DAYS-Question: Was “Taylor Daucy” always Lexie’s boss?

I’m totally behind with DAYS - yet, still watching it although it’s my third soap and I’ve barely time for it... - and just reached after a ten episode marathon the show than ran on October 31.

Carrie is on her vengeance against Lexie and imagine my surprise when her boss at the hospital turned out to be that bald grey-beard Taylor Daucy from “Gilmore Girls”!?

Is/was he - forgot the actor’s name - a recurring player on DAYS, too?

Now that I’ve apparently entered into the Sheffer era I must admit than I’m not entirely captivated. The show is not boring but not that stellar either. I somehow miss the campy appeal with humorous yet classy writing achieved by Beth Milstein. I find it odd that EJ used to be that charming Englishmen and now is suddenly getting really dark and evil...

Otherwise, I’m glad that Sami is finally called for that [!@#$%^&*] she really is. Surprised that Marlena turned against her. But I’m also fed up with Carrie and Austin because Austin Peck - who seemed to be improved acting-wise - was downright laughable during his last DAYS... Same goes for that awful twit playing Willow. She has 'bad acting' written all over her face.

You mean Taylor Doose? Michael Winters was on before, playing a judge, but I don't think he played Lexie's boss before. At least I never noticed, and I'm a Gilmore nut.

If Marlena just showed Sami her tough love side, you'll know soon that she's not "turning against" her. She's doing what Sami needs, and it works - you'll see that too soon.

He's been a member of the hospital board in the past, to my recollection.

I don't recall him ever being on before. The last hospital board members I remember was that man and woman from the whole Mike / Ali / Carrie story. Winston and Lewis? But he never played it then.

Thanks.

Another comment on the episodes I'm currently watching (reached mid-November now...): Kate and EJ are still really hot. But how odd was John watching their making-up session in the TV boradcast car Kate LEND HIM. LOL!!!

Priceless, I always love me some Lauren Koslow. And Kate's Chelsea's role model - LMAO when she said that after her prostitution arrest.
