  1. I loved so much about B&B this week. I really enjoyed the Taylor/Deacon/Sheila drama. I actually felt sorry for Sheila. I truly wished Rebecca Budig was playing a different character. She's just not Taylor to me and it's been what two years now??? I hated every scene Ridge was in. I can't stand him. I'm also looking forward to next weeks scenes with Will/RJ and Brooke/Katie. Brad Bell has multiple stories going on and I love it. I hope it continues.
  2. I finished up with this week's episodes and I must say, it was a really strong week. The scenes with June and Samantha, Lynette upping the ante with her blackmail towards Hayley, Leslie vs. Darlene, love in the afternoon with Martin & Smitty and my favorite, the argument between Nicole and Vanessa. Of course the Scooby Doo gang (Jacob/Smitty/Grayson) is laughable but I still find it entertaining. I hope we get a renewal announcement this week regarding the shows future (multi-year renewal 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾).
  3. I, too, am confident the show is definitely being renewed. I think we're going to hear next week during CBS' upfronts.
  4. I agree 100% with that assessment. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
  5. OMG, I didn't notice Martin was missing 😳 😳😳
  6. I'm in NY visiting and I just saw they added Lami (Izaiah) to the opening. So exciting 🙌🏾 🙌🏾🙌🏾
  7. While I totally agree everyone is entitled to their opinions some of the criticism BTG is receiving almost makes me think we're watching a different show. We're all aware of the budgetary constraints that all the daytime soaps must contend with. BTG is no different just because it's the new kid on the block. The team that BTG has in place is trying to avoid the pitfalls that the other canceled soaps faced. There are constant complaints about the lack of sets but TPTB are always a step ahead and new sets are popping up regularly. My point for this post is to say, yes, nothing is perfect but why drag the show for filth after 14 months when it doesn't deserve it IMO. Thanks and Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
  8. OMG, I was laughing so hard at Hayley's reactions to everyone wanting to talk with Bill. I cannot wait for her guaranteed downfall. I so prefer Nicole with Kial and surprisingly I really like Ted with Shanice. Jen Jacob has really grown on me. I really like Ashley and Grayson, too.
  9. Alex Alegria is not the greatest actor but he's not the worst. Ronn Moss was the absolute worst actor for over 25 years. He NEVER improved and I'll leave it at that. Things over the past week have moved things to a different level. It's like the gas peddle has been pushed. I watched Michael Fairman's interview with Clifton Davis, Sheila Ducksworth, Sean Freeman and Tamara Tunie. It really sounds like some great stuff is coming up and I can't wait.
  10. I really appreciate Errol pointing out the positive with BTG ratings, even though the show took a real hit week over week. BTG from the beginning has had way more total viewers than The Talk. I want CBS to announce a multi-year renewal this month for the show.
  11. OMG, I loved today's episode. From the character development over the past 13 months, to the family drama with the McBride's, to Joey having Hayley's number, to Kat getting Naomi involved with the Hayley shenanigans and Kat and Donnell bonding. Because I care about the characters today's episode was that more thrilling.
  12. I love to hate Hayley. She's a piece of work and I want Lynette to take her down. Finally, it looks like Bill is getting a clue. Hayley being exposed should be epic. I enjoyed seeing the Richardson- Smith's in family mode. BC's delivery has regressed to him sounding like he's dictating a speech, but I love their family dynamic. I'm still enjoying the show immensely and I'm looking forward to May sweeps and the Y&R crossover.
  13. I'm finally caught up on GH, having been two weeks behind and all I can say is wow! All involved must be commended for the execution of Marco's departure and SB temporary exit story. I'm sad Marco was killed off. I thought AA really started to hit his stride in the role. There were so many directions they could have taken with Marco but alas the writers chose this path. I just hope Lucas isn't backburned because of recent events. I may be in the minority but I like Britt & Jason together. He makes her tolerable for me. I'm looking forward to when Jason comes back. As for Nathan and his return, I'm honestly still not sure how I feel about it. I think his reintroduction was clunky. It could have been because of KS leave of absence but Nathan seemed aimless and the intrigue faded quickly upon his return. While I do like Nathan & Lulu how could they have Nathan seamlessly slip back into his life without more conflict and pushback from others?
  14. I feel BTG is more of a character driven show with a sprinkle of plot. Everyday we're getting to know the characters better and threads are being sown consistently. We've had the big reveal Eva was Ted's daughter, we discovered Martin's secret, we found out what happened to The Articulette's and Dana/Leslie being Barbara's daughter and now Anita's battle with cancer. Those are big revelations for a show that has only been on the air 13 months. What I do find odd however, is that there are only 19 contract players and 30+ non-contract players. Is that because of the budget? Is it cheaper to have a heavily recurring cast as opposed to having to meet contract guarantees? I do respect that the show is committed to the contract cast they chose with only two changes (recasting Ted and making Ben Gavin non-contract), I feel that at some point they should focus on the characters that are working and put those actors on contract (Shanice/Joey/Izaih/Grayson/Kial/Tyrell/Samantha/Donnell/Deanna and I want Derek back on contract). I understand the show is literally still a work in progress and they are doing a lot right but I would focus on the contract players and limit the addition of new characters for awhile. That would be my only real suggestion to improve things at this point.
  15. Thanks, Toups. I am really happy with BTG Wednesday numbers. I hope those continue.
  16. I wonder if we'll be getting a renewal announcement about BTG over the next couple of weeks, since CBS finalized it's shows for the 2026-27 season. The schedule will be announced on April 15th and I think we're going to hear something about BTG.
  17. I am happy for all the soaps doing well. Nielsen has never adequately presented data I thought was accurate but I will take this as a win.
  18. The tears were definitely flowing watching this episode 😭😭😭
  19. Wow, today's episode was great, because of the Dupree's. Anita broke my heart. Dani & Nicole at the club were the comic relief for me and the Scooby Doo gang were more interesting than usual.
  20. Yes, that I remember but he has been receiving on screen credit as Executive in Charge since the SONY demotion. I noticed in today's episode he's no longer listed.
  21. I haven't posted about BTG for a few days but yesterday's episode really touched me. The way TT and CD played their scenes were so natural and real to me. They were definitely the highlight. As for Dani & Bill they are 100% playing with fire but that connection they have obviously hasn't been severed, despite everything. Smitty & Jacob playing Scooby Doo made me chuckle 😃 😀 😄 Overall, it was a strong episode IMO.
  22. Yay!!! I'm happy it's finally happening. At the fan event this past August we were told all about this. Happy 39th Anniversary B&B 🎉🎉🎉
