Another week without a picture of Eileen Davidson and the caption "Return to Days!" It makes my heart sore.

And what the HELL did Farah Fath change her mind about? Please, Holy Father who art in heaven, don't tell me she's decided to stick around.

If that's the case, though, I so called it! I said over and over that Farah's talk about leaving the show was nothing more than an attempt to get her rabid fans riled up and mailing the studios, begging the show to do anything to keep her... that way, the show will think she's more valuable than she really is, and they'll offer her a bigger paycheck if she stays. I just know that was her plan from the start. I'm not a dumbass. Farah knows she'd never make it in primetime or movies. But she wants a bigger paycheck, and getting her fans riled up is just the way to accomplish that. And right when she gets what she wants, "Oh, guess what? I changed my mind, everybody! I'm sticking around! Now where's my fat check?" The last thing this show needs when it's in financial dire straits is for that overinflated ego to continue sucking money out. I see right through that girl. Ugh!

Well, I am glad that FF might be staying of course I have found that SOW is more tabloid then anything but since the show had plans to keep Mimi around if Fath didn't stay I'd rather have Farah in the role over a recast.

For the record, the article says she is still scripted to be off the show when her contract expires in February. But yes, apparently she did plead her case with the show's execs (just before they went on holiday break). It says anything beyond the end of her contract is up in the air right now.

Well then please, somebody get a shotgun and do a Cheney on that idea. She spends her time making these arrogant comments about Days and her fellow actors and actresses, all of which could act her off the lot even with one of Stefano's brain chips in them, and now, because it's rather cold out there, she now is begging to keep her f'ing job.

Maybe someone should tell her that when you put dynamite to those bridges, you can't rebuild them to make your way back.

Great post, Roman, and ITA. Farah just needs to be shown the door when she begs for her job back. IMO, if you officially decide to quit your job (no matter what it is), you shouldn't have the option of changing your mind later on when you realize you won't be getting another one. What really pisses me off about this is the fact that any dead weight that DAYS can get rid of right now they should be cutting, and TPTB should be taking this opportunity to free up some money by ditching Fath. I just can't stand that conceited, talentless shrew, and I want her gone like yesterday.
