  1. If Matt Gaetz doesn't know that Captain Kangaroo has nothing to do with a "kangaroo court" and vice-versa, I could hardly expect him or his idiotic cohorts to know who signed and enacted the rules regarding SCIF hearings and when.
  2. It is. It truly is. Look, I'm sure Mark Zuckerberg "means well." However, at the end of the day, he just needs to 'fess up that FB's advertising policies have absolutely nothing to do with protecting free speech and absolutely everything to do with the financial bottom line. Politicians and others are allowed to run whatever content they choose on FB, with absolutely no regard for the facts, because, to men like Zuckerberg, they're still paying customers, as are those who click on them and share them on their FB walls. Les Moonves and Jeff Zucker could admit that, as bad as Trump was (and still is) for the nation, he was (and still is) good for their ratings. So, why can't Zuckerberg? Too many people, it seems, remain unwilling to admit that this is NOT "politics as usual;" that, in fact, the Trump administration represents an existential threat not just to our government but also to our entire way of life. To put it another way, we haven't learn a damn thing from 2016; and unless we don't wise up NOW and FAST, come this time next year, we're gonna be as bad off as we are right now, and worse. It seems like the courts -- that is, the courts that aren't willing to tow the Trump administration's line -- have been the only REAL safeguard we've had against these abominable people.

    Gross.
  4. Agree. The GOP really doesn't give a damn about the rules of law anymore. They just do whatever they want, whenever they want, and however they want; and if anybody cries foul, they just cry Hillary/Obama. The media never passes up ANOTHER opportunity to vilify Hillary. They're as bad as the GOP are in their determination to bring her down at all costs. Honestly, when will those people just leave her (and Bill, and the Obamas) the hell alone!?
  5. I couldn't see that happening either. Mason and Julia (and Nancy Lee Grahn and Gordon Thomson) would have been a much better fit on DAYS.
  6. Let's face it: even Bill Bell would have wrapped up this [!@#$%^&*] a long time ago.
  7. For some reason, @Vee, the photo isn't showing up for me.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they're wanting.
  9. Sure looks like her!
  10. WTF? Since when did Patrick Duffy have hair that long!?
  11. Yup. Nevertheless, LL and her husband could have avoided all this, had they just followed FH's lead and copped to a plea.
  12. Is it just me, or does anyone else think Parliament is just [!@#$%^&*] with Boris at this point? LOL! I was thinking the exact same thing, @JaneAusten! Great minds, lol!
  13. Yeah, I can't see Sherry Mathis' Liza behaving that way.
  14. When did S. Michael Schnessel succeed Peggy O'Shea as HW? Maybe that had something to do with the changes in tone.
  15. Good question(s)! I've wondered the same myself! I will give NBC credit, though, for not de-emphasizing (as far as I could tell) the Marshalls when the show didn't make an immediate splash. Any other network would have blamed the low ratings on the African-Americans and ordered them phased out.
  16. IA. Cruz and Eden were the show's "money couple." Once they were gone, the show was over.
  17. Yes, you could leave and never come back. Because, it sure beats the hell out of talking about Joseph Stuart.
  18. Yeah, I would have picked the girl who played DAYS' Megan Hathaway or Holly Gagnier before Lisa Peluso for Taylor.
  19. Or DAYS. She'd make a GREAT back-from-the-dead Marina Toscano recast.
  20. Typical narcissistic behavior, don't you think? She'd rather pin the blame on others than accept it for her own. That's the kind of [!@#$%^&*] we have in the White House today -- and unfortunately, it's the kind of [!@#$%^&*] we're dealing with (AGAIN) on SON at the moment. Thanks, @robbwolff! (Hope that answers your questions, @Darn!) Bingo!
  21. No, darling, you were banned. That's a fact. And you were banned, because we were as fed up with your condescension and stubborn refusal to respect GLBuzz board's rules as SON posters are now. That's a fact, too. I was happy to ignore your presence here until you mentioned your alleged Parkinson's diagnosis in another thread, clearly as a way to elicit sympathy from others (which, I am sorry to say, although it's no fault of their own, it worked). I know personally people who suffer from that dreadful disease. The fact that you felt the need to "play that card" sickens me to my core.
  22. I suspect GL beat GH for those weeks, because Genie Francis and Anthony Geary had just left the latter show.
  23. Bull. [!@#$%^&*]. You DO do it on purpose, Donna. You ALWAYS do it on purpose. Every. Single. Time. Only THIS time, you have the audacity to hide behind Parkinson's Disease, of all things. Your obnoxious behavior is what got you banned once upon a time from the GLBuzz board; and if there's still a God in Message Board Heaven, it'll get you banned from here, too.
