On CBS.com they're credited as "Story Consultants", not "Executive Story Consultants."

Here's a screen cap from the credits from Friday's episode:

Speaking of B&B's credits: There were some MAJOR screw-ups last week...

First they credited David Shauhnessy sans G, than they mixed character with actor name. For everyone it says: Stephanie Forrester --- Susan Flannery but they also had Mykel Shannon Jenninks --- Charlie Baker (as the actors name)

I guess too much egg-nug for the behind-the-scenes crew... :P

Maybe both Janice Ferri Esser and Jerry Birn could someday find a way to return back home... Y&R.

Is this Arena Bell A Bell?

She's Bill Bell Jr's wife and she was once a script writer for B&B during the early days of the show. She was then credited as Maria Arena alone...

And it's really great to have a Bell on Y&R again.

Thank you very much.

My thoughts exactly. It's really nice to see that surname in the credits again.

I got that smae feeling too. And the snow did look so real. I thought it was sleet mixed in with snow

OK so I watched Y&R on SoapNet. There was definitely a change in flavor.... but it seemed to me more like strike flavor than classic Y&R flavor (in any case, it's certainly closer to the real thing than LML was.) Some of the scenes just didn't really go anywhere and seemed to be there just to fill time. Since this stuff was written at the beginning of the strike, it's likely that there was concern the writers would be back soon. I imagine Y&R will have a strike-ish, tread lightly flavor for a week or two before we notice anything really different.

Where did "Scott Hamner's 2008 previews from a few weeks back" appear?

They were given in SID in one of the December issues....

Hamner apparently gave them away to SID prior to the strike.

Scott Hamner though didn't go fi-core did he? God him being the show runner would be like Latham never left. He is just her lackey. I am interested about the comments regarding Y&R's slight change in the little things since the scab material began to air. So much so I plan to add it to my recording list this week and give it a go for the first time in 3 months.
