Count me in on JASH as well cuz I can't stand the "Holier than thou" Vega Brothers. God I hate Cristian and Antonio. What a pair of crybaby whiners. Jessica and Nash are meant for each other and I'm glad that this whole Jamie thing finally got dealt with. Yes its horrible for Jamie but in the long run she'll be grateful for it. In the long run she'll be fine.

John McBain is on way too much. And the guy playing him is not the be all, end all of daytime television. I want REG to not quit the show. I want TSJ, who I think is the best Todd to date (even better than RH), to continue on OLTL for years to come. But most of all I want Tangie to get together and last! I want a Tangie baby! Can you just see Todd looking adoringly on a new baby girl that Evangeline carried for him. I know some people think Todd has been ruined but thats far from the case. He can still be a bad guy without being totally evil. As long as he has Evangeline by his side I think Todd is a good person overall and deserves happiness. And I must add that the Todd and Vicky scenes of late are TOO FUNNY. I love them as brother and sister. And their portrayers do such a great job.

So please writers do NOT put Todd & Blair back together again. Thats cancer in the making.

I like Jash as a couple, but Jessica brought this pain on herself. She rushed into a marriage so quickly after her integration to a bonehead. Antonio and Cris are written as sterotypical Latin hotheads.

It's getting very ridiculous that Jash only gets together during storms and fires.

I felt bad for Jamie, witnessing Jess' meltdown.

Paige needs to leave this show ASAP.

TSJ re-signed today. He announced it on his blog so I assume it's true. i still believe REG will re-sign. I like Jess and Nash. You know, I always like Todd and Blair, but maybe now it's just time to do something different for awhile. I don't watch much of Tangeline. A lot of people do though. I admit, I liked Cris and Evangeline. But you know what, to each their own. It seems a lot of folks like Tangeline and there are plenty of other things for me to watch. I'd really like to see more of Viki. I liked her the other day. Dorian and Clint, OK, that decision has been made.

Anyway, I like Jessica and Nash. I'm starting to like Antonio more these days. I'd like to see him and Talia. I look forward to the end of the triangle, but I admit I want it to be Kamar in role with Bree, not a temp. So it has to wait until he's well. You know, I think McBain is on too much, but I'd like to see him with Blair. LOL. OK enough of my comments.

Just because the writing has been less than stellar on other occassions doesn't mean I have to be thrilled with the way Jess and Nash are coming together. If you are that's great, but I reserve my right to think the whole thing was awful. What can I say? I don't enjoy watching a little girl having her heart broken and that pretty much over powered everything else that was going on for me. I'm not even much of a kid person and that's how I felt. Plus all those scenes with Jess screaming out in the rain were just a bit too melodramatic. To each their own, but just because the show has been poorly written in the past doesn't mean I won't call out future instances.

I agree with so much with what you wrote. I always thought that Blair & John were prob the only way to make McNostril even remotely viable on this show. KDP makes ME step it up in scenes with her.

I like Tangeline but I also liked Cris & Evangeline. I guess I just like a lot of the characters on this show -- it's just the writing for them that doesn't measure up. Which means a HUGE waste of potential.

I also love Jessica & Nash and thought BW sold it in her scenes this week. I've never been Huff&Puff's biggest fan, but I do quite like KDLR so, for that reason, I am watching the Nash/Jess/Antonio with interest.

I agree with you here too.

If I cant have Tangeline cause tiic cant do the right thing then dammit let Todd be sexy and free. Let him find someone else for my sake and his. I need this. We have done this too many times to count.

DOING THE HAPPY DANCE THE SEXY TSJ IS STAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I love Jash. I hate this storyline. It seems to me that the writers are so busy trying to make sure Antonio doesn't look bad, that they are completely distroying Jess and Nash to do that. The same thing happened with Todd, Spencer, and Blair. You would think that after that disaster they would know better, but they are making the same mistakes over and over again.

I hate Tangeline. It makes Todd look like a weak, pathetic puppy dog. It makes Van look like a complete idiot. Both of them together are nausiating and revolting. They don't have any intelligent converations and there is absolutely no deapth to their characters any more.

I love Chris. I don't think that it is not Chri's place to tell Anontio about Jess/Nash. I think Jess needs to bite the bullet and confess. I feel bad for Chris he is in an impossible situation. I wish they would focus more on the conflict of the the characters and not the stupid plot points!!!

I love RJ. Giving Jamie the hug at the end.....swoon moment!!!!

I still want Todd and Blair, but I do agree that they need a break from each other. Blair needs a story with Dorian and Todd needs a story with vicki or Jess. I think that they need to rebuild these characters. Maybe Nov sweeps they can put them back together again.

I think the characters and actors are for the most part good. The writing isn't. You know, I'm glad TSJ re-signed. I also hope REG re-signs. I still think she will. I have hated Huff n Puff. Right now though he's not bad.

Really, I wish they would give Blair and John a try. As much as I love Blair and Todd, right now, they need a rest. The writing has made a reconciliation right now a little unreasonable. I want KDP to have a story. You know if people want Todd and Evangeline. I say give it a try. I don't know why a fan of the couple would want them with some of the questionable writing right now though. I really don't want the new sensitive, weepy Todd though. I think they can have that couple without making him the editor of Gentleman's Quarterly.

Wow. Jessica & Nash really do have chemistry to burn! It's all so soapy but it's also so... impassioned. I miss this kind of Love in the Afternoon soapyness. And that's what this adultery story is: old-school soap.

And when Jessica was screaming in agony in the rain, I literally got chills. That scene could have come across as totally hokey, but Bree Williamson really made Jessica's agony credible. What an impressive actress she is. Cannot believe I dismissed her as a blow-up doll when she first came on the show. I totally eat my words.

How is it that a fascinating character like RJ is barely on once a year? And a fascinating actor like TJS is not on contract? I just do not understand.

It'd is old school soap, except that Jessica really made her own bed here. Was there ever a compelling reason for Jessica to rush into the marriage with Antonio? It didn't seem like he was pressing her. Nash was pressing her against it. Making Nash and Antonio best friends is another example of chemistry but the story doesn't hold water.

Oh I so miss RJ. What a great character. You know you see this guy who leads a life a crime, but he is such a great friend and a really great family man. Man, when you talk about good soap, it's RJ. He is by most definitions a crook. But he is so loyal to Nora, Dorian, Lindsey and Jamie. His relationship with Hank was classic soap opera. That is when I liked Evangeline. That one scene years ago when Hank was digging into RJ and Evangeline put a stop to it. It was wonderful. RJ and Nora are my favorite friends.

I don't want to get into Higley bashing right now, but that is the type character that I want to see. And it requires an actor with the talent of Timothy Stickney.

Zara, I agree Jess should not have married Nash. But that is done. I wish it wasn't done, but there is no way around it. But Friday was classic soap and Bree's performance was chilling.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
