Jill is really coming off bad in this story. I'm just not really feeling her anger. I kinda don't care ... and I should.

Cane's really growing on me, though.

Loved Katherine today. Jeanne Cooper is brilliant. Her delivery is awesome.

Drucilla was on fire today. I love her. I do like her friendship with Sharon but I'm over their Phyllis hate. Grow up and move on. Sharon's no saint and for her to pass judgement is ridiculous.

I'm so sad Dru's going. Ugh.

And the Colleen/Adrian thing is so boring. Every day it's the same thing, as Vee said. Enough is enough. Either move the story a long or end it. And Brad is a moron. Does he not realize cutting off Coll's tuition will just do the opposite? LOL, he is a tool. I think he probably figures the "fear" of him cutting her off will drive her back into his arms and saying she wants her daddy to pay for everything ...

Colleen giving Brad the $5 was a classic, especially since he's the one who married money. Shouldn't she have money from John anyway? If not it seems like Tracy would help her out with tuition money.

Dru and Sharon have me laughing, even though I'm mostly on Phyllis' side. Their scenes together are always good. I think Sharon just needs to cut Brad loose and let him fend for himself when it comes to the blackmail scheme. If only Jack wasn't running for office, but I think Sharon should just tell Phyllis that if she wants to cause Jack a scandel that's on her. Otherwise Sharon is never going to be out from under.

I like Cane too. I hope he really is Jill's.

I'm loving Cane now too...I like how calmly and soft spoken he was when he wes telling Jill that even if she sought revenge, would it get her all those years back that she missed out in raising him...he was right on the money with that statement. Will Bardwell *cough, cough* also was having some valid points. It would all be a big court mess for Jill trying to get Kay to pay for her crime, especially if Kay can't even remember half of all she did.

Everything as a2sassy said is a finale for Dru/Victoria Rowell...last scenes with her family....the only thing I want earplugs for is when I have to watch Lily Valley girling her screams and wails.

Well, I think the story has been left open for her return, but if she left because she felt under appreciated by the cast...I'm just not sure what would change Victoria's feelings on that. I hope it happens though. The show just won't be the same without her.

I'm going to miss Victoria Rowell and Dru so much.

Sharon/Dru had me dying. It's obvious that Phyllis is a needy, SCANDALOUS b*tch. I wish she were the one rolling down a hill with a bolder tumbling after. A bully like her needs to be squashed like the roach that she is. Stock up on raid, Sharon!

Although, Sharon was being a hypocrite by spilling Colleen's secrets.

Ugh, Phyllis is such a bitch. Instigating all day, and then picking a fight at the end of a cliff.

Dru’s last scenes were so bittersweet; especially her scene with Neil, as they discussed their wedding, and even being a true friend to Sharon and having her back.

But then, watching her go over the edge…*sigh*….so sad.

Oddly enough, CK’s whinny melodramatics worked, as she watched her mother go over the edge…how traumatic.

CK did a good job with the horrified scream. I know that had to be awful to see your mother fall over a cliff and there's NOTHING you can do.

And how sad is it that Victor was gonna send Dru to Japan on business and told Neil he could go with her. That could have been their second honeymoon.

For the life of me I will NEVER know what in the hell posessed Sharon to grab Phyllis' phone while they are on a cliff.

The Victor/Summer and Daniel/Summer scenes were so cute.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
