-- I agree about the Eric storyline. Ithink they took (another) wrong turn when they were on the right path. -- Will is a himbo idiot. So dumb. And although I'm no Electra fan, I don't blame her for feeling as she does about simpering Dylan, who's thanked Will for 485 times for his compassion. Then she hugs him AGAIN. I don't trust her at all. -- Ridge was insufferable from Monday to Thursday, but Brooke took the cake today in blaming Katie for everything.

Agree with all of this -- Seeing a judge talk to Mariah would have made the story better. Why not play those beats instead of having near-comatose Mariah walk all over town? -- The park cafe set is nice. I like it. Still, I find it absurd that people would sit outside in the dead of winter. -- Society always looks like it should be closing for lack of business. The GCAC is even worse. The place is always DEAD even though it's a hotel. That revolving door doesn't even get a spin. -- The extra in the booth at Crimson Lights was hilarious. I was bored so I kept watching him, and he kept pointing to the menu like it was special and that he had 100 questions for the server. -- You're so right about movement. Directors plant characters for minutes and scenes, and that's it. Deadly. -- The business stories continue to be a big fail. Characters meet and talk about getting the company back, but no one does anything. No lawyers, no executives, no nothing. Just "Victor must be somewhere doing something to save us!"

-- Great clips for this episode, with Tony Geary's excellence on display. -- Alexa Havins was wonderful today. Just superb. -- Still, I think I would have preferred the final scene to be with Genie Francis. -- I have to say that I'm not a fan of memorial episodes where people get signs such as candles or cards with cars or lucky shamrock chips. -- I think I'd forgotten how stunning Maurice Bernard was as a young man. Damn.

-- Bill took Hayley to the hospital for a HEADACHE? -- Mona has been given a huge glow-up since the show started. She looks good, but I'm not sure I like the change. They've done it with Jan, too. I think I'd like more separation between the haves and have-nots. -- The religious stuff from Mona was too much. Hitting Randy like that within a minute of seeing him? She proselytized like a Jehovah's Witness showing up at your house. -- And Mona knows Randy is a good man? What? -- 20 minutes after Bill makes a donation to cancer research, Madison gets a job offer? Uh....ok. -- It's hilarious that Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey's #1 guy is dumbass Randy, who he continually threatens and warns.

-- Jacob is undercover but still spends a lot of time at the police station and with other cops -- like his chief of police pops. This plasma story is already underwhelming, and it's getting worse. -- Naomi has more patience and kindness for Hayley -- who wrecked her parents' marriage -- than she does for anyone else, including her own husband. -- This show still has a major problem with criminals meeting in very public places. Lynette standing with Randy in the middle of Uptown is a joke. And why did he even need to see her? Nothing important was discussed. -- Also a joke? Tomas meeting with Lynette at the airport mall coffee shop. Why not at the office? And why is she getting so much time and energy from the law firm when she's paying for nothing? Oh, yeah, she "saved" Hayley. -- Speaking of Hayley, we're still getting no information on her mugger. Is this show afraid to assign a race to the bad guy? -- The Vernon and Anita scenes continue to be good, but Leslie was too big an interference today. No way should the Duprees tolerate Leslie to that degree.

I agree with all of this. I liked Rachel Boyd for 2 days when she was sent away, and then I was back to hating the portrayal. And now we have a terrible actor in a dragged-out story that seemingly has no purpose and is going nowhere. And that's the problem with this storyline and with the entire show. Caring only about "what it could lead to" is ok, but only when what we're getting now is good. It's not.

-- Slater is fine, I guess. I'm still a blockhead on breakdowns. None of them seem bad to me and I didn't know what's good. -- Danielle Paige's dialogue is still a problem, I think, not because she's bad at it but because her characters speak in a different voice than the characters of the other scriptwriters. Paige did it again today. She worked in cultural references, pop culture, slang, etc. The other writers do not go to the lengths she does, and it's obvious. I think the other writers need to do the same or she needs to pull back.

I'm bored, too. We had a lot of promising episodes for a couple weeks, but they're now wasting the momentum. NO ONE CARES about Eric and his lame designs or where the silk comes from. And doesn't Katie have a price point for her gowns at Logan? Why are we acting as if all of these costs wouldn't have been amortized weeks and months ago? Does all the designing stop because ancient Eric is "stressed"? The biggest laugh? Katie giving up Eric as lead designer while she's been pretending she cares about him. These Logan sisters are all disasters.

-- The Febreze product placement is so over-the-top that it has to be intentional. But going back to it 3 times in the episode? Just no. -- Dani seemed way too dramatic about reporting to Nicole on her concerns with Shanice dating Ted. Karla Mosley played her scenes today like she was on uppers. -- Carlton goes to ASHLEY for dating advice? What??? -- Hayley being afraid to return home makes no sense, even as part of her game plan. A hotel is safer? -- Caroline really kisses up to Hayley. I hope that's because she's shrewd and wants to score points with Bill, because otherwise I don't understand this level of compassion and closeness to Hayley. -- Bill is this reputational fixer in town, but he needs JOEY to find out who mugged Hayley? The one guy who will demand a return that's illegal and criminal? Damn, Bill is stupid. Joey, naturally, has everything just about figured out.

-- Chase is actually hilarious. Such an idiot. -- Lucas pointing out to Carly that Sonny is a criminal was my favorite part of the episode. When he looked over his shoulder and pointed at Sonny, I howled! -- Laura has the worst political instincts in the history of soap politicians. Wanting Alexis -- a disbarred lawyer who was in prison, among other messes -- to replace Drew is laughably bad, but so Laura.

-- Good Valentine's Day episode overall. -- Best-dressed in the episode: Ted in that red suit. -- Nicole made me laugh when she told Kat that it's great women can talk about skincare but men can't. Really? Gay guys who don't care about skincare? -- The white couple dancing at Uptown were hilarious. I guess the script said "Dance like white people who can't dance." -- I didn't feel sorry at all for Leslie at the end of the show. She not only spent VD without a man, she had a verbal beatdown by Dani and Shanice. Telling them to "choke on 1000 candy hearts" did not measure up to what they threw at her. -- Like others here, I need Leslie to amp it up. -- Vanessa looked like Elvira. That whole thing was cringe, and I didn't buy it that Joey would be so upset to be in the handcuffs, worrying about his enemies. -- Vanessa continues to show us what a ho she is. She's now wearing a c0ck ring around her neck. Maybe she should have tried some of this before the Golden Corral Casino Mobster killed her husband. -- All these hot and beautiful people on this show and we get frickin Joey who's The sub to a dominatrix??? -- That fireplace in Joey's place will always be a smh moment to me. That's trying way too hard. You know what isn't? The lighting on the shrubs outside the windows at Vernon and Anita's. That looked really good.

New headshots in the open are always good, but am I imagining things? Feels like they fit in a lot more shots than usual, making everything go by in a blur. I felt like I was watching the GH cast of 1000 flips. I'd rather see fewer heads in each open. Give everyone another second on screen, for God's sake.

-- Camryn Grimes has been good, but I'm so disgusted with the character that it's hard for me to see anything else. Mariah should be locked up by the Feds for what she did, and then she should be locked in an institution. An ankle monitor isn't enough. -- And yes I get it then it's a soap. But Mariah and Sharon walk right into the Chancellor mansion? No one told her to stay away from Dominic and family? I hate it. -- For me, Melissa Ordway has been doing the best work. I'm sure she's been channeling how she would feel if this happened to one of her own kids. I normally dislike it when Abby takes off on another character, but in this instance, Mariah deserves her wrath. -- I know they probably want Devon to balance Abby in mood and temperament, but in this case I really wish he had gone ballistic, too.

I don't think you need to apologize for anything. You gave an approximate date. Someone who needs more can hit the Google. I agree with that. It's all really aimless, with nothing that says "I have to watch tomorrow." It's kind of unreal as to how lacking it all is. This is streaming TV? -- Please get Susan off my screen. -- Please get Leo off my screen. -- If this is the version of Dimitri we're going to get, please get him off my screen, too. -- I'm so disgusted that this show gives us gay characters who are such ridiculous jokes.
