Remos, I'm with you on this one. I agree with Nex & Hooked that the show can be seriously wacky and can drive me absolutely insane but, in the end, it is worth watching for me. I have stuck with these characters for so long that they seem real to me. And when things I like happen, it literally makes my day. For a show to keep me so entertained, they must be doing something right. Or maybe I just get addicted too easily. I used to love Desperate Housewives, but it totally went downhill to the point where I don't even watch it now. I love the actresses, but I just can't stand the rest of it. No matter how many times GH irritates me, it always manages to draw me back in. And I do love these tragic event things. My serious complaints are 1) all the SHOOTING gahhh and 2) killing off everyone. Besides that, I'm good And Hooked, I totally give a flip about your opinion!

I really like it! I actually thought that it was supposed to be cut off. It looks artsy. Guess who has finally been hit with the flu? Moi. That's why I've been on so much... I'm at home, on the couch, with my laptop and nothing to do for once! It's nice, but I feel like crap. My heart goes out to all of you that have been sick, I feel your pain.

Just to let everyone know, I watched (for the first time in forever) and Tracy nor Luke were on today. But a Special Report interrupted the last 15 minutes; a plane crashed into the Hudson River in NYC. Luckily, everyone got out safely and survived. A flock of birds, most likely geese, ran into the plane. How scary! Good thing everyone is okay.

Remos, I really need to read more of your fics. That was so cute. You captured both of them perfectly!

AHHH! What a kiss! I was first clued in that something good happened when I saw, at the top of the page I have bookmarked, that both Remos and Hooked had new avies that seemed to be from the same picture.... and I didn't recognize it. SO HAPPPYYYY! It was worth the wait! I hope everyone had a fabulous New Year!

What a great episode! My eyes were teary through the whole thing... it was so cute! I didn't mind the Spencers talking about Laura because the whole theme of the show is family and she IS family! Not mentioning her would have been strange. Alan & Monica were such a tease there at the beginning, I was practically jumping out of my seat. Just put on the darn glasses! Alan is so cute, they need to bring him back. I also thought it was nice that they included Hanukkah. Aww just a nice episode all around! And I had no idea that KS has such a good singing voice! If I'm not around, I hope that everyone has a fabulous Christmas\Hanukkah and New Year!

Thanks so much for the recaps Remos. You put so much work into them. I just finished DVR-ing it. Lulu was really sweet to Tracy; I love my TraLu! At first I thought Lulu was just being snotty, but she actually meant it. AWW. She is finally appreciating her. Tracy was pretty funny coming out of the bushes- "I HATE nature!" I will probably get shot for this, but I am not really minding Laura as long as she is not stealing Luke. I can deal with her as long as LnL stay as friends. I didn't know she had such anger in her! Luke looked truly torn about the situation. He was not referring to loving Tracy so as not to upset Laura, but you could tell that he did and was trying to work around it. Though I would rather Laura know that straight out.

Hey guys! I'm crossing my fingers for Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Anyone else freaking out as much as me? This is so exciting! The Kid's Choice & Scholastic elections resulted in Obama, and kids are likely to follow their parents, so I'm very hopeful! Remos, I agree, I have also noticed that GH has been incredibly watchable lately. I am really enjoying Robin's pregnancy storyline. And I think I would like Jason and Sam back together. Lucky deserves it after how rude he was to Tracy yesterday...

My candy would also mysteriously disappear overnight when I was a kid. It would end up with my dad on the way to work the next morning. I would like to give a thanks to everyone who regularly posts so much information on this thread. I have been not seen or heard for a bit now- I've only been able to pop in once in a while. You all are fabulous. I rely on the spoilers, recaps(Remos!) and clips(Nex!). What would I do without you girls to catch me up?

I watched! It was actually pretty good. Robin looks gorgeous. Yes, Hooked, they showed Eddy on the phone in that RIDICULOUS hat. And Remos, I also thought the "doctor in the house" line was perfect. I agree, I like that they had Tracy leave on her own. She gets jerked around so much; Luke is being selfish.

Hooked, are we talking medianet photos? I don't know what 300dpi is. I have a bunch of medianet ones that are big and good quality of the two of them. EDIT: checked properties, my medianet pics are 96dpi. 300?! maybe I can use a converter...

I just watched the whole show, and I don't know what possessed me to do so. Haha. I thought Luke and Tracy were really funny actually. I want something more heart-felt, but I'm sure that's coming. I've never heard Jane laugh like that before. She did this high-pitched thing, it was hilarious! Who else noticed the "Not my daughter, you son of a bitch!" line by Laura? Totally ripped off from J.K Rowling's line "Not my daughter, you bitch!" by Mrs. Weasley in book 7...

I hope no one already posted this or I typed it up for nothing! haha A Closer Look: Tracy Tracy finds a sloshed Luke in a Mexican cantina this week, and persuades him to come home. Jane Elliot gushes about her scene partner's return from summer vacation and going "back to school" herself. Weekly: Are you happy to be working with Anthony Geary (Luke) once again? Elliot: It's such a pleasure to have him home. We're like Lunt and Fontanne [noted stage actors Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne]; I don't mean the quality of our work, I mean the pairing. It is such a fine union, the two of us. We work on the phone, getting ready to work the next day. We'll come in early and work together. We so enjoy the process of acting together that we squeeze all the juice out of it we can. It's not that I don't enjoy working with everyone on the show; I do. But Tony and I have known each other and worked together since 1978- 30 years of acting and life mixed together, so it's very rich. I miss him when he's not here, and I'm thrilled to have him when he is. Weekly: Did you always know the Tracy\Luke pairing would work? Elliot: Oh, we always knew it. Tony tested for GH with Tracy because he originally tested for Mitch Williams, one of Tracy's husbands. We immediately bonded in the audition; we knew we were woven of the same cloth. Weekly: That's the professional angle; why do Tracy and Luke work together as a character? Elliot: Because they don't ask each other to be anything other than what they are. They're opposites, and they know they're opposites. They show each other a different way to live and they don't try to change each other. Tracy complains about his drinking and that he doesn't take care of himself because she wants him around. She wants him to be a better parent, truth be told. She doesn't want to watch somebody else do what she did. Weekly: What were you doing while Luke was away and Tracy was on the back burner? Elliot: Oh, it's so yummy. I just live my life like a normal person. I take care of my kids. I have one grown and gone, and one still home. I volunteer my time where I can. I get to have summers off, and then I "go back to school," although it's work, in the fall. It's a fabulous life I have. Weekly: Any other acting gigs? Elliot: No. Don't need 'em. This is very fulfilling. This is quite enough for me. I love being on this show. Weekly: You mentioned volunteering- for what cause? Elliot: At the moment, I'm working for Barack Obama- campaigning, going to swing states and talking to people; using what visibility I have to get people's attention.
