What a beautiful piece; it's nice to see someone give Julia the respect she deserves. This may well go down as the dumbest move in the history of AMC.

I agree - I was about to post this!

I know Cady and every other actor over at AMC is just heartbroken at the decision over letting Julia Barr go. Well correction, taking her to recurring status and Julia saying no. Kudos to Cady for writing this!

I've been able to tell that Cady is not happy with lots of the decisions made by the execs - and she has the same idea about how daytime should be like most of us fans. But it's unfortunately obvious that her, along with all the other actors, don't have much say on any decisions :(

Thanks Ryan for reading her blog entry on your radio show tonight! Great discussions tonight over this!

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. I still cannot believe that AMC is stupid enough to let her go. :(

Julia is a wonderful, gracious lady and it's nice that Cady recognizes it and shares it to the world. As much as I hate that Julia is leaving, I am glad she took a stand.

Wow, Cady's incredibly eloquent.

Hopefully, we will see JB land on another show. But I'm sure very few soaps would have the budget for her, and she may be too soap-identified for primetime.

I don't think Julia Barr is too soap-identified. She has been in the shadows of people like Susan Lucci and David Canary. I wouldn't be surprised if Julia Barr lands a big primtime gig, at least in a supporting role like Eva LaRue has done.
