  1. This is very accurate. Either of them would have been a one two punch out of the gate. A Heather played by them would have given "leave me the hell alone" energy moreso than "I'm happy to see you, brother" even with the softer dialogue.
  2. Dani's extreme guilt makes it seem like more than kissing happened.
  3. At the start of the show it was established that Dani married Bill at 19 and that they were married for 30 years so that would put that character at 50-51 years old. Not a common thing, but still belivable enough to be written in.
  4. Tomas' level of unbothered was off the charts. It might have been because the writers knew that Alegria wasn't up to playing anything more than that. Joey saving Abby was a major eye roll. He only did it to try and extract a favor from Jack. What was even more annoying was Vanessa exclaiming "you could have been killed!". Those two were easily the weak link of all the chaos. The stairwell lie Dani told Bill is going to fall apart easily because that's where Kat and Eva were actually trapped. And of course Hayley already remarked about Bill not being covered in dust. Honestly I am so disgusted with Dani. After all Andre has done for her she has the nerve to treat him like this. It's not that I was really surprised, but Colby really delivered big time with her scenes.
  5. Sweeps matters less now that so much viewing is done on streaming or on demand.
  6. Naomi lamenting that Jacob would be worried about her was such a self-centered line. That character has really been annoying lately. Speaking of self-centered, Kat was so horrible until she saw Eva bleeding. Izaiah was scouring the grounds looking for Eva, but where was Tomas looking for Kat? After all Bill has done to her it makes no sense why Dani wants anything to do with him. "Somebody's under the tree!" was so 80s-90s soap when the melodrama was high. Those Y&R characters are getting better action than they get on their own show.
  7. Jasmine is definitely too expensive for the show's budget.
  8. Vanessa is a total B-word. She is not a friend to Nicole and Nicole should drop her. Kat could have better handled getting Eva away from that reporter, but of course she had to talk down to Eva again. For the most part they paired up the characters for the crossover well. Tomas practically begging Jack for business was embarrassing, but that was clearly the intent of the scene. Hayley didn't need to take off her rings to talk to Kyle because I don't think Kyle would have really cared if she is married or not. Leslie being irritated by Diane's truth about seeking forgiveness was quite a highlight for me. She was so out of line bringing up Diane's past misdeeds. But Leslie did do a good deed by talking down to Anastacia. I am looking forward to tomorrow and hope that it is excellent.
  9. Actors love saying that anything remotely exciting they work on is the "biggest thing" they've ever done.
  10. I don't mean acting wise, I mean the way the character has become obsessed a case and at the brink of anger that no one can bring him back from. That's why I said the character as opposed to the actor or acting style.
  11. Jacob is giving EON's Calvin Stoner when he went off the rails on a case. If you've watched EON you know what I'm talking about. There are times when Leslie is being genuine and this was one of them. She actually does care about Mona.
  12. My mom was born 18 years after my grandmother's oldest son so these age gap do happen in reality enough where soaps can use them without seeming too unrealistic. Usually with soaps it's used as device with half-siblings and there's no indication that Joey and Heather are half-siblings.
  13. Dani hit Vanessa with a hard truth and of course Vanessa gets angry at hearing that. It is interesting that Dani and Vanessa had a conversation in the same episode that it was revealed that Joey's sister is the person responsible for Dani's son-in-law almost being shot. Whether writers are stringing together consequences to hit Vanessa will remain to be seen.
  14. My guesses are that either Leslie or Nicole get injured and Eva/Kat team up to help them. Kat can't stand Leslie, but I think she would rise above and help her if she was hurt, especially if Eva somehow broke through to her. Or Tomas or Izaiah get hurt, but that would be less compelling.
  15. Vanessa was so annoying acting as if Joey is so fragile. The guy is a criminal and is beyond capable of handling himself. I officially cannot stand Naomi. Her blaming Derek for his own death was foul. Even if she shouldn't have gone there she still shouldn't have been blaming him and bringing up him lying about being paralyzed, especially considering that Jacob would have been a goner had Derek not been there. The green screen background in the preview reminded me of when Sky and Raven would leave for a trip on EON. If your tech looks like something from 43 years ago then you should aim lower. Victor could have easily arrived in a less grand way.
