Last year she took Brit Maack, her friend since they were like 3-4 years old. I think her Grammy dress is just okay - it's more positive than negative though. I was hoping for a "Style" performance. I guess we'll see that at the Brit Awards instead. Also, if she was going to perform it would've been her fourth straight year. Most artists don't even get to perform two years in a row let alone three years in a row.

Taylor's twitter and instagram got hacked today and they said they had nude pics of her. This was her reponse. Anyway, she posted another great message to a young fan on tumblr. "1989" just passed 4 million in album sales in just 12 weeks - it's the fastest to reach 4 million since Usher's "Confessions" in 2004. It took "Red" and Speak Now" 69 weeks to reach 4 million; "Fearless" took 50 weeks; and her debut album took 125 weeks. It's going to beat "Red" next week or the week after.

I think those songs are the next most radio-friendly songs. She doesn't really put out any slower songs, so I'm kind of hoping she changes it up a bit and puts out Clean or This Love. But the percentages of her doing that aren't high. I think it will either be Bad Blood, Out of the Woods or I Know Places. The 4th and 5th single should be interesting since no one knows for sure and there's no big consensus. Blank Space and Style obvious choices right away.

Yes! Give in! Did you see this on SNL from a couple months ago? "Dammit, she got me!" - That's bascially all the new people buying her albums. LOL Fearless is great too. It won the Grammy for Album of The Year in 2010. Just go all out and buy all her albums. And yes, always get the deluxe/platinum versions. I love Red so much - it's a great mixture of pop, pop-rock, pop-country. I especially love the sad/heart-breaking songs on Red: All Too Well, Come Back...Be Here, I Almost Do, The Moment I Knew. And Begin Again is one of my favs too. It was obvious Style would be the next single. Taylor performed it at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show and it was one of the best selling songs on iTunes from the album. It won't be released until February 10 but some radio stations started playing it last week and it's already rising on the charts. I will be shocked if the song doesn't hit #1 on the Hot 100. And I'm assuming she'll be performing it at the Grammys. I'm so glad you like it! I listen to its entirety too. I think the only song that could be considered "deep" or "complex" is 'Clean' - I think that's lyrically the best written song on the album. I also think the lyrics for 'This Love' and 'You Are In Love' are pretty good for love songs. Same here. I did that when the album came out. It was, and still is, the song I listen to the most.

#1 in 2014. 3.66 million in 9 weeks. Taylor Swift's '1989' Beats 'Frozen' As Top Selling Album of 2014

You changed your avatar! LOL I'm so happy her singles are doing so well. She was always an albums artist first, and now she's both a singles and albums artist. 1989 has a chance to beat the Frozen Soundtrack for #1 in 2014 - we'll find out Wednesday. And I think it's going to beat her Red and Speak Now albums.

Don't know. I thought it was just a poop emoji. Taylor brought Sam out as a special guest at one of her concerts in February and they sang "Money on My Mind" together.

Yeah, I would probably die. LOL It's hard to get her attention though. I mean there's so many more hardcore fans than I am. A few weeks ago, this one guy on tumblr made a video of himself acting out/singing parts of every song on the album. Taylor saw it and loved it and said they must meet. So last week for the Jingle Ball concert, she flew him and his family (and other fans too) to meet her at the concert. Some people are just lucky. From Taylor's birthday party. Jay Z, Beyonce, Timberlake, and Taylor......the four biggest stars in music right now. Talk about a lot of power in a picture. And apparently Jay Z is a mannequin. LOL

Billboard Woman of the Year Taylor Swift on Writing Her Own Rules, Not Becoming a Cliche and the Hurdle of Going Pop This is going to be one of my favourite interviews of hers. She really shows her savviness and how much in control she has on her own career. It's interviews like this one where I always go, "Wow, she's such an impressive young woman." I did not expect Song of the Year so that is a pleasant surprise! Record of the Year nod was obvious though - I want this award most out of the three nominations because I think it's one of Max Martin's best productions.
