  1. Thanks for the backstory @dc11786 on Trisha/Jeff/Janey. And the video. I've liked rediscovering the show in the past few weeks. No story on Loving gripped me as much as the murders, but there were some gems. It feels like it could just never find its groove.
  2. It's been heaven to get a break from Steffy and all her sanctimonious screeching. I can't believe she used to be my favorite character.
  3. I also think she followed Brandon and his new wife to Tennessee. I had wanted to believe they were all being mature adults and co-parenting. But obviously, there was more to the situation. Hopefully, the courts can intervene and force her into treatment.
  4. I think you're 100% spot on. The show is possibly keeping her on as a lifeline and health insurance. I'd hate for her to spiral further and go the way of Tyler.
  5. +1 Joss has negative chemistry. But she gets guy after guy while the others in the younger set have to settle for scraps of a story. As for KS, I've felt something has been off about her for a while. She was going on and on about some hack on her IG a few months ago and how she needed the FBI. It was so weird, but if what he's alleging is true, it would explain her behavior, and worse than I thought. I hope she gets the help she needs for herself and her daughter. Write Maxie and KS off the show and let her seek treatment.
  6. Ivy "It's not propah. It's not propah at all" Forrester became the most entertaining character out of nowhere. Can't wait for her and that plant to come back. I was rooting for Katie to talk her crap to Brooke. But I'm also tired of the constant weeping for Brooke's approval. It's also annoying that Bill gets a free pass for his part in hurting her. I've never been a huge Hope and Liam fan. But these two serve no purpose on the show anymore except for Steffy to huff and puff.
  7. And Portia's perfect bundles after being banged up in a car wreck. That made me roll my eyes and laugh. Other than that? I've got nothing. I know I should feel bad for Jordan. But I would first have to care about her. The actress is very monotone and doesn't give much. Portia being pregnant is another story I don't care that much about either. It's still a head scratcher that Isaiah is just fine with her being knocked up by the ex she's clearly still hung up on.
  8. I saw a cute throwback scene between Cooper and Janey (where Gwen seems to think he's abusing her lol). She was a breath of fresh air and it was nice to see a young, Black female character. I know she never reached the importance of Steffi and Ally but she had potential. The writers shouldn't have killed her off. Janey could've gone to The City instead of Steffi who ended up leaving anyway.
  9. ❤️❤️ I'm glad you got to meet her. I bet she's a sweetheart in person.
  10. Rick putting Michelle in the mental institution seemed to be when GL realized that OG Danny and Michelle had star crossed lovers potential. It feels very early on when the writers switch from Michelle and Jesse to Manny. It felt like one thing after another. But I went along with it since the chemistry is good. I love the character of Billy, almost more than Josh. I'm surprised he never got the leading man treatment. At least during the eras I watched.
  11. Congrats on your retirement. I hope you enjoy it. 😊 As for GH, it's enjoyable for the most part. There are some issues but it's the one soap I watch regularly and have the most interest in. The writers need to give Jacinda some bite. She's turned into a weeping willow. At least we know where Willow's old personality went.
  12. More sad news to start the week. I'm so sorry for Patrick's loved ones. He's being so fondly remembered, a mark of a good life. I really liked him as Austin on DAYS and Richard (before he became a total sleaze) on MP.
  13. I've been having login issues for the past few days. Chrome stopped working but for now, Edge is working.
  14. I love dark Willow, but I don't get why she blackmailed Nina, who already does everything for her. It felt like the show was doing too much to drive home the point that Willow is desperate. We know.
  15. Thanks for the post and tag. The Viki/Dorian/Victor story is one of the first stories I got into when I started watching. I really bought Erika Slezak as so many different alters and just hated Victor. He wasn't on the canvas, but look what he did to prim-and-proper Viki. Tori was my favorite alter. She was so chill and laid back. I lost it when Todd said she was acting like "white trash." Sad anniversary today: OLTL was canceled 15 years ago. The show was at its best in some time when the axe came down, IMO.
  16. I love that this caught on! This is the only time Ivy has been remotely interesting.
  17. Bless Lynn for refusing to let Lucy be just another generic character on the show. So many of them are soulless, either by written word or they just can't fill in the spaces. As for who Lucy's soulmate is, it's Kevin for me. I loved Lucy, Doc, and Sigmund. I hate that the writers broke them up and they barely interact. Laura deserved better than Luke, but she and Kevin do nothing for me. Speaking of Luke, he and Lucy had great chemistry. They should've hooked up instead of him and Felicia.
  18. Awww. I love Lynn and Lucy. Happy Anniversary!
  19. 100%. GH gets a lot right, but the treatment of the Black cast is eye-rolling at times. We don't need to care about TJ to see how he was erased from the canvas. Or how he barely mattered in a story about his own child. It's just as annoying to sit through Trina and Kai scenes, two underdeveloped characters who could be more defined if the writers cared. Portia and Isaiah have me completely lost. I don't know any man who would barely blink that his girlfriend is having another man's baby. I don't think he's reacted even once.
  20. 😂😂😂 Anna, Laura and Lucky too. GH has a thing for the waterfalls. I also didn't care that much about TJ, but the way he was sent to the attic was another example of how the show didn't care about him either. He was a non-factor in the baby story. The show was too obsessed with Kristina wailing. After the revolving door of Molly's, I do like this one. But it's so hard to take Molly and Cody seriously. Preteens have more serious relationships. Speaking of Valentin, it annoyed me the other day when Alexis acted as if Charlotte were just another teenage girl with Danny. That is your niece/cousin. She's family. At least GL addressed the elephant in the room with Tammy & Jonathan.
  21. Stafford used to be such a good actress but something has gone off the rails in recent years. And she's not the only one. I'll chalk it up to the weak material. As for acting I am enjoying, only Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox could get me to watch two full episodes of Y&R. The backstory of Stephanie not telling Malcolm that he didn't have a son doesn't hold much water. He's never been an outright bad guy and deserved the courtesy of being told. That was undersold in the scenes and papered over. It came off like a shrug. But here we are and I loved Vivica's energy and camp. Put her in more scenes with Audrey please. As for the extras in the scenes, it felt like there were only two customers at the restaurant lol.
  22. The Sheila fake out was hilarious, especially as the camera panned to Taylor's shoes. I love it when Bold commits to being absolutely ridiculous. Still, I'd appreciate a line or two from Sheila about how she's already "killed" Taylor already and could do it again if she wanted. If the Logan story were still going, the show could be cooking again. But Bold only seems able to juggle one interesting story at a time because I damn sure don't care about Carter and Daphne or the Elektra stuff.
  23. 😂😂 I have a headache over the way GH bludgeoned the point that Kristina and Jacinda are about to do the nasty. I wish the chemistry were stronger between all three, and Jacinda wasn't being played like a Mary Sue who has been tamed by a good man. But I'll take this if it means Michael snaps because another relative seduced his woman. Sidwell's gobbling of scenery is always amusing but I don't get why Britt and Cassius can't just tell Sidwell that Callum killed Marco. The focus on Sonny feels like a backdoor way to make him feel important on the canvas, and he just isn't anymore. I think that was the first scene they've shared in which they explicitly discussed his true identity. Before, she just gave him a funny look at the hospital. I guess they're still not that close if he won't rescue his own sister. How do the kids of ultra villain Faison become at the mercy of someone else? I'd think they'd have their own power base.
  24. Bold has actually been entertaining lately. I do wish that Krista Allen were still playing Taylor, but RB has nice chemistry with SK.
  25. Agree. I have all the sympathy in the world for KS and her medical issues. But she seemingly takes months off at a time for a role that could be recast or simply written off. Maxie's recent blink and you miss it return to GH added nothing of value to the story. I like Anna but the character has been so watered down. It would've been cool if she had been mentoring Emma into the WSB. Serena Baldwin and Michael would be a good match. Unless there's another daughter I'm forgetting. I wouldn't mind if Lucy and Kevin reunited. I always loved them together.
