Todd/Blair- Loved them!!! "Maybe I'm not through with you"!!! That said it all to me- Todd is using Van to make Blair jealous. He was grinning whlie Blair was squirming. Loved that he side-stepped the whole kissing issue. I also loved the parting shot- "We're over, Right?!"!!!! I love the push/pull that is Todd and Blair!!!

Van/Chris- Chris stay strong don't take that cheater back!!! Chris is the man. As for the push- it was nothing, she went backward a couple steps!!!

Todd/Chris- Love how they push each other's buttons. Todd looked wimpy for not fighting back. I thought Todd would at least get in one good punch!!

Nash/Tonio/Jess- Jess should have been with her husband!! I love NAsh and Jess- but the writing sucks!!!

Rex/Mickey- I like them!! They are interesting to watch and I can't wait for the fallout!!!

John/MArty- BORING!!!!! Recast- MARTY!!!

Bo/John- I always love them!!!

Blair/Miles- Writing sucked!!! Miles is useless!!! KAssie looked beautiful as always!!!

Miles/MArty- REALLY REALLY BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great to see Nora the other day!!!!!

Miles seriously needs to have an explosive scene with Viki...up until then he will be dull and pointless. Sitting in a detective's chair is a pretty bold move when you are the new guy in town whose brother is a Bible-thumping rapist and you have a man-crush on the town villain. Not to mention that after 20 or 30 years of having a disfigured face he has no mental fears of showing his face.

At least Nora and Matthew's scenes were great :)

Cristian needs to let it all out - go to The Sun and write exposing stories about all the cheating vultures in his little circle. Although, I guess he couldn't do that since Todd owns the Sun - and Jessica's mom owns the Banner, so he'll have to think of another way to spread the word of how stupid Evangeline, Todd, Nash, and Jessica are.

I'm watching Friday's episode now...

Wow, it's funny how putting Cristian in scenes with Jess and Nash and Natalie in scenes with Viki makes both these characters somehow more compelling and likeable, even though their dialogue is the same sh!t, different day. Like David Fumero and Melissa Archer are stepping up their game with BW and ES (respectively) in the room with them. Natalie is almost sweet! And not to p!ss off all the Jash fans out there because I like them too, but Bree Williamson and David Fumero have this underlying love/hate, antagonistic chemistry in Friday's scenes. Especially when she grabbed his jacket and he shoved her hand away.

Wow, Jessica sure is finding lying to people awfully easy. That must be the Tess in her -- Old Jessica would have been babbling and crumbling if either of the Vega boys looked at her funny.

Speaking of characters interacting wonderfully together, I cannot get enough of Rex and Michael!

Michael: I'm not a murderer.

Rex (through gritted teeth): But you thought *I* was?

Michael: You were holding the scissors that stabbed the SOB nine times! Why wouldn't I think you did it?!

Rex: Uh -- because of my angelic disposition.

McNostril -- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Yadda yadda Spencer's killer blah blah blah hand on my hip brood brood. At one point, John yawned, coinciding with me yawning at the TV. Now you know how I feel, John!

*cough, splutter* Can it be?! Viki has the beginnings of her own SL? I love Dorian slithering all over Clint, and his eyes sure did light up when she contrasted her "fire" to Viki's "ice."

I like Vincent but his presence also makes me realize how much I enjoyed RJ and wish he was back on the show in a contract capacity.

The Tangeline scenes were ever so slightly contrived -- Evangeline has to take her clothes off at Todd's penthouse for a in-house spa massage? That's like asking for Cristian to burst in and find her in a compromising position! -- but I like seeing funny, snarky Todd "A-Men, sistah!" Manning. And they do have chemistry to burn, these two.

All in all, this show feels tighter, more fluid, better paced. I am really enjoying it right now! Too bad it had to end on a McBoring "cliffhanger." Oooo, previews! Monday's show looks like a corker! SquEEEEEE at Tangeline and... Dorian?

I'm still watching this week's but it has been great so far!

I also found it funny that Nash and Tess decided to get it on while the building was burning but OLTL has really been great. I can't believe how much I am tolerating... maybe even liking Antonio now that he is not huffing and puffing and even John McBain. John and Marty have some interesting chemistry.

Well, it was bad enough the other day when Cristian beat up on Todd, but when he shoved Evangeline that was that. I'm not a big Evangeline fan, but you do not shove a woman.

Cristian's actions are just unexcusable.

So your girlfriend kissed Todd....it's not like they slept together or anything. Get over yourself Cristian. Contrary to what you may believe, you are NOT "all that."

I knew there was a reason I couldn't stand him, and that's it.

He's just a big bully who pouts and whines when something doesn't go his way.

And after he shoved her, she should not go back to women. Let her be strong and say you are too violent for me.

Cristian just likes to use everyone like a punching bag.

Evangeline likes to be Todd's whore but then when she's called on it, she's offended that anyone would think she's being anything other than Todd's friend. It's no secret to anyone how Todd looks at and feels for her, and she's not an idiot - she knows he feels that way. She's being an idiot by leading Todd on by coming to his rescue everyday, though. I didn't rewatch the tape, but I don't think Cristian shoved her - she was in the way and he pushed her instinctively. It's not like he held her down and beat her.

I can't get over how good the show was this week. I loved the scenes with Nora/Rene and Nora/Mathew. Also Cris/Jash and Tangie have all been keeping me on the edge of my seat. Rex and Michael in the jail cell were a highlight too. I love their frienship.

    • Well, Josh was a horndog. LOL Yep. It was one of the first really weird things Reva did with her PPD. She became obsessed with the idea that Dylan and Sam should get married. Sam was only 17, and needed her parent's permission. Reva helped them leave town so they could go to a neighboring state where Sam was old enough. Ross, Billy and Josh stopped them, then Sam went to India to try and persaude Justin. Reva followed her and didn't tell Josh she was going. While Reva was gone, Josh advertised for nannies, and Harley applied. He ended up hiring someone else. But when Reva returned, she hired Harley because (in her weird mental state) she wanted someone she could trust with the kids (because she feared Josh was trying to get rid of her and that Vanessa wanted the children.). After Reva starts treatment, she asks Harley to stay until she's stronger because she's good with the kids. At the party, Reva starts going off the rails, insulting Justin and Josh hauls her to a private dining room to ask WTF. Reva starts confronting him about the "affair" with Vanessa, and he realizes she is weird. He locks her in the dining room and frees Mindy and Van from the ladies room (where Reva has locked them in). Van starts telling him that Reva attacked her and needs help.  Reva escapes out the window of the dining room and goes back to the party, climbs onto a table and starts a striptease. Josh gets her to stop, takes her home and after filling Ed in, decides to go to the doctor the next day. Reva then takes off and spends days running around town, coming on to a guy she thinks is Billy, Billy, Hamp, Frank and Roger.  Roger takes her to his apartment and takes nude pictures of her, which he tries to blackmail Billy with. He wants the deed to the land the Towers is on in exchange for them. (Billy had been left the deed by a sweet old lady who lost her home in the 5th street fire. Roger had stolen the deed from her before she died. After Roger took those pics of Reva, she saw him hide them, and took an envelope from the hiding place. She didn't realize she'd taken the deed and not the pictures.)  Anyway, Billy and Vanessa trick Roger into burning the pictures, claim the deed and at the Towers opening reveal that Billy owns the land and therefore the Towers. That's what led to Roger and Alex's breakup and Roger and Mindy's affair.
    • All the time they spent trying to make viewers feel sorry for Chad only for him to not even last that long. I wonder if they knew Richard Burgi was going so quickly. You're right about Josie replacing Cheryl. On paper, this should have made sense, given all the ties Josie had to the canvas, but I did prefer Cheryl. There was something very synthetic about Alexandra Wilson.  I suppose even if she did have some fans they were just so used to getting rid of people left and right, so she was more collateral damage. As you said above I do wonder what the plans were for Peggy Lazarus. I think AWHP mentioned her once telling Peter that Peggy Lazarus wasn't her real name. Maybe she would have been another Carl moll... Rebecca Hollen never did get her due in her soap roles.
    • So true...Hackney might have had a story on FC with Richard being an old lover of his, but reveals herself to be a Cartel member and blackmails Richard with something into doing her dirty work  LOL. But of course Richard had his hands full with the double trouble sisters Ms. Jones and Ms. Braxton that season.

    • Cat herself will be a stumbling block all her own as she vowed to Chad to stay away from him, thus redeeming her of her crime morally. Classic DAYS would have them gazing longingly at each other at Doug's Place or Blondie's, while Liz is serenading the room with a song aptly chosen to represent their feelings of emotional turmoil.
    • From what I just recently watched, they were setting her up to go into future stories. She was Emmy nomination worthy in the material I saw. If some viewers did not like her, the character could have been rehabilitated after that sick storyline. It feels like they destroyed a character for fun and then tossed her to the curb. Spencer had chemistry with everyone. I'm just retroactively angry on Spencer's behalf.  You're right about how Cheryl was often forgotten and pushed aside and I would take Cheryl over Josie. I think soaps need characters like Cheryl. Characters like Josie are way too common. Josie always got on my nerves.
    • CBS was back in third place in 1994/95. That was the season CBS lost NFL broadcasting rights which also cost them several established affiliates in major media markets. 1995 CBS was sold to Westinghouse and Les Moonves arrived. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox, but it was an epic failure and CBS was once again in third place.
    • I tend to think that Chad will actually listen to Jen (this time). And that will be the next stumbling block in their relationship, which will open the possibilities for Cat to seek another member of their love triangle... To iterate my earlier thought, I am also not a fan of the person Melissa Reeves, but the character of Jennifer looks so chic this week, especially in comparison to Hope (and Gabi).  That blunt haircut is a winner.
    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. Their connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters. All this talk of Jennifer being in the wrong regarding Cat is absurd. Jennifer is not being villainized in any way, shape, or form, she's just being allowed to actually be human, which adds odds to the obstacle of Chad and Cat eventually getting together. All inner conflict. Keep it coming!
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
