LOL, that Arabella story did crack me up. That seemed like such a Krystal thing to do.LOL And then the money went to the cats. LMAO

JSF, you better brace yourself, because lots of people in PV have sex in places they don't own. At least two couples that I think of off the top of my head (I'm thinking there's s third involving Jake) had sex in the hospital. It's part of soaps, and I think it's hot. ;)

LMAO the balloons were litering? You soooooooooooooooo missed the point. And for the record, the Trashbag, didn't write that episode. The wonderfuk Amanda Beall did. :D Have I mentioned that I want her to be HW?

Krystal named her baby Arabella just to get $2,000? That's it? Why bother? Krystal could've just spread her legs for a couple of truckers and gotten more than that in one night.

But, of course, she'd rather satisfy an entire convoy for free because, after all, the Carey Girls are just wonderfully GIVING people... which is why Krystal GAVE head to Babe's doctor so she could tamper with the pregnancy test.

The stables are like a classic soap mating place, though.LOL So it doesn't really bug me. Not what I'd have picked for a first time though. I want to see it, anyone have clips? I love a little knockdown, drag out, hot sex in the afternoon...on soaps...;). It's part of what makes them so fun. And part of the reason I haven't written a fic without some kind of smut in over a year. :D

Adian is amazing. It's so sweet that he remembered Leora. God, Di is a lucky [!@#$%^&*].LOL

Oh, I just watched the last sequence and that was amazing. I cried. AMC hasn't made me cry in a very long time. That was perfect. And all the Valentines were so sweet, and made with such love. Amanda making one for Harold really got to me, there was something so childlike and innocent about that. So very sweet.

I also noticed the connection between Kathy and Jamie, and Kathy and Tad. She seems to be drawn to them. It was very touching at the end, that Kathy was in Tad's arms, as they sent the Valentines up to heaven and Dixie. A tad to much Babe love, but that's okay, I'll make the exception just this once.LOL :)

The Ryannie stuff was lame. Not hot at all. Had a cheap porn quality to it. Blech.

And I am a tad pissed about Ryan not remembering Gillian. Granted, I didn't really expect him to say anything to Annie about her, not yet, but he was there with the Valentines, so he could have at least kissed his fingers and put them against a balloon or something. Send Gillian a kiss since he wasn't there to make a Valentine. But it's minor, I suppose.LOL

Episodes like this proves AMC is still there.... its a shame it only comes out for these special episodes. The valentines to heaven was so touching and I too was shocked at all who was mentioned. I was a bit miffed too that Gillian went unmentioned. Oh well. Great episode! Amanda L. Beall just rocks. PROMOTE HER TO CO-HW NOW!!!

    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. They're connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters.
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
    • My hunch is what you've described. JFP is likely back working on transitioning the show to a new studio and embracing new technology for its production model.
    • The woman who was the co-chair of Latinas for Trump is now complaining about his targeting immigrants that she thought were "safe." I also read a puff piece from yet another "insider" journalist who lives to normalize fascists - this one with a tech bro who was venting off the record because he thought voting for Trump was cool and would show up the Democrats and maybe we'd get Greenland, but now he's getting upset.  These people still support Trump, and Republicans, they just want to make sure they get credit for being respectable. And they will get it.
    • I really do wish someone could. Just a few characters in very simple backdrops, with very real problems that are just a little larger than life, like the '50s and '60s. All the characters having a level of dignity or respect. And their inner lives are what dominate the story, even if there are outside forces at play.
    • It's a lesson to never be loyal because once your use is up, you're shown the door. MSW was the only bright spot for CBS for awhile, and once they were back on top... they promptly sabotaged the show as a repayment for all that the show had done for the network.
    • The show made a mistake in not bringing in more McKinnon kids, specifically bringing back Ben. Kathleen was leaving, and while I like you am very fond of Sally Spencer as MJ, that didn't seem to be a common view. They also decimated the character in a truly sick storyline. So that just left Cheryl.
    • Between Gwen and Cat, the show often seems to side with those who cause lots of cruelty to Jack and Jennifer. I am half-surprised that the show hasn't brought Peter Blake back for more of the same.  I don't really know if there is a purpose for them in Salem now, but I do feel a sense of stability and rightness when Melissa Reeves is back in the role of Jennifer and back in the Horton house, in spite of...well, a lot of offcamera stuff we all know perfectly well.
    • I like to call her an FC-reject character
