Really, only Victoria Rowell is Drucilla. No recast would ever be as successful as the original, IMO.

Renee Jones is underrated -- she can get gritty. She's done it successfully without even breaking a nail during the baby switch storyline on Days... I was shocked! But still, she doesn't have 'the look' of Dru, IMO. She's much more tailor-made for Dru's sister, Olivia.

The only recast I could see as being somewhat successful is Dominique Jennings (ex-Virginia, Sunset Beach).

Hey, if they can get someone who is talented enough to make the role her own then I say good for her! I have no clue who this person is though so I'll have to wait and see. VR was the one who quit the show, time to move on and give someone else a chance in the role if she didn't want it anymore.

They aren't going down this path, I can't see them recating Dru in any form.

Anyway, I'm willing to bet Rowell will pop up on Y&R two years down the road, she's already left twice before, only to return two years later. Also, not like Hollywodd is filled with roles for women in her age group anyway.

I would like for Amelia to come to the show as a new character or maybe a recast of another character, but not Dru. Victoria is the only Dru!

I agree with Y&R here...I think Rowell will be back in two years. It seems like a cycle with her.

Amelia might be a little too busy with Passions for that....

I must be the only one but I really think Amelia Marshall could be a good Dru (even if I would like to see Rowell back if I could choose). At least, Marshall seems a better choice than Renee Jones for Dru.
