Really disappointed to see Curtis is the father of the baby. Is there really more drama there? Because it's just another baby we won't see unless we get more stupid custody arguments. Isaiah hasn't done much, I agree, but that's the show's fault. He's a decent actor and a beautiful man. They're wasting him, and now what? Meanwhile we've had months and months and months of Portia lying and making bad decisions and being thrown under the bus.

It was as bad as it sounds. Nothing sexy about it, nothing fun or entertaining. Gleb was in off-season condition, and it all came off as cringe. -- This Carter and Daphne insta-wedding is all contrived because the show doesn't want to spend a dollar on a real wedding for a guy who will move on to some other woman by summer. -- At least Zende was there as minister so that another Black person would be in the room.

That Nicole visit to Ted was ridiculous. Want to live your life? Then go live your life and stop making space for everyone who has an opinion or raises an eyebrow about how you dress or how you move. I actually wish Ted had shut her down with "I don't care what you do." Nicole isn't a whore, but I stand by my previous comments that I don't like this new version and the way she's moving. I understand it from a soaps POV, because there's drama there, but for me, Nicole already had her groove and didn't need to get it back. Dating two doctors she sees every day? She's messy these days, and I don't like messy Nicole. You're on point about Bill and Vanessa. I rolled my eyes when Vanessa explained/excused her whoring around by claiming her marriage was dead and that "Doug found another mistress in gambling." Girl. And VANESSA is the one Nicole turns to for support in her dating life? 😂 -- Who knew that Tomas would be smarter than Bill or Carolyn when it comes to Hayley and Lynette? That was not on my bingo card. -- Hayley had ANOTHER meeting with Randy that was a "Shoulda been an email" thing. She is so damn dumb. Randy rightly called out Hayley for the Lynette stuff, but meeting with Hayley doesn't exactly make him a brain trust. -- Maurice P. Kerry is ok as Randy, but I wish he'd cut down on the hand acting. There's a constant "both hands explain every sentence" thing going on, and it's distracting. -- Ted and Shanice are good together, but I already need some drama with them, even if it's morre Leslie interference. Hearing Ted tell Shanice "I really care about you" isn't enough.

I think Melissa Ordway has been the standout in the Dominic storyline. Something tells me she channeled this happening to one of her own children, and it's the best she's been in years. Bryton had been too calm and collected for my taste. I wanted a father to act more like a father than a bystander who's "concerned." I can't even comment on Camryn Grimes because I'm so disgusted with the way the show has used her in the past few years. Nothing about this makes any sense, and neither will all these people forgiving her for kidnapping a child.

I've already said I'm concerned about the Impaler Plasma story. Smitty pointing out clues on his yellow pad while he eats lunch in public with the undercover cop is not a good way to start. Neither is talking about guys getting beat up but showing none of it. And look, how is Jacob the undercover guy, anyway? Wasn't he all over media when he arrested Dani for shooting a gun at Bill and Hayley's wedding? THIS is your undercover go-to? Then they dress Jacob up for the streets by putting him in a designer fit and a cute cap.

-- I'm not a Dylan fan, and I don't see the magnetism and chemistry that others see. She's less annoying than Electra, but that's a low bar. -- 😂🤣 Deke hires Dylan to wash dishes, and 5 seconds later she was in a Pizza Palace apron for dishwashers. -- Dylan doesn't want to be seen, and 5 seconds later, Will spots her. 5 seconds after that, she spills it that Ivy put her there. HILARIOUS! -- Speaking of hilarious, the Carter and Daphne insta-marriage is a howl! Daphne called the wedding dress Ridge designed "the most beautiful" and said "I've never seen anything like it!" That dress is so average it's unreal. Another off-the-rack frock from Kohls. -- This show gets a hot gay character like Deke, so they decide to make him the town savior for homeless waifs. Make it make sense.

-- I prefer the voice RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) used today. When she's with Madison, she raises it and talks in this little girl voice that gets annoying. -- Why are people drooling over a "shirtless Greg Vaughan"? Kial did have his shirt off in bed, but we didn't even get a glimpse of his chest or back. Or much of anything. -- I love Nicole, but I'm not liking the public displays. I don't think that's Nicole, and I don't think that's even close to who she is. Flirting loudly at the nurses' desk? If I'm going to criticize Madison for her PDA at the hospital, I have to criticize Nicole. -- Nicole's outfits and her visits to Uptown? It all feels like she has multiple personalities. I know many people here love it. I don't. I think Nicole can move on and show out without taking away the class and acting out. -- I'm no Carlton fan, and he was a disaster getting angry when he saw Nicole with Kial. They aren't exclusive. However, I can understand why he was upset. Knowing someone is casual and open to dating doesn't mean you have to be OK seeing a woman you just slept with all over another guy. If we reverse the genders -- if a woman walked in on a man doing this -- we'd be upset FOR her. -- Anastasia and her granddaughter are hilariously awful. I'll allow it 😂 -- Healthcare at Garland Memorial is special. No wonder this town needs a free clinic. The wealthy walk in and immediately get a wheelchair, a private room, and a check-up -- all for a woman whose face is already healing. -- When are we going back to the mugger investigation? -- The cotillion stuff was fun, even if Bridgerton has nothing to worry about.

-- I'm down for Chase getting wild and kinky because he's been so Amished over the years with Brook Lynn. -- I know Nathan has very few fans around here, but I love looking at him and even listening to him. Can't help it, but the guy makes me melt. -- Cody and Tracy were really good today. Damn, JK and JE work well together.

-- You're so right about Abby. This show has missed so much drama over the years by not playing Abby as part of the family. -- Sharon and Burrows sounds good to me. I like Matt Cohen a lot, and if they won't put Sharon with Nick, give her a hot guy. -- I don't want Sienna with Nick, especially since she's dating his son. Also, I hate to be mean, but Tamara Braun looks washed out to me. I don't see her as a romantic partner.

I'm going to be pissed if Deke goes straight for Dylan, who I'm nowhere near as crazy about as some people on this board. The pizza eating was beyond hilarious -- so bad, yet so good. Isn't that what every homeless person does? Head for the dumpster and look for pizza? Not surprised Deke didn't finish the pizza -- can't overdo the carbs when you look like that!

-- Right now, I'm rolling my eyes at this show but still enjoying it, if that makes sense. -- I co-sign that Deke is hot af, and I love looking at him. Is this show going to forget that he likes boys??? -- Gotta LOL that you see a homeless girl eating pizza near the dumpster and immediately tell her that you'll take care of her. -- Dylan went from wearing sweats to dressing like she was a fashion model when staying at Will's. Now she's back to looking like she bought clearance items from Temu. -- That Daphne bridal shower was a howl. Daphne has no friends, and the whole thing looked thrown together by a production that didn't want to spend money on anything. And the dancers? Campy cringe all the way. -- No comment on any Carter and Ridge scenes. Those are always a crapfest that no one believes. --Even with all these complaints, I still enjoyed the show.

-- The writing for Chelsea and Madison is awful. Chelsea is a flighty mess, but Madison is even worse. This is a woman who supposedly pushed through YEARS of study and work to become a "leading neurologist," but now she's changing her mind every 5 minutes about her life's work? Because of a relationship that's months old? -- I never bought in the first place that Madison was next-level enough to get the Denmark fellowship. Why not just make her a good doctor? Instead she has to be one of the world's stars. They've also done this with Anita, making her an EGOT winner when saying she won a Tony and Grammys would have been more realistic and reasonable. -- And then Chelsea and Madison go to the airport mall coffee shop? Huh??? -- The police chief was needed to take Hayley's statement? OK. And is anyone going to ask Hayley or Lynette for a description of the mugger? His race? -- It's great that Garland's ER is able to provide private rooms for patients who've been hit in the face. -- I don't think Naomi needed to offer so much kindness to Hayley. I don't find that reasonable at all. -- Why is Lynette waving around that engagement ring? This show has the dumbest criminals alive. -- Speaking of dumb, these constant public meetings between Jacob and Smitty are ridiculous. -- Jacob as the undercover cop does not work. He's just not anonymous enough. -- I'm not sold on the plasma storyline because of the emphasis on making it all so cloak-and-dagger. Wouldn't a story like this be a bigger deal, involving more authorities? Would it be this difficult to uncover actual evidence, including this mobile truck?

-- I've grown to enjoy Cady on BTG. I think the camp and the accent work for the character. She has personality. I do not think she worked as Jennifer on DAYS. I never accepted her in that role. -- Regarding Peter Porte, I don't believe he always plays camp. I don't think he was campy on Y&R, and I don't think he was campy on his first DAYS stint. It's all amped up since his return, and these writers are idiots of they think Leo is their North Star. Now Leo admits he's still in love with Dimitri, even though he was supposedly madly in love with Javi and ready to be a dad? The character is a mess. So is the performance.

-- Jan says "Leslie Thomas has come a very long way." What is she smoking? I guess her role is to be the annoying busybody in everyone's lives. -- I thought Derek got the best of Leslie in their back-and-forth. I wish Shanice hadn't been riled by Leslie. -- The Thursday, October 2 on the phone. I mean, WTH? No one caught that? -- Hayley gets more hilarious and stupid by the minute when she chooses her meeting places.

We've complained plenty about the sets on DAYS. Most people have given up on those complaints because it's a broke ass show that's hopeless. I just wrote about their awful sets a couple days ago. At the end of the day, some of us think BTG has a sets issue. @Paul Raven made a lot of great points, and I think it's crazy to pretend things are great when they aren't. Gates is new, and more likely to make changes. I think some of us hope they're listening to viewers not only about story and characters, but about the look of the show. The sets -- to me -- are an important element on a soap. They matter a great deal. I've posted about the sets on every single soap thread. I understand that YMMV and that you might disagree. I don't see set improvements on BTG. That airport mall coffee shop is a disaster and Joey's place is so underwhelming it's ridiculous. I actually laughed at the fireplace location after I finished laughing at the Wayfair furniture. I also can think of a dozen sets needed more than a house for Joey. So, yeah, the ad nauseum complaints will continue, just as, I expect, so will comments such as "The lighting is so glorious I felt like Jesus was glowing in the room! Oscars for everyone!" 😂

-- This Stefano stuff is deadly. No one cares any more. -- Haven't we been through enough with recent actor deaths? Now we have to mourn again? Jesus. -- I had to laugh at the flashback shown on Friday of Marlene dancing at a ball with Stefano. Yes, the were tons of extras and it looked like the show had a budget. But the clip itself? Stefano and Marlene danced in circles. Then more circles. There was no other move but to spin in a circle. I was howling 😂 😆 😂
