October 9, 200619 yr Member I do not want alan and shirley together. Why are they making shirley out to be the Crane pool and schmdt ho???? First she slept with the judge, then ivan who was her law firm partner-husband/ex, then denny, and she had something going on with the new guy Coho. Now they want her with alan. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Why can't they bring on a decent guy for her???? An why has alan barely been on, I want the alan from season 1 and 2 back, they are watering him down this season. I know its only 3 episodes into the season, but that can sometimes set the tone for the character for the remainder of the season. An michael j. fox guest appearances are very flat, I think it has all to do with who they have him paired with. MJF would of been better off acting with spader and shatner, not with the newbie.
October 9, 200619 yr Member Definitely don't want Shirley with Alan either. Bring in a good guy for Shirley. I love Candice Bergen and I want a good love interest for her.
November 1, 200619 yr Member I really enjoyedTonight's episode, and I love seeing Delta Burke on TV......... OMG @ the head at that haunted house...... That peeper is crazy as hell!......... I love Meredith Eaton the little person that plays Bethany, and how she just turns up in scenes..... I remembered Meridith from C.S.I.:LV........ Edited November 1, 200619 yr by Rhiannon
November 1, 200619 yr Member I continue to love this show. It is so wacky and throughful at the same time. I was sad that Daniel was killed off screen but I think he was holding Denise back. I give it until Feb sweeps until she's with Jeffery. Speaking of Jeffrey, I'm not sure how I feel about him. I don't want Bethany to turn out to be Denny's daughter but that was a literal "oh my god" moment. Only Denny. All-in-all, this show is going great but not as well as last year's 2nd half. I liked last year's Ivan stories, Paul's dominance and overall feel. But once they completely incorporate the newbies the show will get rolling again.
November 1, 200619 yr Member I love Delta Burke on the show too. She's great as Bethan's mom Bella. I hope Bethany is not really Denny's daughter and that Bella is lying so she can get Denny Crane from Bethany.
November 2, 200619 yr Member I love Delta Burke, I wish she could be a regular. I definantly think she can handle Denny Crane.
November 4, 200619 yr Member I'm still bothered by the Daniel Post/Michael J Fox storyline. I think instead of Lung Cancer they really should have brought him on with Parkinson's and highlighted Stem Cell Reasearch. I could just see the highjinks with Denny being in opposition. One of my favorite things about Boston Legal is it's characters acknowledgement that they are in a tv show. Alan, "If they are the newbies, shouldn't they have arrived in the season premiere?" One thing that makes Micheal J. Fox stand above many actors is his accessibility. He almost feels like a member of the family. Having him killed off screen followed by a highly unlikely black markets parts storyline has left a bad taste in my mouth.
November 27, 200619 yr Member Lincoln Myer might be my favorite TV character on any show right now. Everytime he says "Mr. Dirty Mouth" I can't stop laughing. Denny trying to talk about him behind his back by calling him a "creepy fairy" and Lincoln's response was just as funny.
November 28, 200619 yr Member I just started watching this show this season and I have a question. Has James Spader's character always tried to Out "Shatner" William Shatner's character? I mean on paper, they're dialogue is exactly the same. The guy with the shovel is hillarious.
December 6, 200619 yr Member I don't know if Spader is trying to out Shatner "the Shat" (hate that stupid ABC nickname) but they are remarkably similar in their zaniness. That is why the have the best relationship of any couple in primetime.. even better then JD and Turk's on Scrubs. They are both baffoons and outlandishly charismatic and over-the-top but they bring something to each other's character the kicks it up a notch. I'm personally loving this year's arc with Alan and Denny trying to woe Shirley Schmit and both dubbing her to be the most beautiful woman either could ever know. And I really want Shirley Schmitho to make a return.
May 17, 200718 yr Member May I Cut In? Dancing Stars Bump Boston Finale A little last-minute schedule shuffle has the two-hour Dancing with the Stars results show/season finale moving back an hour to Tuesday at 9 pm/ET, effectively booting the Boston Legal season-ender to May 29. (Seriously, does any other show suffer such repeated indignities?) Airing at 8 pm on May 22 will be The Bachelor: After the Final Rose. Linked
June 13, 200718 yr Administrator http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TV...Legal/800016952 Julie Bowen, Mark Valley, Rene Auberjonois and Constance Zimmer have all been let go from the show, sources tell me. ABC and David E. Kelley Productions declined comment, but a Legal insider confirms that "their contract options were not picked up." To fill the void, Night Court's John Larroquette is joining the show as a series regular next season, but he won't be reprising his Emmy-winning role from Kelley's The Practice. Instead, he will be playing an attorney from the New York offices of CP&S. Also Dirt's Tara Summers will be coming on board as a young associate. Finally, current cast member Christian Clemenson (Jerry) has been upped to series regular. Phew, that's a whole lot of change for one TV show. Thoughts on the big revamp, Legal fans? Sad to see Mark, Julie and Rene leave, but love that Larroquette is joining the cast. Larroquette, Spader, Shatner together should be good! And yay for Clemenson being a series regular. I had a feeling that was going to happen since he started to appear in more and more episodes.
June 13, 200718 yr Member I'll miss Julie Bowen, Mark Valley, and Constance Zimmer...... I liked the way Zimmer's character Claire interacted with Gary William's character Clarence...... I really grew to like Julie Bowen on BL, and will miss Mark Valley the most.........
June 13, 200718 yr Member Very sad to see Rene go. I always enjoyed Paul's scenes. I'd rather they wrote him off instead of dropping him. Bowen, Zimmer and Valley were great side characters but I can live without them.
