  1. It really is, isn't it? And she does not look it at all. Lucky lady!
  2. I appreciate TPTB at General Hospital honouring its veteran cast and characters, but, Reilly's passing is definitely being given the proper send off. Does remind me of the one-off appearance of Serena Baldwin.
  3. I wouldn't call it honouring, but the passing of Susan Brown? Maybe not as intricate as they're doing for John Reilly, but....
  4. Not the song I would've liked to have seen achieve this feat, but it's overdue for Dua.
  5. SO happy with this decision. Organized Crime is a fantastic spin-off.
  6. But I could easily have seen Deveney return, after severe facial reconstructions, and try to trick the family again, especially after Stephanie's death.
  7. I think it's a smart decision IF The CW does it right, however, my relationship with The CW is very... tumultuous, and, in comparison to The WB, it lacks.
  8. The Deveney Dixon storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful was dropped, and, I don't understand why, because it was brilliant.
  9. I don't understand the Melissa Ordway hate (and also don't need endless quotes explaining why you are hate her, either). But, not having the character of Chance there is a glaring oversight, especially when I am sure Justin Gaston would happily step back in. More proof Anthony Morina and Josh Griffith are not the ones to be steering this ship, and never have.
  10. No offense, but, I don't blame the other wives for not wanting to attend. Hell, I wouldn't even want to attend that sham of a ceremony.
  11. Cruz and Eden are the one thing about Santa Barbara I don't understand the allure of.
  12. I intend to watch this series. Dying to do it, actually.
  13. Several sources are now stating she hasn't quit, despite removing housewives from her bio. Considering she pissed people off within minutes of arriving at their home I would imagine she's the one person drama revolves around. If I am being honest, the All Stars cast is boring AF!
  14. The first year there were a lot of mistakes made; I'm all the way into the 700-level episodes, and it has its upswings and downslides.
  15. Thank you! I've enjoyed doing it over the years and have loved getting production back up, and really find my writing has improved so much.
  16. I do! Yes! I began in 2009, following the finale of Guiding Light and the cancellation of As the World Turns, and felt inspired by those two soaps, which hold my earliest memories of watching daytime soap operas. I found a now-defunct text-based soap opera and fell intrigued by it. Afterwards, I discovered a community of writers (now defunct as well), and immediately began planning my own soap, entitled Liberty City. Taking inspiration of the two former soaps, I began to create and become inspired by how creatively freeing the process actually became fo me. Liberty City premiered in February 2010, with the tag line of "where drama meets love." Admittedly, while the concepts were solid, the execution of the first season was quite sh*t, but, I give myself a break as I was writing for the first-time ever, so green is came across. The series centered around two main families: the Johnsons and the Smithsons, as well as the families that connected to them, as well as other b-set families. Choosing some of my favourite daytime alumni to represent the roles I had written, I featured female and male characters, spanning all different ethnicities and backgrounds. In 2013, I stopped producing the series following the loss of my site host, and continued attempts were made to relaunch the serial. I released the fifth season premiere in 2019 and the following year, published a writer's cut of the episode. This year, I continued the fifth season and am continuing to produce episodes.
  17. One Life to Live is the one soap I could never get into. I tried to watch it, several times, and it just could not hold my interest. Admittedly, in watching older clips online, it doe seem more interesting then, but, definitely not my cup of tea. I began watching Sunset Beach online in 2019, and when episodes disappeared I went to Santa Barbara. When I saw that Beach had returned, in going back, I was in awe at how off it actually was. I'm shocked. Hollyoaks, to me, is incredible. For a half-hour soap they really put production and value into their stories, as well as the overall canvas.
  18. Under the assumption, like most, that Jackée Harry was always billed as a series regular. As for the other part of the news... meh.
  19. I am not quite sure, however, I am feeling positive it was at the end of her run on Days of Our Lives prior to her return to The Young and the Restless.
  20. Got too distracted by a young Scott Bryce.
  21. I know Sterling K. Brown and Kristen Bell auditioned for CBS soaps, multiple times, per the casting directors' interview with The Locher Room. In 2008, Cady McClain (ex-Jennifer, DAYS; ex-Dixie, AMC et al) was up for the role of Harley Cooper, GL. Dylan Bruce (ex-Chris, ATWT), Gale Harold (Queer as Folk) and Jason Lewis (Sex and the City) auditioned and read for the role of Adam Newman before Justin Hartley was cast. Before being cast as Katie on As the World Turns, Terri Conn previously auditioned for the role of Georgia; the role eventually went to Jaime Dudney. Jane Elliot (ex-Tracy, GH) was initially selected for the role of Augusta Lockridge on Santa Barbara. In 2003, Kelly Monaco (Sam, GH) was up for the role of Nikki Munson on As the World Turns; she also auditioned for All My Children. Martha Madison as Marah Lewis would have been perfect casting to me. It's a shame it didn't work out two-times in a low. And also a shame she did not land the role of Bethany. I know she revealed she also auditioned for The Bold and the Beautiful opposite Jack Wagner. Sarah sounds like the most logical character for her, though. No. There is only one Carly Tenney, and that is Maura West! I remember this being reported back in the day, and that Martha Byrne was up for the role of Marty. Funny coincidence? Susan Haskell auditioned for the role of Lily, alongside Noelle Beck and Dedee Pfeiffer. I don't know how I would've felt about Jon Lindstrom being cast as Jack Abbott. I'm glad Peter Bergman was chosen at the end of the day. Oh! That could have been fun! I believe Eileen Davidson did confirm, at one point, General Hospital had interest in signing her, but she ended up passing on the role. And I know they wanted Melody Thomas Scott for a recast of Heather Webber. I definitely could have seen her as Bonnie. Such a missed opportunity. To me, Jennifer Bransford resembled Nancy Lee Grahn a bit. Just in their bone structures.
