Today's show was so so. I loved seeing Kim. But poor Kathryn Hays stuck in this dumb storyline. I hate that they are using her to prop boring Katie and Dumb Brad. Austin Peck needs the boot. His character is annoying and so is Katie.

The Adam mystery was good. But I am tired of seeing Gwen every single day. She needs a rest.

The Emily storyline is working because of Robin Matheson. If it wasnt for her this storyline would be a dud. KMH is doing a good job as well. LMAO at Emily...."Enter my King"....LOL :lol::lol:

Nice to see the WW offices again.

Wow...I'm starting to enjoy the Emily storyline AND KMH again. She's doing a great job with this and Robin Matson is just excellent.

I even liked the Adam story today, mainly because of Jade. I liked her going off on Gwen and Maddie. Although I'm not fond with any of the three younger actresses, the story had me hooked today.

I wish they'd stop playing Henry and Vienna so completely over the top. The "gotta have you here, bathed in moonlight" crap reminded me of Mike/Katie/decksliver sex. BUT, when Vienna rips into Brad, defending Henry, that I enjoyed.

Katie is a useless b!tch who needs to STFU. While I think Pecker is totally disposable, I love the idea of Brad backstabbing Katie. If there's anyone in town who deserves it, it's her.

Robin Mattson is the only thing interesting in the hooker story. Boy, I'd love to see her and Liz Hubbard doing scenes together.

Gwen/Maddie/Jade....snooze.

I really enjoyed today's show, it was really funny and full of Drama at times. Emily's storyline is quickly becoming the best storyline this year, KMH is just fantastic, and so is Cheri and Dusty. I liked when Jade told Gwen and Maddie off, I am sick of seeing nut Gwen and nut Maddie everyday though, they need a rest bigtime. Henry and V just make my day they are so cute together, JP did a good job hooking them up. Katie and Brad need to leave my screen I don't think it is funny I just find there scenes annoying as hell.

I so agree. They are way over the top but love Vienna telling Brad he was nothing...LOL. And why are they rushing the Henry/Vienna pairing? I like them together but man are they rushing it.

Me too. That would be fantastic!

Well to be honest I would love to have the two original Paul and Dusty return. They would make the characters more tolerable. I am talking about Andrew kavovit and Brian Bloom of course.

Here is Andrew Kavovit....ex-Paul

And Brian Bloom as Dusty:

Andrew is 35 and Brian is 36.

Good show.

I absolutely love Emily's storyline. Glad she explained why she's hooking, it's not about the money... it's the release. The outfit, the tights, the shoes and the WEAVE were hilarious. I would've seriously soiled myself had Elwood been her client.

Looooooooooooove how Jade makes Maddie and Gwen more tolerable. I enjoyed every second of Jade b!tching them.

I'm ashamed to admit.... Brad didn't annoy me. As long as he's not being goofy (and I use the term as loosely as possible), cutesy, charming or actin like a neanderthal he's OK. I'll go hide in the corner now...

    • In the 1987 episodes, Mary has wonderful conversations with MJ and Cheryl. This is a realistic family with believable dynamics. Mary's ambivalence towards Vince is played nicely. Denise Alexander is so good here. I don't know what happened that the writers or producers just decided to chuck it all away. I don't FF these scenes. The show had a strong family that could have had years of storyline and they did nothing with them. I really don't get it.
    • I can't speak for Sonni, but I thought Annie came off as neurotic from very early on. That's just how Cynthia Watros plays her parts, and the writing went along. I don't think Claire was mentally ill - they claimed she had a brain tumor, didn't they? I am never sure just why they made the effort given that she was leaving anyway.
    • @DeeVee Claire is a perfect example. So many women came to Springfield as competent, smart, and talented professionals. Then they’d attract a so-called “good guy,” get dumped, and spiral into complete chaos. What always strikes me is how clearly it plays like a male fantasy—yet it was written and sold to a female audience.  I'm not a content expert, but I don't think cis gendered women fantasize about losing control of their mental faculties in response to an orgasm. Similar to Holly's story, it seems repulsive, because I don't believe women fantasize about becoming more vulnerable and appealing to men after they've been assaulted.
    • I just watched some parts of an episode of GL where Roger has just been shot by Holly. Rita then admits to Hillary that Roger raped her. Kasdorf is such a fantastic actress. I wish there were more of her work available.
    • -- Alex Alegria has almost a full sleeve tattoo on one arm and a large tatt on one pec. I see no indication that the show is covering up his ink,
    • Didn't Carrie2 even seduce a minor? Ick. Oh, yeah, and she even tried to seduce Alan, but this was his post-prison era when he was trying to prove to everyone he had changed. It's funny that of all people he didn't go for it. Wait. Josh had an affair with Vanessa? Or she just thought he did? I know people always say "it's just a soap" but the way mental illness is portrayed on soaps (and that goes for pretty much all of them) has always been not great, especially PPD. They practically turned Claire into The Joker. She also was trying to seduce men. (I notice that now Mary Ryan Munisteri is listed as co HW with Ryder in the 1986 episodes, Claire has calmed down a lot. Never thought her GL career was very good but seems like she tried to course correct that a bit).
    • sss Ms. Tunie is a goddess. I feel all the anger, pride, sadness, arrogance, dignity, fear, love, and other emotions in everything she does as Anita.
    • You're right. People like me who stuck with her, did so because of her history. The show just skated her along with no story,  no goal, no aim. Right again! This is who I forgot before. When you describe her, it makes me appreciate her more. Thinking back I loved Mandy.
    • Maybe Guza is becoming Y&R Head writer and Jilly will be named EP! Remember CBS installed Latham as consultant and later Mal Young, both of whom took over the show. Of course, they each got credit during the consulting days.
