster of several high-rises -- not a Chicago by any stretch of the imagination, but more a Wichita.   Jabot's corporate offices were on 4th Street.  The "corporate suites" were on the 12th floor, indicating the building was likely 12 stories.  Kevin Bancroft, an architect, was hired to design a new high-rise (Newman Towers) in 1981.  Much ado was made about Newman Towers being 35 stories, among the tallest in the city.  The address given for Newman Towers was 7800 Melrose, another Bill Bell inside joke -- Y&R was recorded at 7800 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles.  Paul moved his office into Newman Towers to "upgrade his image".  As someone mentioned, Nikki took an apartment in Newman Towers to "have a place in town to spend the night" when she "didn't feel like driving back to the ranch"; instead, her apartment became a love nest with Jack Abbott.  Victor and Diane, during their marriage, lived on the top floor of Newman Towers.  The show did a few remotes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, back in the 1980s and early 1990s.  Evidently the production staff felt Pittsburgh mirrored what we were seeing on-screen -- cold and snowy, good-sized Rust Belt metropolis.  I believe Pittsburgh's population was around 500,000 at the time, comparable to the "Wichita-sized city" Victor described to Hope.   In the early 2000s, there were some "establishing shots" filmed around Charlotte, North Carolina.   Not sure why they selected Charlotte over Pittsburgh.  Probably figured found a couple of buildings there on which "Newman Towers" and "Jabot Cosmetics" could be airbrushed easily.
    • Yeah, they played it wrong with them last time including the idiotic engagement to Jax (a go-to Ron always goes for with returning characters for no reason and did with Scott and Laura in an equally ridiculous subplot around the same time - there was no way those two would reunite again). But Brenda raising hell in town, antagonizing Carly, reconnecting with A.J. and Robin, even the Michael tease all worked for me because it was about her being central, able to be plugged in anywhere and shaking up the canvas. That is what she is best at and what she can do. Sonny has to come to her where she lives and especially after what happened to their marriage.
    • I mean maybe RH and Vanessa would pop off in chemistry lol.. I actually wouldn't be surprised.   I honestly don't need Brenda in random pairings but I need some movement on Sonny's part to not be the worst.  Because I feel like the always put them back together on popularity with zero movement in the actual lovestory.  And I do feel like the show plays Brenda as so lovelorn for Sonny..which fine, but Sonny is a actual trash bag fire with like 17 kids from 17 moms so...........
