They acknowledged DC's death several weeks ago with John McCook speaking a little bit about her and then a montage at the end of an episode. They haven't addressed Sally though. I think they said she was traveling around the world or something.

You must keep in mind that writing off Sally would mean focusing on Clarke and CJ, two characters the writers couldn't care less about. Thats what it is all about. They haven't been using Sally for years, long before Conley was ill.
