  1. I was really shocked by Lexie's death! I didn't know some cast members were leaving. I thought Mark and Arizona were going to die too. Next season's premiere should be really good.
  2. What a great season finale to cap off a brilliant first season. It's definitely one of my favorite first seasons along with, just off the top of my head, Dexter, The L Word, 24, Breaking Bad, Alias, Lost. Amanda coming back pregnant just as Emily was about to tell Jack was such a soap opera moment. That surprised me. Loved it! Nice fight scene with Emily and the-white-haired-man. Conrad's last scene with Lydia was good too with all that subtext. No way Lydia and Victoria are dead - that was another good soap opera scenerio. Ashley's such a social climber and it now seems like she's got a hold on Daniel. Can't wait until next season!
  3. Such amazing numbers! WTG WD!
  4. What an action packed finale! I loved Rick's speech at the end (this isn't a decromacy anymore!) and I think he's one of the most compelling characters on TV. Yeah, getting perfect head shots in a fast moving vehicle. LOL I liked that Daryl line too. Go Daryl! I LOL at that too. I had the same reaction too. LOL I don't read the comics, so I had no idea who that was or what was that last shot of a fortress (?). Don't tell me though...I'm spoiler free. What a fantastic season! I really hope AMC gives more money for season 3's budget. The show deserves it.
  5. Ah okay. I don't remember what Jenner said. Oh yeah, that last shot from above with the walkers coming was awesome.
  6. Wow! What an episode! I knew Rick had to be the one to kill Shane but I didn't expect it to happen during this season! I figured maybe it would happen next season. I was so confused when Zombie-Shane popped up. LOL But then I read the posts here. So the virus is airborne? And once you die, you become a zombie? Wow. That is one of the reasons why this is show brilliant! I also have to give credit to the cinematography and directing on this show. The scenery of Rick/Shane's duel was beautiful - the green grass, the fog, the light from the moon.
  7. I understand that Dale was the "voice of reason" but I am so glad he's dead! LOL I'm in the camp of there's-a-zombie-apocolypse-do-whatever-to-survive. I expected the zombie that Carl to come back into play but didn't expect it to kill Dale. I'm disappointed that this teen is still there. I didn't want Rick to save him in the first place, when they first met him. Zombies were coming and Rick was still trying to seperate his leg. Then Rick and Shane almost die because Rick wanted a safe place for him to be let go.
  8. That is awesome! I really hope AMC gives more money to the show for season 3.
  9. Geez. You'd think they do some fact checking instead of trying to be "the first" to get the news out.
  10. She was rumoured to be one of the new X-Factor judges http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/grammy-whitney-houston-x-factor-judge-simon-cowell-289410
  11. My favorite Whitney songs: - I Will Always Love You - I Wanna Dance With Somebody - I Have Nothing - One Moment In Time - The Greatest Love of All - When You Believe
  12. She had one of the greatest voices ever.
  13. Wow!! RIP Whitney.
  14. Great episode last night! I think my favorite scene was the Conrad/Charlotte scene with Emily eavesdropping. Conrad eying Ashley was hilarious - I hope that's foreshadowing too. I wonder what side Ashley will choose. A secret coming out at a party with everyone watching - so soapy. Loved it. I also liked Conrad's scene with his dad when Grandpa suggested they start grooming Daniel to takeover and Conrad was all, "Remember, I put the Global in Grayson Global."
  15. I didn't understand the point of the alt-universe episode. Can someone tell me the point of it?
  16. I agree with this. Loved that last shot of Emily after Daniel told her about the 'rape' - the revenge came back into her eyes.
  17. That was one of the best finals ever. 6 hours??? That's insane! Amazing play from both Nadal and Novak. The turning point of the match was definitely when Nadal missed the open court and had a chance to go up 5-2. Loved Novak's reaction when he won - don't think I've seen anyone celebrate like that. LOL
  18. The women's championship curse continues! Defending US Open champ, Sam Stosur, lost in the first round.
  19. Though it wasn't in flashbacks, I'm happy I got my Kill Bill training scene, and I want more. LOL
  20. That's what makes him interesting to watch. Every hero needs an antagonist and Shane is the perfect choice, being Rick's best friend and Lori's ex-lover.
  21. OMG!! That was one of the best episodes so far. What a crazy and sad ending!! The moment I realized that Sophia was one of the zombies when they started the firing squad on all those zombies in the farm, and I was like, "Holy sh!t!! I think Sophia is going to be the last one to come out." And then she did.......the looks on everyone's faces....Carol running towards her zombiefied-daughter, Daryl stopping her, Carl crying and Lori's arms, Lori telling Carl to "not look," and then Rick, the leader, comes forward, aims his gun and fires it. Notice that Rick doesn't kill any of the zombies until Sophia. The directing was also phenomenal! I have to say, even though Shane is the villain, I like him. I like his contrast to Rick - I also love the Rick/Shane dynamic. Shane takes drastic measures to get things done. After he knew Lori was pregnant, that was when he decided that the zombies in the barn had to be killed - to protect Lori and "his baby." I love this scene: Shane: Are you kidding me? You see what they're holding on to? Hershal: I see WHO I'm holding on to. Shane: No, you don't see. Rick: Let us do this, then we can talk. Shane: (yelling) What do you want to talk about, Rick? These things ain't sick! They're not people! They're dead! Ain't got to feel nothing for them because all they do - they kill! These things right here! They're the things that killed Amy! They killed Otis! And they're going to kill of us --- Rick: Shut up!!! Shane: Hershal, man, let me ask you something. Can a living breathing person, can they walk away from this? (shoots the female zombie) Rick: Stop it!! Shane: That's three rounds in the chest! Someone who is alive, could they just take that? Why is it still coming? (fires more shots) That's it's heart, it's lungs!! Why is it still coming? (fire more shots) Rick: Shane!! Enough!! Shane (walks towards the female zombie): Man, you're right.....that is enough. (shoots the zombie in the head) Enough risking our lives for a little girl who's gone! Enough living next to a barn filled with things that are trying to kill us! Enough!! Rick, it ain't like it was before. Now if you all want to live! If you all want to survive, you gotta fight for it! I'm talking about fighting right here, right now!! I also like and Maggie/Glen's romance. Dale has been annoying lately, which him trying to hide the guns and being all "you have to tell the truth". Also kudos to Bear McCreary's background music during the last scene. He's such a great composer.
  22. Training in Japan to prepare for her 'revenge'? Emily is so The Bride (Uma Thurman) in Kill Bill. LOL! I hope we what her training is.
  23. Love that the show is getting huge ratings. Take that Mad Men! Yes, I'm bitter about TWD and Breaking Bad getting their budget's slashes after AMC paying huge bucks to keep MM. I have a feeling Carl might die - the "Walt effect" from Lost. LOL
  24. I definitely think Christa is Emily's half sister too. But I think she could be Frank's daughter too, or at the very least Frank/Victoria had an affair.
