I saw that....Joe makes it clear where he stands...even making a mention earlier about being a friend of Mark Foley. I am glad to see Pat Buchanan being more fair minded though. And Chris Matthews is ok....there's a lot worse then him out there....*cough* *cough* Bill O'Rielly *cough *cough*.

That's why I flip back and forth between CNN and MSNBC.

Now I watched all cable news shows last night and I thought Fox did great for being the so called conservative channel. They were very fair, very honest and very congratulatory to both sides when they won.

THey did not hold back in saying what swayed the votes one way or another. But I should not be surprised that LIBS found hatred in an otherwise perfect newscast.

I for one and kind of glad the Dems will lead one house and maybe both. You need balance. But I really want to see what they can do. The only thing they ran on was hate of the President which will bite them in the ass unless they have an agenda (and it was CNN that said they had NO agenda last night).

The other good news is just like they were saying, the Repubs had VERY strong candidates (moderates) in a bad year. They were targeted because of the "R" by their name and not what they stood for, that is distrubrig as I vote on the person, not their affiliation.

Another good thing is the races were so close in many parts that we are still divided. NOt sure if that is good really...but who knows.

Overall, congrats to the Dems, they worked for it and they got it. Of course it was nothing like the sweep of 1994 when they lost 54 seats...and losing the house after 40 years....that was the ultimate slap in the face. They still have not learned their lesson from that, but lets hope this is a wake up call for the GOP.

And now that Bush will not be the only person to blame after today.....should make 2008 interesting.

Rememeber Iraq was the only reason why Dems won....so the right can still go right and the left can still go left.

But with so many moderates being elected on both sides..lets hope that does not happen!

I voted for dems and repubs. how many of you can say that?

Or do you vote the straight ballot BS?

I am glad the Dems won. The Repubs did not take advantage of the gift they were given in ruling all three areas. Lets see if the Dems can keep the economy up like it is, unemployment down like it is, and stocks up. All the while figuring out how to get Iraq stablized and get the troops home. If they can do it, Lets see it.

So far, its been TROOPS HOME...but no plan. that is honest!

Sorry that you take it as hate? I voted for Bush, glad I did and would not change it. Does that mean I agree 100% with him? Of course not. I am for stem cell research. I do not believe he is. I was for the war in Iraq, but it was handled bad.

      I liked when Felicia was over the top and was more Felicia the writer than Felicia the mother figure. Personal taste as always. For me, Felicia was AW to me. She was one of the few constants on a show that was constantly changing.  RIP Denise Alexander. I always liked her on the show despite her storyline never reaching its full potential. The sad thing is I would watch that storyline in a second over so much of what happened on AW from 1986 onwards. Strangely, youtube recommended a AW episode to me last night that involved Mary comforting Scott about Dawn. I really do wish they had found a way to make those two characters work long term.

      Yes, I like him too. He is a good actor, and I agree with your comments about his personality. I also want to add, I think that he comes across as realistic and IMO sane. Yeah, he's done some bad things, but he seems pretty in control for the most part and not the least bit crazy. I appreciate that type of behavior in someone who can behave like a villain. And I continue to buy that he really does love his daughters. Unlike Leslie who seems to only use and mistreat Eva, I have seen Bill soften when it comes to his daughters. And I do believe he would do what he felt he had to do to protect them. His love for his children, helps make him more layered as a character. I really enjoyed his scenes with Dani today. I enjoyed the show today. I thought that the scenes with Nicole being comforted by both her parents including them switching out to comfort her were sweet and cute. I particularly enjoyed her scenes with Vernon. I love her relationship with her parents. I also liked Tomas/Eva scenes. He genuinely seems to care about her, and I am interested in seeing how things will play out between them and him and Kat.

      Dani really got on my nerves. Her own life is a total disaster, yet she interferes with everyone else's. What could she possibly say to Ted that will change anything? That will help anyone? And as you said, while she bashes Bill, she wants him back -- all the while knowing who he is and who he's been for years. None of these scenes are pushing me to appreciate Dani. -- OTOH, Bill got some very good shots in at Dani. He won that face-off. -- June is just a ball of cliches and stereotypes to this point. I hope this goes somewhere. -- Martin flies off the handle much too easily, but I did appreciate that he grew calm and subdued, and even sad, with Ted. -- I'm glad Tomas is pretty, because damn, that acting. -- I'm glad Derek looks so good in tight jeans, because damn, that acting. -- LMAO at Leslie gaining entrance to Nicole's house because Nicole wanted the front door ajar so Door Dash could leave her takeout.

      No, we would really do it.  Those pix were so famous! In early May 1970 Susan introduced Doug Williams to Julie. Her intent was evil. But, it backfired on her. Doug & Julie fell in love. Everyone knows the rest of this story.
