ARTICLE: Cast of ‘General Hospital’ To Appear As Guests on Upcoming Episode of ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’
We had it so good with MySpace. All Tom wanted was to be our friend, and then everyone ran to Facebook complaining about wanting things we already had... on MySpace!

The whole story is sus; Lois' hinting was never dropped in until this storyline began, and it paints her poorly. Not to mention, it re-writes history as we saw it play out. It's at times like this I do feel Douglas Marland's rules on how not to ruin a soap come into play (even though it seems like they're trying to touch on #7, which is not how it should be done): Watch the show. Learn the history of the show. You would be surprised at the ideas that you can get from the back story of your characters. Read the fan mail. The very characters that are not thrilling to you may be the audience's favorites. Be objective. When I came in to (the show), the first thing I said was, what is pleasing the audience? You have to put your own personal likes and dislikes aside and develop the characters that the audience wants to see. Talk to everyone; writers and actors especially. There may be something in a character's history that will work beautifully for you, and who would know better than the actor who has been playing the role? Don't change a core character. You can certainly give them edges they didn't have before, or give them a logical reason to change their behavior. But when the audience says, "He would never do that," then you have failed. Build new characters slowly. Everyone knows that it takes six months to a year for an audience to care about a new character. Tie them in to existing characters. Don't shove them down the viewers' throats. If you feel staff changes are in order, look within the organization first. P&G (Procter & Gamble) does a lot of promoting from within. Almost all of our producers worked their way up from staff positions, and that means they know the show. Don't fire anyone for six months. I feel very deeply that you should look at the show's canvas before you do anything. Good soap opera is good storytelling. It's very simple.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
🤣 Yeah; I'm just hoping she's doing well following her recent cancer diagnosis. Judging from the image, courtesy of Alan Locher, she [appears] to be well!

GH: Actor leaves, former Y&R actor in
It is feeling suspicious; I cannot recall of a time when a cast member was replaced at a fan event like this. Yup. Where's Dirty Soap when you need it. Sounds like Mesure filmed up until the holiday break, and then upon returning, McKenna was tested/cast. I could only hope... but probably ditched this disaster of a country as soon as he could.

I'm hopeful that this could finally lead to a PROPER remaster, because the one we received was an insult. An absolute abomination that they should hit DELIVER on.

I'm right there with you; knowing how often Sarah Michelle Gellar denied returning, this is fantastic news.
