THANK GOD.

Horray for Larry! Tha baby can now be raised in an environment where she wont have to worry about her fake-father drugging her up to claim her inheritance.

And damn ... that Howard K Stern is disgusting. The gold digging wheels have already started turning. Now he's going to stand behind Larry Birkhead's claim of custody against that wretched Virgie Arthur woman. Yet up untill today he's stalled, and blocked Larry's right to his child. What a fake person!

Like many of you on here...I agree and am pleased to see that Larry Birkhead is the father of DanniLynn. I do think that both Howard and Anna knew all along that he was indeed the father. Somehow I think he and Anna had a falling out of some sort prior to her giving birth and she wanted to keep the baby away from him and Howard helped her. They moved to the Bahamas were the laws typcially favor the mother in issues like this. Howard knew and in turn he and Anna skirted the DNA tests.

After she died, I think Howard had no choice but to go along with courts and do the DNA tests. I don't think he was ever in love with Anna Nicole, but rather in love with her fame and her fortune and he wanted to hold on to that via her baby daughter. I still think that he drugged her to this day and no telling what he would've done to that little girl as she got older.

I do hope that the courts grant Birkhead full custody of this little girl with supervised visitatons for Stern and for Anna's mother. That mother does not want anything more than her share of her daughters estate and fortune.

Anyways, congrats to Larry Birkhead.

He's been after the baby since before Anna and Daniel died. At which point, he wouldn't have had a claim on the baby's money. With Anna being alive, it's all hers.

also ... screw Howard. Biggest money grubber of all, blocks all dna tests to keep his hold on the baby, then instantly switches sides when the results come in so he can still count his lawyers cut of the fortune. I've also noticed at work - anyone who said "Poor Howard" was an Entertainment Tonight viewer.

Did you guys see Donna Hogan on Dr. Phil? Ugh, I wanted to throw osmething at the TV so badly. Poor Anna, she had a miserable fmaily. I wouldn't buy this book if it were on sale at the $1 store. It's so stupid. I'm trying desperately to publish my own book and this waste of trees gets space on the shelves.

annahalfsis.jpg

April 11, 2007 -- ANNA Nicole's sister Donna Hogan - same white-blond hair, industrial- strength eye and lip makeup, ample bosom, low-cut top, but drinking only Sprite - said: "It p - - - - - me off when people say I'm making money off her. I was offered fortunes to tell on her. I was there when she did liposuction in the '90s. I have pictures of her lipo. Even though I needed money bad, I never sold her out."

So, OK, so Donna, hon, so then why "Train Wreck," your new book about and against Anna?

"Because I was hurt. Because it's closure for me. Because now she's gone, and things about her upsetted me. She was selfish. I always respected her, and she always disrespected me. I was struggling. I had to live in a shelter to protect my three kids and I never asked her for nothing. She had four houses and never offered me one to stay in. I bought her a Marilyn Monroe doll and she never bought me a thing. She'd take people who worked for her on shopping sprees to Rodeo Drive and never bring my kids anything.

"She never once offered me money. Except to try and take my little girl from me. See, even after she had Danny she wanted a girl child desperately. She offered me thousands, but only if I'd give up my baby daughter to her which, of course, I wouldn't."

About their similarities: "Well, yeah, I've done drugs . . . we've both had a wild crazy life . . . both had affairs with women . . . three-way sex . . . kids without husbands . . . and I'm now kind of living with someone . . . And, like her, I worked gentlemen's clubs. I waitressed. There's perverts who just want you to get drunk with them. So I'd sit and drink. You could make $2,000 a night.

"Look, I was offered lots of the same kind of stuff she was, but I just couldn't do it. I think she had some kind of illness. She did it with all sorts of girlfriends and gay boyfriends. I mean, she gave our father - who molested girls and actually touched me - naked photos of herself. This is a man who got married the day after we buried Vickie.

"And she never liked her given name Vickie. In school she'd call herself Nicky, so maybe that's where Nicole came in."

Donna Hogan lives in Houston. Her gift baskets business is called Country Delights. Monday was her first moment ever in New York. After dinner she saw Times Square. While asking could she squeeze in a musical like "Mama Mia!" or "The Color Purple" between the 17 shows she's doing to hustle her book, I was asking her opinion of Howard K. Stern.

"I never believed he was the father of Dannielynn. He couldn't create a child even if he had two [she used a colorful word to describe male equipment.] He's not man enough. Anna Nicole Smith led him around by the nose. And can you believe his sister now has a publicist? And wants to be a Dr. Ruth-type TV sex therapist?"

And Donna's opinion of mother-dearest Virgie?

"Virgie had more media than family at the funeral. Listen, Virgie used to abuse Vickie. Treat her bad. Hit her. When they started Virgie went with her to the strip clubs.

"I never took money from anybody. All the media companies followed me and harassed me and offered big money for my story. I never took a dime. Now, for the funeral and lawyers and traveling around, Virgie has a photo company paying. Howard's bills are being paid by a TV show. Larry Birkhead probably has some deal, too."

About larger-than-life Anna Nicole Smith, this sister says: "She actually had nothing. She was always broke. She lost her ranch. She was always getting sued. She went bankrupt. She lost everything. Her life really turned into a train wreck after Howard Marshall. She got depressed. She fought to keep her name alive. She'd suddenly do anything to stay in the spotlight, then the more she got in the spotlight the more she had to do to stay there. And when Stern came into her life she really changed. Everything went downhill.

"Y'know, because of our same father and different mothers, there's others of us. Like another sister Amy, who's into modeling and nobody really knows where she is because nobody wants anything to do with her."

A bite into the Waverly Inn's soft roll, a sigh about "I really have to lose weight," and then . . . "I guess the dysfunctionality in our family goes way back."

And: "I just never want Howard or Virgie to end up with that baby."

Put it down to another of your usual humdrum ho-hum evenings of nice pleasant boring dinner-table talk. Only in New York, kids, only in New York.

    • You hit the nail on the head.
    • Out of these, I hope she isn't connected to Samantha and Tyrell. I just don't see a long term story there. I hadn't thought of a connection to Leslie but now that you bring it up...what if we find out June is Haley's sister and both were abandoned and raised in foster care. June ended up on the streets and Haley ended up with the Duprees. The mother who dumped them in foster care? Leslie. If they end up making Eva a stolen child of Nicole's, it would be a good way to develop some family for Leslie to help keep her on the canvas. She could ultimately make up with her kids and then she'd have access to Bill's money/power which could help her become a long term rival for the Duprees.
    • This was a HUGE story on the show for many years. Justin (Ross's brother) and Jackie Marler were Phillip's real parents. They showed a lot of the backstory in flashback when Jackie came on the show. Jackie caught Justin in bed with another woman. She was so devastated she divorced him immediately. She found out she was pregnant. I'm a little hazy on this--I THINK she told him she had an abortion, but maybe not. Maybe she just never told him she was pregnant. Anyway, she decided to give the baby up for adoption. She went to Europe (I think it was Amsterdam) to have the baby. She had the same doctor as Elizabeth Spaulding, who also was pregnant. The doctor was a personal friend of Alan's. He told Alan that Elizabeth's baby would be born dead and she would not be able to have more children. Instead of telling his wife the truth, Alan conspired with the doctor to do a baby switch. The doctor knew Jackie was planning to give her baby up, and she agreed to let the Spauldings have Phillip. Elizabeth woke up from the surgery and was told Jackie's baby was hers. Jackie almost immediately regretted it. She insinuated herself into Alan and Elizabeth's life so she could be near Phillip. They all became good friends. When Alan and Elizabeth returned to the states, they stayed with Jackie at first. Eventually, Alan and Elizabeth divorced and Jackie married him so she could be Phillip's stepmother. It was a disatrous marriage and they also divorced.  Justin found out the truth. Justin and Jackie remarried. Elizabeth found out and wanted them to have custody of Phillip. Alan, of course, was furious but for some odd reason eventually agreed to it. (He did not know at the time Justin and Jackie were the bio parents).  Ross and Alan had kind of an up and down relationship over the years. Ross wanted to BE like Alan in the beginning. When he was married to Carrie they were actually close friends with Alan and Hope. Their relationship totally degraded when Alan was chasing Trish Lewis and she chose Ross instead. Yes, and he also did not approve of how Alan dealt with Phillip much of the time. So they never became friends again.
    • It just does not feel like Y&R anymore, even if a lot of the actors are familiar. It's just... completely lost, and I've never not felt it couldn't be turned around until now and the past few years. Stunt castings (Colleen Zenk) do not remedy the mess. At all. The focus is all wrong; there is no focus. None at all.
    • 1) Ross and Alan had a history aside from Phillip. In the early '80's Alan torpedoes Ross' campaign for DA in retribution for Trish Lewis leaving him and falling for Ross. Ross then assisted Alex in kicking Alan out of Spaulding. Then in the late '80's, Vanessa and Ross break up over her working at Spaulding with Alan, and she's briefly engaged to Alan. Then Alan shot Phillip accidently, and well....you get (part) of the picture.  Phillip trusted Ross, and their closeness really chafed at Alan. I do not think Ross really initially held Alan adopting Phillip against him. Jackie had lied to Justin and had the baby in secret.  Jackie discovered Justin had had an affair and divorced him. When she came to town, she actually ended up marrying Alan to be close to Phillip. Jackie and Justin eventually remarried and had a daughter named Sam. Jackie dies, and Justin leaves town about a year later. Justin makes a brief return, but it's mostly tied to Sam and then Phillip leaves in '91. Justin leaves town again.  Rick and Phillip patch up their friendship, although there are some other rough patches. 2) No, Rick and Fletch generally got along. But I don't recall them interacting much afterward either after the divorce. Meredith had left of her own accord, and Fletch and Rick drifted into other stories.
    • Has Sonny been a mobster since Guza? Yes, he has. Back then was he portrayed somehow as a good man, righteous? No, he was not.  Now, fly through time. Sonny has been credited with taking care of Stone & then Robin. Before you could turn around twice & shout! Sonny donated enough money to build a wing of the hospital in honor of Stone. IMO Mulcahey was on the right track. Maybe that lead to this? We may thank him yet.
    • I totally agree and that's why I wish they had played up Mary's connection to Reginald because I think Alexander had more chemistry with Considine. They never explored her backstory and just thought Mary belonged back with her family. I think a better story would be if she rejected Vince and wanted to stay with Reginald. I know we've litigated Reginald's character, but I wish they had played it that way because it would have kept the Loves and the McKinnons connected beyond just Vicky and Jake.

    • I just saw this old-ish quote from Jane Krakowski, mentioning the circus story as a worst (she said it was a ratings grab) along with the flood. She also mentioned that the reason her character was called TR is because they didn't come up with a name for her - it stood for "The Runaway." https://www.soapcentral.com/soapcentral/news/2017/0629-jane_krakowski_search_for_tomorrow.php What was TR's exit, anyway? She left before the show ended and then returned for the finale, right? Did she ever have love again after Ryder? This is John Mahoney around five minutes, right? I never knew he was on a soap.

I sometimes wondered why Evie was recast. I get why now. I've always had a soft spot for Colleen Dion, but she is very, very green here.
    • Mary Carney was the best of the Mary recasts. I think everyone I've seen talk about the show has said this, or almost everyone. The show just gave up too quickly. I agree the story was over. I don't think the show ever developed Mary's career enough to make viewers care about that aspect. I remember reading an interview with Ilene Kristen where she talked about how much support she got from viewers with Jill and Frank (I think it was from around then). I don't know if Roger/Delia was always the plan (wasn't he interested in Mary early on?) but I sometimes think they threw that together to try to make viewers feel Delia had no moral high ground. Frank was an interesting construct as a man who looked like the ideal politician yet behaved...like a typical politician. I think that's why he mostly took off once they cast Daniel Hugh Kelly, who fit the duality.
