February 5, 200719 yr Member Go OLTL, they have had several awesome period in 2006, is this for Todd's execution? Everyone downs on OLTL unecessary, but Dena is not doing half as bad as she was on DAYS and the show is a real ensemble.
February 5, 200719 yr Author Member Does anyone know which episode #9779 is? Thanks. Scotty found it in the last thread. This was the Friday, October, 6th episode: abc.com recap: John's family and friends gather to say their final goodbyes. Natalie clings to a shred of hope that John is still alive. Nash agrees to continue building a friendship with Claudia, who covers her urge to drink. Nash is thrilled when Vincent decides to invest in the vineyard. Dorian agrees to go to John's funeral with David. Adriana pushes Dorian's buttons. Asa is unsettled when Bo mentions Spencer and New Year's Eve. Asa becomes agitated when Nigel questions him about the mysterious photograph. Edited February 5, 200719 yr by DruRocks
February 5, 200719 yr Member Something like this reminds me how much my show means to me. I logged on, read the title of this thread, and my eyes welled up. Yes, I am a faggy gay boi, but I'm just so happy for the show! I have to say that I didn't see this episode, and I was sure that if OLTL won, they would do so for Todd's execution. I am very proud of the show and of Jill Mitwell.

OLTL deserves this credit and I hope DePaiva and St. John are nominated for some Emmys as well.

And as much as the Execution was a sweeps stunt, St. John and DePaiva SO deserve to be nominated. I would love if OL could ride the execution to a slew of Emmy nods; after all, it's not as though other shows haven't done likewise and reaped the rewards.
February 5, 200719 yr Author Member I agree that Kassie needs to be nominated. Edited February 5, 200719 yr by DruRocks

February 5, 200719 yr Member UGh they won for John Mcbain the boil of my pain. I wander why they did not submit the execution storyline. I really think for this year that was their golden ticket.
