Lynn was lured back to daytime for Return To Peyton Place,but was taped in LA,where she was married at the time to Roy Thinnes. When tomorrow comes, what will it bring? Will it be Winter,will it be Spring? Will a prayer be answered? Will the sun rise for you? Be it pleasure or sorrow,we'll search for tomorrow... It's hard to say which couples were most popular or fell out of favor as there were so many writer/producer changes and it seems they all wanted to put their stamp on the show. Network TV being what it is,each new producer/writer had to make changes(not necessarily improvements) to show their worth. Nobody wants to hear 'things are going well,we'll just tweak her and there'. The original concept and characters were soon tossed aside. Nobody suggested bringing back the Donovans -I'm sure the feeling was'nobody wants to see the poor folks. rich and glamorous are far more exciting'

Ryder was just another in the revolving door of characters in those years.Why Carl,would you think killing him off made a difference? What is it with the name Ryder? SFT,ATWT and Y&R have all used it ,but I have yet to come across anyone with that name. It doesn't hold any appeal to me,at least.

Looks like this poster on YouTube is going to be sharing some rare stuff. Chris & Snapper never divorced and Bill Bell managed to keep them in story for several years without resorting to the usual affair story.I always thought the Sheila story could have played with Snapper & Chris years before it actually happened but psycho type stories weren't a part of Y&R in those days, In the 80's Bell started telling different storie than previously.
