Well AMC almost recasted Erica with Lisa Peluso when SL was ill during her Annie get the gun but didnt Its funny most temps I ve seen last a few days to weeks/months. ABC hardly ever temp recasts for a day that I can remember. I do remember the dude from Sunset Beach as Ric for one day on GH. It was at the Police station andif it wasnt for the VO, I wouldnt have realized he was there as Ric I think most shows now temp if its important to story Some shows even tape with temps and never use them (Alicia Leigh Willis as Days Chole) But back in the 70s it looked like they did a lot especially on Ryans Hope. There were a lot of temps there for a day and RH would announce it during the opening sequence
