Jacob is up to something; he's being elusive to Naomi, and I am kind of here for it. Miss Dana working one of her many disguises. We love it. Mama Nicole is laying the law down (loving it), and Ms. Shanice is taking it all in! Dani & Vanessa are kiki, but I need to see Dani & Pamela, too! A stroll under the stars?! Oh, that sounds so romatic, and I love it. Okay, we're even getting greenscreen?! And it's actually solid?! Ken Corday and Josh Griffith should pay attention. But what happens with Chelsea and her... dalliance? I need a follow-up. Ms. Eva is going to fall for her supposed father's charm, and it's going to piss Miss Mama off. We love it. You can tell that they all had a blast filming those catwalk scenes! We do not get family scenes like this! I love it. So Randy works for Joey. That's kind of tea. We love it, don't we?!?! The good 'ol days of American soaps are back in true form, albeit a new and formidable soap. I completely agree; Dani was much more sharp with their tongue in regards to Hayley, and I did love that. Between calling her a child bride to Chelsea and then talking about having a woman-to-woman talk with Hayley, but settling for her. It was sharp. She is living in her own fantasy world, and it's interesting to watch and will be even more interesting to see how it continues as the year moves on.

A strong start of the episode; we can get the vibe we're spreading things out a bit and letting characters settle into scenes. Dani & Andre have some fire chemistry, and I'm all good on seeing them develop a bit more. Sorry, but Martin is an [!@#$%^&*] to Bradley. The entitlement is strong with this one. Eva's scowl towards Katherine & Ted is brilliant. Purely brilliance. Shanice is continuing to be the hospital gossip icon that she is. I gather Bill doesn't like his wives working. First, Dani, and now Hayley? Controlling-ass man. But a limitless credit card?! Sign me up! Derek is such a jealous man; he can't stand that he isn't getting Ashley's main attention. Child bride?! Dani's quips have to be some of the best I've heard in a soap opera in what feels like forever. Oh, we get iPad templates, too?! With actual ads and then a Facebook page?! We love to see it. "So, I'm here to have a long conversation. Woman to woman. I'll settle for you." Oh Dani. Your words are brilliant. Ah yes, the traditional argument of "me me me" vs. the shared one of what a couple should have. Bradley is done with Martin's selfishness, and I do not blame him. Lay the law down. Eva is not as sneaky as she may think; Katherine keeps catching her, and this sisterly feud is going to be absolutely yummy when it fully comes to a head. OH! SO WE GOT A POTENTIAL BISEXUAL QUEEN IN CHESLEA?!?! NOW THIS IS A TWIST!!!

Her three-year mark is this month, so I suspect if she were leaving, the storyline would've been hinted at already.

Same with Karla Mosley and Daphnée Duplaix, who travel back/forth from Atlanta to where their families are.

I know some did move to Atlanta; Jen Jacob did relocate for the job, and some already did reside in Atlanta, or in the Atlanta area.

The friendship between Dana ("Leslie), Jan & Mona is so nice. Good seeing recurring players being given purpose. Jan & Mona are working for the Duprees in some capacity, and Dana targeting them. It's brilliant. Vanessa & Diego are clearly "exercising" during their sessions, and the true cracks of her marriage to Douglas have begun! Juicy, mama! Eva vs. Katherine is going to be juicy. I love it already. Well, it looks like Eva might go against her momma feeling that connection to her supposed father. Oh wow, here comes Nicole's more momma tiger side where Katherine is concerned. How nice. So we're dropping actual blog sites like TMZ and the Shade Room?! Wow. Not the knock-off Gucci! The shade of it all! So we've got Jacob's father on the scene?! Whew. Welcome! Douglas is a gambler, I see. Interesting. I see this is likely where Joey Armstrong is going to come into play. The best mother-daughter pairing is Dana & Eva. I'm calling it now. I do like the chemistry between Nicole and Brandon as mother-in-law/son-in-law. S.O.L. Oh, so we're calling shït out of luck? Yes. GET IT, VANESSA! GET IT! GO ON, GIRL!

The two, to me, that need recasting are Derek & Martin! Neither appear to be engaging with their current actors. Realistically, if he were available, I'd take Sawandi Wilson (Isaiah, GH) and cast him as Martin. And while we know of Mike Manning's abilities from other projects, I'm also putting an asterisk next to him for a potential recast as well.
