  1. That was a fantastic women's final! Back-and-forth it went until Maria pulled it out in the end. I hope tomorrow will be another epic match between Nadal and the Joker.
  2. I agree! The finale would've been perfect if not for David being alive. That totally ruined the whole reason for Emily's revenge. I hope Conrad's not dead. Niall dies again! I knew that was coming once Barry Sloane was cast in a pilot.
  3. That Street Fighter one is the best!
  4. "Godspeed." That was a great ending! I have to say that Henry Czerny is pretty good actor and is probably my favourite on the show right now.
  5. Just chiming in (I don't like to read too much about the show and stay out of discussion threads - I'm paranoid that way lol) to say this last episode was fantastic! Lizzie killing Mika was definitely a jaw dropping moment. Carol has become one of the most interesting characters on the show. I have a whole new respect for Melissa McBride now - what a fantastic actress. The girl who played crazy Lizzie is pretty good too. I think she'll have a bright future.
  6. I know. Y&R has the worst background music now....yes, even worse than Brent Nelson and Ken Corday's DAYS music. And music is suppose to be one of JFP's strength as a producer. Yeah right. David Nichtern and Lee Holdridge were there from at least 1992 to the end of the ABC broadcast.
  7. At Y&R, Jack Allocco and David Kurtz have been replaced by Sharon Farber and Rick Krizman.
  8. I had the same reaction when I heard the "Rrrrr" My heart jumped out for a split second. LOL Oh well, I think her next album is going to be great and I hope she'll get nominated again for Album of the Year in 2016.
  9. I can't believe she sang All Too Well!! It's such a Taylor thing to do this for her fans because I think this song is universally loved by us, Swifties. The song wasn't released as a single, or nominated for any kind of award, and it isn't well known to people who haven't listened to the album. I think it was a great way for Taylor to end the "Red" era by singing one of, if not, the best song she's ever written. I think for her next album (which I can't wait for!), she should release her best songs, even if they won't get that much radio play. I understand from a business standpoint you want a lot of radio play but I don't think Taylor *needs* it to sell albums. I had hoped All Too Well would be released as a single when the album came out but unfortunately that didn't happen. At least I got live performance of it. I'll take that. I'm a little bit sad she didn't win anything but I'm sure she'll get more chances. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBuMFmPO31U
  10. Way to go, Eugenie!!
  11. You need to link when you copy/paste. Such great numbers!
  12. Glad she's back! After the 1st run through, I like: Pretty Hurts, Drunk in Love, Partition, Jealous, XO. We'll see if the other songs grow on me as I continue to listen to the album. Haven't watched the videos yet.
  13. Yay! "Sweeter Than Fiction" got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. It's not going to win but I'm still happy for her.
  14. Which leads to the question, why didn't the record company promote it more? Did they not want to spend the money because they knew this album wasn't that great and that it wouldn't sell well anyways? And why didn't Britney go out and do more promotions. Usually when you have an album you make rounds to some of daytime/late night talk shows and perform live. I think she only did Ellen. I also think if her first two singles were better, she would've done more than 107,000. Maybe a change in record labels might also help with the new direction, if her current label isn't totally behind her anymore.
  15. Britney Jean only sold 107,000 copies, making it her worst first week ever, and it debuted at #4. I wonder if her Vegas show is even going to sell well. Maybe Britney needs to reinvent herself a bit and include more love songs, ballads, where she's actually singing. And include more songs with instruments instead of the usual synthesizer sound and beats. Of course Britney doesn't have the greatest/strongest singing voice but I always thought she was okay when it came to those love songs/ballads - I think she still has a lot of fans (like me) who would welcome this. And more songs with a catchy/sing-a-able chorus.
  16. I guess they're different types of "dancey" Britney songs that I like/dislike. LOL More of Femme-Fetale-dance than Britney-Jean-dance.
  17. I hated Blackout and thought that was her worst album....until now. Britney Jean is by far her worst album. I really liked Femme Fetale (and her earler albums) because it was more pop and I prefer pop-Britney over dance-club-Britney. While I hated Blackout, the album at least has "Piece of Me" and "Radar" which I still listen to. Britney Jean has no songs that I will listen to years from now. Britney needs to get back with Max Martin and Dr. Luke and let them produce/write the majority of her songs.
  18. I forgot to ask, what did you like about the concert?
  19. I figured that wasn't live by the way the editing was done. That's awesome you went to her concert too. I had a blast when I went - it's my favourite concert I've ever been to.
  20. ALBUM OF THE YEAR NOMINATION!!!!!!! So proud of my girl. Also nominations for - Best Country/Duo/Group Performance: Highway Don't Care (Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift & Keith Urban) - Best Country Song: Begin Again [Taylor Swift, songwriter] (This is one of my favorite songs so I'm really happy about this nomination too) - Best Country Album: Red
  21. I know! That is insane!! Way to go TWD.
  22. I still love the show too and watch it every week no matter who the host is. I think Cecily is great and is going to be one of the shows big stars and giving her Weekend Update was a good choice. I wish they would try to give Jay Pharoah, who I think is funny, more to do than just impressions. As for this season's newbies, I already like Noel Wells after one episode.
  23. Hate the song so I just watched the video with the sound off. It's a neat video and she looks good it in. They have a song together called "SMS (Bangerz)" and it's on Miley's new album.
  24. Really? I hope that's true. I thought he would do the majority of her songs. Now I'm a *little* optimistic.
  25. I hate it. There's no hook to it, there's no catchy chorus. I think it's her worst lead single off her an albums. I didn't like "Scream and Shout" and when I heard Will.i.am was executive producing her new album, it made me worry. I have a feeling I'm going to hate her new album just like I hated Blackout. I prefer Britney to be more pop than dance. I hope there's at least a couple of Max Martin/Dr. Luke songs on the new album. I almost always love their work with her.
