  1. About the same number of posts you put out everyday on this board. Yeah, I knew it wouldn't last, lol.
  2. I wish I knew, lol. I certainly would not have endorsed such a storyline if I had been in Aaron Spelling's or the Shapiros' position. Linda Evans (God bless her) had a hard enough time playing Krystle, lol.
  3. I THINK the guy in the suit is Jack Crowder/Thalmus Rasulala, who played Lt. Jack Neal; and the other guy is Peter De Anda, who played Dr. Price Trainor.
  4. IIRC, Barbara Bel Geddes left again before the show's final season, and the show explained her absence by saying she (and Clay, right?) had moved to Europe. If they hadn't been able to get her back after firing Donna Reed, they might've done the same thing with the character.
  5. AFAIK, they didn't. They really blew the momentum they had built up from the Moldavian massacre. Not just because the event itself carried little fallout (all that violence and bloodshed, and only two, minor characters are killed off?), but also the stories the following year (such as the Krystle/Rita storyline, IIRC) were just flat-out DUMB.
  6. LOL! Because I'm currently reading his autobiography:
  7. Defenders: "But...he has a right to go to a public place, such as a restaurant, and enjoy a meal." Me: "That's true. And I have a right, as a public citizen, to go to him while he enjoys his meal, and tell him what I think of him, too." As long as they didn't put their hands on him or threaten to do bodily harm, what's the problem?
  8. That, and I do think "white entitlement" also comes into play. They're white; they're well-off financially; and in LL's case, they're in the public eye. Ergo, they believe no jury would ever convict them.
  9. "Smoking gun"? Meet..."smoking butt-dial".
  10. And, thanks to your spamming this board, so are we.
  11. "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, she's free at last!"
  12. Which is fitting, since the possibility of producing another Tyler Perry should make anyone think twice before having a baby. IA. He's clearly made a name for himself, not to mention a shitload of money. Now is the time to help other, struggling, storytellers of color get their footing in the industry.
  13. I used to say we (African-Americans) will watch anything with us because to see us in anything is so rare.
  14. Democrats are entirely too concerned with not appearing impartial, which bugs the [!@#$%^&*] out of me. Why should we care whether we come across as less than impartial? Republicans sure don't! Yeah, but...after threatening her with jail time, the judge settled on a fine and a contempt of court hearing. Which explains why neither DeVos nor the DOE took seriously her threats OR the original court order to stop collecting loan payments. Because they knew no judge would be bold enough to do what was right and throw their asses in jail. We cannot let this administration continue to thumb its' noses at the law for another 4+ years. I don't even care if it means voting for someone like Bernie Sanders. We just have to stop Trump and his cronies for good. No doubt, though, the media will crucify Hillary (AGAIN!) for politicizing the man's funeral.
  15. As much as I like Buttigieg, I have begun to question some of his stances. And we DEFINITELY need to be ready for Tulsi. That was so petty of him not to shake McConnell's hand. I love it.
  16. Not necessarily. Stuart COULD be just hard to reach (out of the country, or whatever).
  17. IA. Sam could have returned for Ada's funeral -- Lahoma, too!
  18. LOL! It's people like you, @Darn, that make coming here still worthwhile. Wish I could say the same about all other posters. 😕 Karen Cellini was the Charity Rahmer of her day.
  19. That would mean she was fired AFTER the scene in the pool, then. Well, I GUESS they could have said Amanda drowned that night. Heck, they could've hired a stunt double to pose as her lifeless body (face down, of course). LOL!! (I better not say anymore, though. I'm loathe to encourage a certain someone into posting more random nonsense on this or any other thread.)
  20. LOL! Yep! In fact, I'm STILL wondering what the hell happened to Kirk and Sam on ATWT after they escaped from that sinking yacht (or whatever)! Or AMC's Kevin Sheffield after the explosion that levelled Holidays!
  21. Remember, though, that the last we saw Oxenberg's Amanda was when she fell into the pool at La Mirage. Unless Oxenberg made clear her intention to leave BEFORE that scene was filmed, I don't think there was much TPTB could do about it. Of course, they could've just...not mentioned her again after that, lol.
  22. When you can elevate the Shapiros' and Pollocks' material, you ARE good.
  23. I'm sure it's for something stupid like she was once spotted purchasing a bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup (when everyone knows that Mrs. Butterworth is more P.C.).
  24. Rep. Beatty hit the nail on the head: Zuckerberg DOES think this is a joke. He thought he could skate through this like he skated through the last time he testified before Congress, when he was dealing mostly with old, white, self-entitled farts who don't know what a computer is, much less FB. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the difference between a GOP-led branch of Congress and a Democrat-led one. (I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Black women do not play.) Did we even know this guy was running? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/rep-tim-ryan-of-ohio-quits-presidential-race-will-run-for-reelection/2019/10/24/989d8496-f67c-11e9-a285-882a8e386a96_story.html
