Hey guys, some people are spoiler free so let's keep spoiler discussion out of daily threads or at least use spoiler tags.

I know that no one knows for sure but some may not have even known about what is being discussed.

I know Andre is spoiler free and others may be too so let's help them be surprised about things happening, shall we? :)

Well, as true Chick fans I think we have to get out the word, let people know the truth, so that we can FLOOD the show with mail showing how HOT this couple is. I don't think Hogan gets it. I mean, is he REALLY this stupid? Would he REALLY kill off half of the show's couple with greatest potential?

It's all too UNBEARABLE to think about!

I could faint...

It is sad, and for the love of God, I tried to not get invested in the character or the couple. For the first month that Nick was on, I wasn't interested. I never paid attention. Unwillingly, I started loving Nick and Nick and Chelsea. But when any writer compares a couple to Romeo and Juliet, things don't look good for one person. And the show would never kill off Chelsea. Nick's a goner. Mark my words.

Yeah, Phoenix. I think it's the latter for you.

Nick's donzo. Although I hate when people compare Hogan's work on ATWT to DAYS, but it's no secret that he brings on short-term characters. Nick could easily have been one of those characters. It make sense. Nick's brought onto the show a total opposite to Chelsea. He calls her out on her faults and tells her what no one else would. He bends over backwards for her and ultimately made her a better person. Now, Chelsea will fall in love with Nick and then BAM, it happens. It's a classic tragic love story that I have no doubt Hogan was gunning for. And he's succeeded!

I think it's best, no matter what he intended, to start the letter-writing campaigns.

I can't stress that enough.

the show must realize they have a GOLD couple on their hands. If we don't tell them, who willl? It's almost insane how hot Chick are. I mean, this is a dork/rebel chick story that actually WORKS and isn't an afterschool special. I just love it.

Fine. TRY E-MAIL. It's free. ;)

Surely none of us can object to a nice, healthy e-mail campaign? No postage charge, just fan support.

I disagree that the campaigns are ineffective, however.

If this were vets? Sadly, yes, you may be right, lol, but they cost BIG BUCKS.

Nick and Chelsea are cheapies, and because of that, if the show truly has the next "big" thing in Chick, then it is in their best interest to listen to the fans. They can get great story, ratings, buzz and everything from this couple -- that is cheap.

That's why I think this time, a campaign would work.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
