I completely love Kyle Brandt as Philip. He just looks so fine and just like Victor's son should. Sigh. I'll really miss him.

Brandon wasn't charming me today, but I'm still sold on him. It was not good to have him with Philip so soon, but it had to be, of course. Just a horrid day for the loft dwellers and looks like Shawn is getting the most emotional part of it, too. Oh, when Brandon was being comforted by Hope on the bench at the hospital, his resemblance to her is glaring. He certainly looks like his mother.

Bonnie's loud clothing didn't bother me like usual. The colors actually became her and whoever dressed her surely needs to keep her job. Good choice. I loved the earrings, too. Bonnie and Mimi have been the best ever the last few days. Bonnie is actually showing mother love and feelings for her daughter instead of what she can get out of what her daughter can get.

Nick and Billie, omg. Billie is so attracted and working so hard to be good. Heck, Steve felt like he was talking to me and I wanted to tell him I had no reason not to just fall into his arms LOL (since he was safe). He is that good. Chelsea is getting some interesting scenes in. Loved seeing the Roberts/Reed women together kidding each other along.

Why, why, why, why are they forcing Max and Stephanie in these insensitive/indecent uncle/neice scenes. Totally awful to have to remember this about either character.

I forgot to mention...it looks as though Mimi may get a bit of redemption before her exit. I'm happy about that because I don't think what she did is all that wrong, except she did it for the wrong reasons.

Kyle was really good today, and scary. The real Kirkakis is coming out...too bad we won't have that long to see Kyle act it out before he leaves.

I think Brandon will be good on Monday when he confronts Mimi. It was a bit awkward today, because he shared his first scene with Belle and Philip. But he looks so much better with Martha than Jason ever did. The hug before the commercial break was hot. I can totally buy Shelle now as more mature couple. His fight with Philip was more believable too. Watching him next to Kristian, they look like they could be mother and son in real life. Again, I commend the DAYS casting department.

Kate at the diner was priceless. Lauren could wear a T-shirt and jeans and she would look dressed up. I must admit, there was a lot more chemistry today between Billie and Steve, and you can tell the devious Chelsea will be returning.

Max and Stephanie are great as friends and rivals, but NOT as boyfriend/girlfriend. Their kissing and lovey-dovey stuff was icky.

I think I'm officially a Steve/Billie shipper after today. Maybe just a Nick/Billie shipper, but it's too soon to tell. And Chelsea is so going to use this to scorn Stephanie, and I can't wait.

I've been loving the use of the Hudson Street Diner lately. I wonder if they haven't been showing the Pub for a reason, though; Caroline and Shawn haven't been seen since late August, Sami's wedding.

I LOLed at the beginning at Brandon's delivery of "It's my Dad" with a shrug and keeps kissing when Bo knocked on the door. Still loving Shawn. I actually majorly hated Philip today, because Shawn merely wants a part of heis child's life, he's not going after sole custody. I feel for the dude, but seriously - overreacting much? A total WTF.

I really unsure about the new Shawn, but after watching his acting, I'm on board with this actor! He puts forth a lot more emotion and facial expressions than Jason Cook ever did.

Yeah I am sold on Steve/Nick and Billie. I don't want them long term but for now it's refreshing, especially when Billie is trying so hard not to give in. Loved the Roberts woman and Steve being the referee. The diner being back is great and I am glad they mentioned Kate being a worker there. The pub was used earlier this month Keith in scenes with Billie, Steve, and Kate and was also on last Thursday in J&J's last show when Bo and Kayla were talking. Chelsea is going back to her old tricks-you can tell and I love it. I liked Chelsea seeing Billie and Steve.

Max and Stephanie were the weak point. Again, they work very well as friends but not romantically. I can't wait until that is over. I like both actors but eww....

I am still loving Beemer and the Shelle hug was hot. He worked so much better with Martha and there was chemistry there. He also worked well with Brandt and was more believable as a rival. His resemblence to Hope is staggering and he has Bo's body so he works well as Bope's son. Brandon handled it quite well being with all those actors today.

I am loving the evolution of Philip. It is kinda like when we watched Lexie go Dimera. Philip is about to go full out Kiriakis. Oh how I wish Brandt would stay but Days has done so well with casting so I am not worried.

Bonnie and Mimi were pretty good today. Man, has Mimi's body changed since the Salem High days. If she could only act because she looked hot today and I haven't thought that about her ever. I am liking Bonnie much more lately and I loved the end with Shawn learning the truth via baby monitor. It was better then the usual "overhearing something as you walk in the door" bit. Bonnie trying to calm Claire down was actually funny.

Monday should be good though as we witness Mimi's downfall :D .

Overall, another steady week for Days.

Highlights for me this week were (in no particular order):

1. Bryan Datillo's performance (hopefully, this will be remembered @ Emmy time)

2. Cop shop scenes (especially noteworthy was the Roman/Carrie/John scene)

3. Brandon Beemer's seemless introduction (scary how much he & KA look alike - must be the jawline similarity :-)

4. Phillip's evil side beginning to appear (Brandt's performances have been so raw as of late)

5. Victor's return

So, I am seriosuly considering adding DAYS to my DVD schedule, first time I would be a regular committed viewer since 1999.

I've casually watched the show since its been on SOAPnet and, although this has nothing to do with Friday's episode, I am watching Monday's show and the men apparently have their BALLS on this show. FINALLY!

It just seems like everything lately is just so motivated by past actions and character motivations, instead of what suits the dragging of the plot for this week.

I can't imagine what will happen when Hogan Sheffer gets his behind in there.

The eppy was great barring the horrible special effects... Ugh sometimes DAYS learns sometimes it doesn't... How can anyone take the show seriously with red goop rolling around the characters on the end of the show!!

Otherwise, the show was great!! I'm glad Bonnie is featured more. It's pointless to have great actors with heavy contracts and not feature them!! Bonnie has like been featured more since JER left than when he was writing and she is his creation!!

I think Brandon Beemer is doing a good job so far.

Marlena's "dissapearance" is being written cool though it sucks because Marlena just came back... and she's been missing so much. Hoagie better make this one worth while!!

Loved Victor's involvement, please let it continue!!
