This show was GREAT. So emotional and written really well.

Whoever played that young girl who ended up being the person with the camera did an AMAZING job. She is going places.

All the younger guys were cute tonight...hope to see them grow up into something big too.

This was a great episode... it was so sad seeing what bullying and hurtful actions and words can do to a person.

I'm surprised that Joseph is still around. I thought he would disappear in the first episode.

Sunday has become my new Thursday. Race, Case, and Trace. All three shows were on fire last night.

Was one of the shooters played by the boy from "Listen Up" with Jason Alexander and Malcolm-Jamal Warner? This episode had some good performances for the guest cast. Without a Trace did, too.

And is it just me or has anyone else notice that they've cut back on using time period specific songs during the flashbacks? I did catch a couple songs that was played and I remember them playing Joan Osborne's "One of Us" at the end of the episode, but it just seem like there were fewer songs then usual.

Excellent episode of both "Cold Case" and "Without A Trace."

Glad to see both of these shows on the same night. Both had riveting plots and great performances by the younger actors.

Jerry Bruckheimer is a genious!

I noticed that too, in the past ever flashback scene had a song playing in the background... now there seems to be less of that. Maybe it's getting too exspensive to pay for the songs.

I watched Without A Trace for the first time yesterday afterwards, it was a pretty good show. I'll probably watch it again next week.

I watched Cold Case as well. Those shooting scenes were real graphic for this show.I guess that's why they moved the show to 9pm.I guess the storylines will get grittier this season .But overall it is still a good show.

Good show. And some of those younger/older versions of the characters were so spot on I wasn't sure if I was watching the same actors or not. :P

When they played "One of Us", though, I flashed back to Joan of Arcadia. I kept expecting Amber Tamblyn to pop up.

I like Joseph, the male Lily. I fully expected him to be around for some time since they went to so much emphasis in last season's finale to imply he was Lily's perfect match. Question is, will they be two happy peas in a pod or will they grow tired of being each other's reflections? :)

I missed the season finale why is Lily's boss pissed at her?

My memory of the season finale is kinda foggy, so someone else can fill in the blanks, but I remember that Lily got really attached to a case involving Joseph, going against procedure and putting herself and others at risk.

He was a drug rehab counselor and when he went missing days before he was to testify against one of the teens in rehab, he was believed to have been murdered. During the investigation, Lily started noticing eerie similarities between herself and Joseph. I remember that she took a photo of Joseph from evidence and took it home and put on her nightstand. She also took some days off from work and continued working on the case behind her boss' back.

Yeah that was the majority of it all.....

Lily took a special interest in this case, went against the rules during investigation, upset her boss, but in the end figured it all out....Joseph really didn't die - he was just in hiding at that cabin with his cat. They hooked up and are now together (which I'm glad to see).

Joseph was thought to have been murdered because they found a body in his apartment with its face blown off. It turned out to be his foster brother. The brother was the one Lily went looking for up at the cabin, thinking he might have had something to do with Joseph's "murder." When Lily found Joseph, he convinced her to keep quiet about it at first because he thought the killer would come after him. She agreed but her co-workers realized Joseph was alive from a security camera when he used his credit card at a vet to pay for his injured cat. Plus, Lily had called in sick (she never called in sick) so they figured out she was concealing him. Her boss gave her a very angry reprimand.

One other thing that was going on in the finale was they basically kept hitting us over the head with how similar this guy was to Lily. Lily became attracted to him even before she knew he was alive. So they've basically set up this perfect relationship for Lily. I happen to like them together and think they have chemistry but they can only be happy for so long before some kind of conflict comes up, which TV Guide indicated what that would be.

Former "Loving" actress Susan Walter was also in the finale (and looked like the guilty one). The actor who played her husband, who turned out to be the killer, is the guy playing Bernard on Lost.

Hmmm..liking the show. Donna Mills, ex-Paul...Scott Holyrod and Lindsay McKinon(sp?)...ex-Marah are all on the episode.

Ha ha! I just posted about this episode in the Random Thoughts thread. What a twisted episode. Donna Mill's Lauren was one cold-heated, twisted beyotch! She tried to seduce her grandson! And apparently did the same thing to her own son! Scott Holroyd was playing familiar territory since Paul's always had kind of a weird incestous vibe with Barbara. And Lindsey McKeon was with another older man. Remember Marah and Scruffey? LOL!

Today's episode had an awesome 90s alternative music soundtrack. I think it was all from 1996.
