Greetings, all, from the sunny North. Starting out to be a great week, as the Canadian Geese fly overhead... Turkey is almost ready for the oven; friends who are joining us for Thanksgiving had a baby girl on Saturday, so we get some baby-luv here; dollar's at par, which means I can get educations materials for the kids at the actual sticker price; got to finally see a friend of mine who is dying of cancer, and she's STILL able to give hugs - very thankful for that; and no matter how you cut it, Tracy is going to be given something interesting to do this week. Add to that the math about TG's vacations, and the dry spell may be over for awhile. Also, in the category of appreciation, Lainey and Hooked, your latest stories were amazing (not that I expected any less). Am I positive enough for you, Ms. Q? I'm also hoping to be back in the BR more this week. I miss keeping up. Intentions are always noble, execution a bit elusive....

I watched the promo a couple of times. Seems Lukey is lashing out at the truth, not Tracy. I agree, she does seem soft. I'm hoping they'll instill some maturity into their scenes - God knows there has been little in the stuff (read: crap) they've given her lately.

Yeah, I'm still here. Sorry, I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to do more than glance at the posts. I have been reading, though, and I'll try to make an effort to be there tonight (I'm such a lousy friend some times!). Off to a Guide meeting. Purchased our Thanksgiving turkey today. Would someone please tell me how we got to October 2007, 'cause I think I've lost more than one month this year.

Just stepping in for a few to let you know I'm still alive. Husband's still out of town (that's the good news); off to Girl Guide camp this weekend with my daughter and 6 other guides from my unit (that's the okay news); couple who agreed to take the boys weren't even in town this week, and are still not back so I had to scramble to find someone to housesit AND take care of 3 boys from ages 2-6 (the not so great news). Stace, if only you were closer............ All I can say is thank God I'm a social butterfly, so my circle of possibilities was quite extensive. Hopefully something with Tracy will show up next week. I'm not even bothering to tune in now - I just wait for the clips from Nex or Colette. I miss all of you, since I keep missing you in the BR, and there's nothing else newsworthy. Here's hoping for a better October!

It would be nice to see Luke get jealous. It nothing else, Tracy needs the compliment of being in the "middle" for a change, rather than always the jealous [with good reason] spouse. So the 8th, is that when he appears, or when TG starts working?

I's here. Been reading, just not writing. September means start of activities, school, etc. And this year I've been asked to fill the roles of liturgist at church, so r/l is taking over ( how dare it). Also blame Lainey - she put me on to some Star Trek fic sites than are getting way too much of my attention (kiss to Lainey). All the best to your friend, Hooked. Hope Mom's poem brightened her day. I'll try to be around tonight, just can't make promises.

I have to admit, when I first heard that they were going to kill a long time member, Bobbie was the first person that came to mind. She really hasn't been used these past few years, and TPTB haven't even bothered to have her meet or refer to her ex-fiance, who is harrassing her daughter and basically killed one of her best friends. They only bring her out to prop the younger generation in their celebrations - not even their turmoil. Her latest contract was only for one year. That really said something. I feel for JZ, her marriage ends, now she quite possibly will loose her job. Not the greatest year for her. At least she has been business savy, and gotten a lot of other acting opportunities over the years (the movie you were referencing is already in the can, she did one or two days on it, according to her latest interview). You know, the character of Bobbie was the reason I started watching GH 3 decades ago. If she goes, it will certainly feel like the end of an era for me. No other entertainment media lets you invest in actors and characters the way soaps do. I also agree with the general discussing about Bobbie's death being more realistic that Skye's financial problems for bringing Luke into the mob war. As for Skye, if they are going to persue a financial problems storyline for her, that shows how myopic the writers truly are. She's a Quartermaine, for heaven's sake, and before that a Chandler. Adele Chandler left Skye her estate, I believe, and she's had a string of husband, some who've died and left her money (Skye isn't a new character to daytime, either). She has money in her own right, outside of Alcazar. Financial struggles don't track.

I was flipping through one of the soap rags at the grocery store yesterday, and I read one of them saying EWCBO was confirmed for November. Now, someone on the other board (aside from one of us) says that's not to be believed anyway. So I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut now, 'cause I don't have any inside information, and I truly hope I have no idea what I'm talking about. Glad to see Lunacy won, now what do I do to start the morning? Ms Q, Oh Baby! is great, as ever!!!

Yeah some of these are the ones I saw. I also read the notice about more than a bit of salt - I just assume that with all spoilers these days. The one at the end is new. A wonder how that will affect EWCBO - which, btw, has been confirmed by one of the rags.

I think you're missed your calling, Ms. Q, you should be teaching Statistics, not Spanish. I'm up again, after nearly 72 hours in bed waiting for my head to explode. I'm back. Sunburned and wanting some TQ conversation. I'm still reading, but anything happen this week. See MF has a new fic for prompt #55, have to saunter on over there once I'm updated. Edit: I see Oh Baby is posted too. What fun!!! BTW, that song was really cute (just wish I could get the whole tune in my head to hear it to music). Computer withdrawal? One of my first commands was to a kid to turn on the computer. Loved the lake, missed my 'puter.

Did you realize every outfit that attracts you is either black or red (spectrum) or to a lesser extent, white or green (spectrum), and all expose her decolletage. Just thought I'd share.

I'm around, after watching a painfully boring hour of GH. The whole Eli Love thing is ending, so that will be the next two days. No TQ, not even a mention. And my solution to the whole Sam/Liz thing is for them to be locked in a room together and throw away the key. Six months from now we'll see who's still standing. Recycled conversations are not my idea of a good time. So, fic writers, I'm going away next week..... will I have anything to read? (And I discovered that homeschooling really can be done anywhere. Exerpt from a conversatin this morning: "Okay, I've yelled at you twice already, how many more times will I yell before you lose out on a treat completely?")
