  1. I need to start watching Grown-ish.
  2. I saw that list. No Verdasco? Fucsovics? Fognini? As much as I hate to admit it, Andy Murray? I’m glad they included Tiafoe. He has a fantastic body. Coric, Dimitrov, and Tsonga are no brainers. Ha. Nadal might not be at his 2000s peak, but his body is deserving of praise. TBH tennis players are often super handsome, but relative to other athletes, their bodies aren’t that aesthetically impressive (to me). Certainly not compared to players in the NFL, basketball, soccer, rugby, swimming, or boxers/wrestlers/MMA fighters. That’s IMO of course, and those sports require different strengths. And what everyone values in men is different. But I’m not that interested in seeing Sascha Zverev or Tsitsipas or FAA with their shirts off. I love Novak, but he’s a twig. But they’re all extremely fit guys.
  3. Personally I’d prefer a clean break from the Showtime version. (Setting that show in a nondescript Pittsburgh was a mistake.) I’d love to see a new version in a diverse lively place like New Orleans, Miami, or Atlanta.
  4. RTD’s involvement is heartening. He’s a fantastic writer. I’m assuming this version will be more ethnically diverse than the earlier ones, but why Bravo? They certainly can’t have any explicit sexuality.
  5. Indya Moore is really good as Angel. I was surprised she has little acting experience. I watched the first couple episodes. I wish someone with a stronger visual sense directed the dance sequences. They are lackluster IMO.
  6. And more on Woody Allen.
  7. More about Geoffrey Rush.
  8. This is a weakly written piece (she isn’t one of Vulture’s better columnists), but many here and elsewhere have said this over the years. The full headline is “CBS’s Toxic Culture Isn’t Just Behind the Scenes. It’s in the Stories It Tells.”
