Well if thats the case, these script writers should just quit because it just so happens to ALWAYS be their scripts that get tweeked all the time, for the bad.

LMAO! You said it! LMAO! Yadda, yadda, script writers don't have power and scripts are edited -- but that still doesn't change the fact that when a certain person writes a script, it nine out of ten times STINKS LIKE DOG SHIT!

It goes without saying. Scripts in ALL areas of entertainment are edited -- sometimes heavily edited -- before they are performed, filmed and viewed by the public. But just like we "don't know" about how many times a script as been edited by numerous other people, we don't know how many times they went straight to the stage and taped.

I've said it before -- when I can tell by the damn previews that Amanda L. Beall had something to do with next day's AMC episode, I don't buy the whole "don't blame the script writers" or "breakdown writers don't leave their marks on episodes" mantras for a second. Sometimes, you can just tell.

You said it Sinclair, and I wont even go as far as to say that I can tell who wrote during the previews like you can(damn shame, by the way :)), but I will say that it is either 1 of 2, Mark Christopher, or Fran Meyers (Newman), and that's just how it is.

Conversely, I've yet to hear a significant number of people say that a Patrick Mulcahey- or Michele Val Jean-penned script was/is just flat-out awful. And folks? Val Jean's writing for Guza, and Mulcahey's writing for the BOLD AND THE FRIGGING BEAUTIFUL.

What? huh? He said a certain person that sucks!! When the script stinks, like [!@#$%^&*], you can tell who wrote it, thats what I think R is saying. Patrick and Michelle are excellent writers, and their scripts do not stink.

To me, Frances Meyers and Mark Christopher are BAD writers. Point blank. I dont know why the hell I have to explain it.

I'd take Fran Myers on my team any day.

Toups, can you recall all the shows she has written for?

I'd like to see proof. :)

Predict the SW or BDW of AMC for this upcoming week. ;)

Maybe thats why I dont like her. She doesn't cater to my style. I dont/didnt watch SB, GL, or AW. I watch Days but she went thru Reilly and Higley for a minute.

No, Toups, Fran Myers hasn't written for GL; and no, Jay, I wasn't saying Mulcahey and Val Jean stink as dialogue writers. (The syntax on that sentence was awkward, though, so I can understand the confusion.)

By the way...?: Far be it from me to defend certain writers, or sit on some sort of pedestal and get all holier-than-thou with others, but..."old and tired"!? Dude. Don't you think that's a little harsh?

No, its' not harsh. That is nice compared to some of the [!@#$%^&*] I hear people call LML, and Reilly.Tell me the truth, is it ok for them to be called names?, and Im just playing devils advocate here. Michelle Lisanti is really old school, and the way she and Fran write their scripts- SUCKS. I always hear people say, go back to the way soaps use to be. Get the [!@#$%^&*] out of here!! I would NOT like for soaps to be written the way they use to be. Its 2007, and not 1967. Write the damn soap like its 2007, just write it GOOD. Write it, dont bullshit it like its 2007.

Damn, I was close. She was an actress on GL, I guess that's why I thought she wrote for the show.

I also think she wrote for Santa Barbara, but I don't have that in her profile. Must friend proof.
